Avoid this company if you live in Minneapolis.

I was excited to use this company for cleaning up some overgrown areas of my yard. They gave me a great quote and said they would contact me to schedule a date, then I heard nothing for a week.

When I reached out they said they are not licensed to service any trees in Minneapolis.

I highly recommend Romero Landscaping. They were prompt, professional, respectful and actually provided us with more than required. Our yard went from dirt to beautiful, healthy green grass. They also have excellent communication skills: I always knew exactly where we were in the project.

AWESOME Service!! I had requested a large portion of my yard that was filled with weeds and mulch to be ripped out and sod to be laid down to clean it up. Romero and Team were out much sooner than expected and got right to work!. Within 2 visits my backyard was looking so much better and it was very reasonable pricing to other offers i had gotten.

This company was God sent! My husband and I are completely satisfied with the Job Romero’s did to our retainer wall and our yard!!! I definitely recommend them to anyone who wants quality, professionalism, and kindness. The entire crew is amazing!!

We got three bids to landscape our front and back yard, which were rough shape when we moved in (esp. the back, it was all weeds and overgrown woods). Romero was the middle bid. And we'll be hiring Romero for all landscaping going forward. Highlights:
Reliability / Punctuality. When we called or emailed, Romero promptly responded, every time. Romero was reliably reachable and punctual.
Great Advice. Romero listened to what we wanted, but also gave us great suggestions.
Looks Amazing. Romero went above and beyond. Very skilled and competent. We've received so many compliments about our yard.

We were stunned by the high quality work, done on time and their attention to detail. Where they couldn't use the heavy equipment into the yard they did it by hand. Where we thought we might lose some flowers they were able to save they. As for the work, the neighbors, the others who bid on the project, the church folks from across the street all have watched and are seeing the project grow. Communication and patience was perfect for us as it was our first major outside redo. I'll be posting pics.

These guys are awesome!! Had a storm downed tree, some other trees that were looking to become a future problem plus a big pile of branches that xcel energy left behind in June. Mariano & his crew were on time, professional & thorough. They removed the trees, the brush & even cleaned out the bushes along the fence line removing dead lilac trees & raking out the debris left by xcel . It looks great & at a fair price ta boot.

His honesty impressed me. I needed a tree trimmed and he he was honest that he did not have license to do tree service in Minneapolis but he is in the process of getting that license. I may use his services for landscaping since my small back yard has over 40 different type of plant and by end of summer is a jungle, beautiful but a jungle.

Excellent work -- I hired them to take out some old garden beds, re-sod the back yard, mulch the gardens, and do some miscellaneous cleanup/trimming and they did so quickly and efficiently and at a fair price. Highly recommended!

He and his crew are so professional and amazing! Great service and price. They came out on time, trimmed the trees, and cleaned up - my yard never looked so good. There were some tall trees too - highly recommend them!

Mariano gave me a competitive quote to remove 3 large trees. He gave me a date when work could be done and he showed up on that date. Mariano and Victor removed 3 large trees from my yard near my wetlands. They were careful in using ropes to guide the trees downward so as to not fall near my house. They also cleaned up and hauled away the trees as well as the branches. In addition the crew regraded and installed new sod in two areas of my front yard. The sod looks great. I would definitely use Romero Landscape and Tree Service again!

Excellent service and work. The time from estimate request to estimate to work being done was quicker than most contractors I've worked with. Mariano was communicative, upfront and flexible. Could not recommend more.
