Devin was able to maximize my energy credit with the city so that it cost less than half of what we expected. Installation crew was on time and professional.

Tarik and Alexis did an outstanding job removing the old insulation and installing new insulation in my attic on a very cold day here in Bloomington, MN. They were very friendly and professional and would highly recommend them to future customers.

The insulation crew (Alexis and Tarik) did excellent work: professional, efficient, and careful to remove old materials. They also provided a full photo presentation of the results. Overall great experience.

We hired Snap Construction to replace our garage roof and gutters. They provided a competitive bid and clearly explained their choice in materials and how that affected warranty. Our Snap contact/project-leader Dan was happy to get into technical details of why he was choosing the best products for the project.

Dan was more than sympathetic about staging of the project, going with our suggestion to not stage materials overnight and to minimize blockage in the alleyway. The day of the project, the dumpster delivery subcontractor had problems with our alley. Dan's crew rolled with the punches, even placing barriers around our garden to prevent workers from treading through it. The foreman and I exchanged the mantra "happy wife, happy life," and everyone understood the value in taking a few extra steps around the garden.

There was no drama. The billing wasn't rushed. The inspector was happy with the roof. The new gutters drain efficiently into a cistern that waters our lawn. Every single member of Snap's crew was cheerful.

Jeff and team are amazing!! If you are looking for a deck rebuild this is your company. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable and truly go above and beyond for their customers. We had our deck done with composite and the product quality is amazing. Jeff's team and Jeff worked so hard each day working long hours to get our project complete. Everyone on his team are kind and friendly and passionate about their work. We couldn't be happier!! Here's a few picture of our before and after. Great experience getting a new roof. Devin our sales person did a great job on making sure everything went smoothly. He showed up on the day of the job to ensure all products were correctly delivered. He followed up with all my phone calls and got back to me promptly. From my point of view I believe this is a good company. If you decide to do business with them, make sure you ask for Devin as your sales person.

DISAPPOINTED!
Although Snap Construction /Affordable Insulation were hard-working and friendly, they did NOT execute the proper replacement of insulation at my home as promised during the November/December 2025 project period:
1. When installing new Roof Vents, they cut into my Rafter/Truss at two locations, as they did not correctly locate the Roof Vents in the cavities between the 2x4 Rafter/Trusses, but instead cut the holes for the new Roof Vents directly over the 2x4 Rafter/Trusses. This weakened the wood structure on both sides of the Roof Vents, and also blocked the air flow out the Roof Vents (see attached photos).
2. They performed work that they did not have a license to perform, resulting in not being able to obtain a “Building Permit/Inspection” as they had said they would do.
3. They had extremely poor communication with me, the customer, and between their Sales and Production Department.
4. I would NOT recommend this company!

Jake and Lazarro did a much-needed attic insulation install for us, and they were great! They were both kind and courteous and got it done quickly. We so appreciate them coming out in the cold to help make our house warmer!

I had Snap Construction out to add insulation in my attic and fix an insulation issue in the floor space above my garage. Alexis and Tarik were awesome! They explained the work before starting, and showed me the work they had done before sealing the space. I can already notice a difference in the comfort of my home. Thank you very much, guys!!

Thanks to Tarik and Alexis! They were efficient and did a GREAT job getting my RH up to at least 60, possibly higher. Tarik communicated well and showed me what they would be doing, and had me evaluate the job after. He finished the job before Edina noise curfew so I’m sure my neighbors were happy too! I highly recommend Tarik and Alexis!

Also, Elliot, Mark, Lazzaro and Sebastian worked long stretches in extremely hot conditions and communicated well to me as well as showing and explaining how they would address my needs with creating an attic walkway, sealing out a posterior garage closet which was poorly insulated previous to my purchase of the home, and insulating a trouble spot at the junction of my dining room floor and elevated sunroom, as well as insulating the sunroom subfloor.

Overall, I had a good experience with Snap Construction.

The initial inspection was the most thorough of several companies I considered. They were transparent about cost and timing, and I appreciated the reminders along the way.

For the project, I had a bathroom fan installed along with attic insulation. I was told Snap had an electrician available and it was written into the contract, but on the day of the job I found out they don’t actually have an electrician on staff. Snap arranged for one afterward, but it meant the electrician had to work on top of the new insulation.

The insulation crew (Alexis and Tarik) did excellent work: professional, efficient, and careful to remove old materials through the window instead of carrying them through the house. They also provided a full photo presentation of the results.

My only feedback is around cleanup. A few sweat stains were left on the wall, some insulation on the ground, and a couple of items (a roll of tape and a light) were left behind. The company said they’d pass it along to the crew, but I didn’t hear anything further.

Overall, the cost felt fair and the quality of work was solid. A few communication and cleanup details could have been better, but I’d still recommend Snap Construction.

We hired Snap to replace our roof, and we had an excellent experience. Matt and Amy were prompt, clear, and friendly; the crew lead by Jorge was fast, thorough, and did great work; and the cost fit our budget.

The crew completed our 3k sq ft roof in a single day (from tear-off to clean-up). The installation looks great; we have heard from a number of neighbors how much they like the look our new roof.

Matt and Amy were very easy to work with. We had a couple special considerations, and the team at Snap was very accommodating in ensuring we had a good experience. We highly recommend!

These guys are still working on our attic and bathroom as I write this, but I had to jump on to give a five star review asap. Sebas, Lazarro, Joe and Joshua are fantastic. Great attitudes, super nice and communicative. We have two little kids who get underfoot and ask millions of questions and these guys are really great about patiently answering them and letting them watch the job safely. We are so happy we went with this company. Highly recommend

Alexis and Tarik did a wonderful job completing my insulation of my attic. They kept me informed of their process and cleaned up before they left. I’m very satisfied with this company and will look into using them again for future home projects.

Sebastian and Alexis did a fantastic job removing and then adding new attic insulation. Clearly explained what they were going to do and then shared pics when done. Highly recommend!!

I definitely recommend Affordable insulation! Their financing was easy, and it’s fantastic they take the rebate off the top so you don’t have to keep an eye out for a check for months. Devin was fantastic looking at my space for the quote, and Alexis and Tarik did a great job coming in, giving me time to see their work, and cleaned up well. I hope all those guys get a little something nice this holiday!

Snap Construction did a new roof and insulation for me this summer (2025). I’m happy I hired them and appreciated their emphasis on customer service.

When determining if a company is reliable and trustworthy, the real test is when things go south. Any company can have great customer service when a project goes well. But not many companies hang in during the bad times. My project hit bad times (not the fault of the Snap team), and it showed just how good Snap Construction really is.

My house is over one-hundred years old and packed with surprises and quirks. I hired Snap for a new roof and insulation. The end-result is fantastic, but there were unforeseen issues that made the process far more difficult than anyone wanted. Through these difficulties, I discovered that Snap Construction really is outstanding in customer service and problem-solving. They stuck with me no matter what came up.

Many companies would have distanced themselves from me and the project. It is human nature to avoid difficult things. Other companies may have tried to cut their losses by backing out when the going got tough. But Snap and their crew never did.

As the project dragged on, they never fatigued of answering my texts or addressing hurdles. I remember one evening in particular when I worried about a potentially exposed rafter. They answered my text (after hours) and showed up to ensure the roof was secure.

Although the problems encountered were no fun, it never became a true nightmare because the Snap crew and I remained teammates. We each knew the other was acting honestly and in the best interest of the project. I saw first-hand that the Snap team was worthy of the trust I put in them.

In addition to addressing the unforseen problems, Snap also performed well on all the other things that matter on a project. Their insulation team did a great job discussing a cold vs hot roof and what insulation would work best in my attic. And they made getting the rebate easy. They presented great options for shingles, and they contacted the manufacturer to answer my questions about how much sunlight the shingles reflected (for heat management in my upstairs).

I saw Snap is a place of mutual respect, shown both to their customers and to fellow Snap employees. Teams have the best results when they work well together - so seeing the members of the Snap team work well with each other reassured me that the team was performing at their best. All crew members on site were kind to me and got along well with each other (which is uplifting to see).

I appreciated that Snap does both roofing and insulation. Due to the nature of my project, it made sense to do these projects together. It was challenging to find a roof company that was also experienced in insulation, so I was happy to find that Snap does both. I even met at my site with both the roofing and insulation reps simultaneously when planning the project.

I would like to especially thank Tim, Layne, Randy, and Josh for sticking it out and getting the project to completion.

They did everything they said they would in a very timely manner and very neatly. There was one exception for this year only. In submitting the rebate through the IRS they needed some information that I wasn’t provided, and had to seek out while I was meeting with the tax preparer. But I was able to connect with somebody and get it resolved quickly.

Jake and Laz from Snap Construction were great! They were personable and professional. They were efficient with the work of blowing in our attic insulation and walked us through everything that was done. Jake explained the before and after pictures and answered all of our questions.

I contacted 3 different contractors and am very satisfied with my choice to use snap construction for our attic insulation removal, air seal , blown insulation and new attic access. The price was affordable and included rebates. Tarik and Alexis were professional, hard working and provided a summary and pictures of the before and after work. Dee/Kurt
