My wife and I hired Sean and Custom Construction Services to install a stamped concrete patio. It was a big project, over 800sqft right against our house and another smaller 16x16 stamped patio way back near the edge of our back yard. We had met with a few other companies and were nervous of how they would handle navigating the heavy machinery around our home and gardens. After having Custom Construction Services out and walking through their process both my wife and I knew they had us covered and we were finally able to start our project with our minds at ease.

Throughout the project their communication was great, the installers were very hard working, clean and professional the project manager was always able to address any questions we had.

We couldn’t have been happier with the final product. They really did an amazing job!! We will be hiring them again for additional projects we plan to do at our new property.

We had the best experience with the CCS team. We were able to get a quote the same day they can to look at the project which was a huge plus for us as many companies never followed back up with us. They specialize in smaller house projects which is exactly what we needed.

We were told the project would take 1 day only and the crew would arrive at 7:00 AM. The crew started showing up at 6:45 AM, we did a final walk through at 7:00 AM to confirm all details, and the crew was wrapping/cleaning up by 4:00 PM. We are beyond pleased with the final result and the quality is excellent.

We 100% plan to use them in the future when we re do our stairs up front.

Great company. They replaced a large retaining wall for us, about 750 sq ft of face, and also repaired serveral paver installations. The picture doesn't do it justice. Most of these are 3 foot boulders. They were very professional, had great communications, and a great crew. I can't recommend Sean and his guys enough. Javier, the on-site forman, was fantastic.

Had two patios installed with a little walk path to connect the two. The experience was great , from meeting Shawn and his professional crew, to the final walk through. I would recommend them hands down.

I contracted with Custom Construction Services in the Autumn of 2017 to install a concrete walkway and driveway. The install took place in October of that year. After the Winter of 2019, I noticed literally hundreds of indentations on my driveway (see pics below). Almost the entire driveway and sidewalk is covered with these unsightly divots also known as pop-outs. These will only get worse over time. I contacted CCS in early March and inform them of this problem. They came out and took pictures. From this point onward CCS has been almost indifferent to this problem. They make promises about an alleged new driveway replacement but they never follow thru. Their current fallback position is that they are testing the concrete. These so called tests have been going on for almost 2.5 months. They are constantly giving me the runaround; perhaps they just lack the resources to back up their work or there are more lucrative opportunities to follow up upon first, but whatever the reason, CCS attitude has been indescribably unprofessional. So, look at their pretty pictures that they put on their website and elsewhere, but if you encounter quality issues, do not expect them to respond in any meaningful way. I have made every effort to extend them more time but I am now compelled to take legal action as they refuse to commit to a replacement. Fortunately, my job only cost 6500.00 but if you're contemplating an elaborate project I would look elsewhere. Good luck!!

Dear potential customers did you know: “Curbside appeal of your home is important. It is the reason a custom driveway or walkway has the ability to increase the value of your home, and can set you apart from you neighbors" ..source CCS website.
I must confess, my driveway has certainly set me apart from my neighbors. As for increasing the value of my home, evidently this “value” is only warrantied for 12 months. Buyer beware.

We worked with Sean Youngren who designed a patio and sidewalk that wrapped around our house and connected to the patio, for our small NE Mpls backyard. He was easy to get a hold of at any time with any questions we had and was very quick to respond. The team that did the installation included Javier, Brandon, and Angel, and they were fantastic. Professional, friendly, very hard-working, and perfectly on time. They came early and stayed late when they needed to and worked hard to give us a beautifully constructed, wonderful patio. Highly recommended.

Sean, Brandon, Angel, Javier, and the whole team did a fantastic job turning our unusable, overgrown backyard into an oasis with a fantastic new patio. They tore out the old concrete and overgrown plants and reseeded the lawn in the areas where around the patio. They also replaced the crumbling sidewalk on the side of our house with a beautiful paved walkway. We are so pleased they were able to complete the work shortly after signing the contract, and everyone was lovely and kind to work with and accommodating to our needs. We highly recommend them!

CCS did fabulous work on our new front walkway and porch. We met them at the Woodbury Home Show in March, and decided to contract with them after Sean Youngren came out to the house. He was professional, thorough, explained everything well, and provided a quote on site. He had great ideas, too, which helped us make our decisions. The work they did is awesome. The team was out here early am and finished the same day. Such a great experience! We would recommend them (ask for Sean) and will work with him again when we're ready for our back patio. Great work!

CCS was timely, communicated well and all of the workers were skilled and efficient. I would highly recommend to any of my neighbors. They deliver what they promise. A pleasure to work with Andy, Javier, Jose and the entire team from CCS. The team enjoyed working together and it showed in their work. I am confident that our driveway will last many years as they pay attention to the details. We went with CCS because our neighbor across the street had good success.

CCS was able to give me a quote on my new side walk and driveway and finish the job all within 72 hours. I have never had such an easy experiance getting work done on my home. I love they way everything turned out!

We have now had CCS install two concrete patios for us. Both projects were handled with utmost professionalism from moment one. We got a quick, free quote. They got us on the schedule quickly, and met their stated deadlines. Their pricing, based on the other quotes I received, was right in the middle of the road, indicating a high quality service but a fair price.

Their work crews are respectful and provide any information you need. Their sales people will answer tough questions honestly and in your best interest -- not just for the sale.

We needed to replace a failing 27 year-old retaining wall. CCS designed a new wall that was head and shoulders above the original in both function and esthetics. Plus, they suggested other improvements adjacent to the wall, which we accepted, that further enhanced the look of our house. Highly recommended

Three years ago, we met Sean Youngren with Custom Construction Services. We needed to replace our driveway, sidewalk, and porch steps. My husband and I were highly impressed with Sean. His vision of adding color to our porch step made it a unique work of art that blended beautifully with the new driveway and sidewalk. We found the work was impeccable as it was done by highly experienced people who took pride in their work. But, the one thing that makes CCS stand out is the customer service that goes beyond the completion date. Recently, a small leak from our roof created a stain on our porch step. I contacted CCS, and Sean called me back with a detailed solution. It's a rare thing to find that level of service these days.

I contracted CCS to replace my driveway, which was falling apart, and I also decided to replace my front walk. We scheduled a date and time, and they showed up exactly when we agreed. The job was done in one day, and the concrete looked very professionally poured. They put up caution tape and gave me a detailed list of care instructions. They also did some minor landscaping of my front lawn and laid down grass seed, to repair the damage their vehicles did. One month later, my driveway, sidewalk, and front lawn all look great! I will keep this company in mind if I need any more work done in this area.

TLS Custom Concrete added an apron and side stall next to our garage. We had an idea of how we wanted it done, but TLS took it to another level. We were very happy with their concept and craftsmanship. The crew was professional, courteous and their pricing is very reasonable. If you need any concrete work done, give TLS a call...you won't regret it!

I am so pleased with the entire process of working with CSS! They tore out an old stamped concrete patio and a short rock wall. They replaced the rock wall with bigger rocks, then laid pavers and filled in the edges with smaller rock,
Ashley in the office was kind and thorough. Andy in sales worked and reworked our plan and always promptly responded. He was there the morning the project started and it was great to have him walk through it all with us and the work crew. Umberto was the site supervisor and he and his crew were top notch! They worked hard and with perfection! I stood in awe! They were so respectful! Nick was the field manager that came by each day and made sure everything was as planned. I would highly recommend!

Custom Construction Services recently completed a driveway for my home in Eagan. Andy was the project lead. From start to finish they did a phenomenal job. There was never a time that I was unaware of what was going on. I had plenty of notice and then was instructed concerning the care and curing of the concrete.
