100% recommend grounded earth for any property maintenance needs! I've used grounded earth for three different services: bi-weekly mowing, a big property clean up which was needed due to lots of overgrowth, and fall leaf cleanup. Ulrich was always communicative, thorough, and efficient. I really appreciate his green approach and knowledge of all the different plants that we needed to deal with.

Ulrich, Robert, and Tate transformed my neglected property into a yard that can once again be enjoyed. The yard was beyond my ability to clean and maintain and the team went above and beyond in removing all of the overgrowth and debris. I couldn't be more happy with their service and I am sure my neighbors are pleased as well. Looking forward to scheduling ongoing mowing and maintenance with this team. The work done on my property was marginal. The weeding services provided were not thorough, and the disposal of weeds was left to me to haul to the curb for pick up. Grounded Earth’s customer service was very poor. Late arrivals were communicated at the last minute, and once caused me to have to rearrange my schedule for the day. The company’s owner lacked a customer friendly attitude. Worst of all, when I decided to discontinue the garden services from this company, the owner charged me $200 for a termination fee. We did not have a legal and executable signed agreement that stated these terms. I regret hiring Grounded Earth, but have learned a lesson: do not do business without a written agreement signed by both parties and do not share banking information without a written signed agreement.

Robert has been coming out for the past few months for some routine garden maintenance. I’m so thankful for all the work he does. He’s very efficient in explaining all the work completed in the follow up videos. My yard looks amazing and I’m very fortunate for all the hands on care Robert has given to my lawn. I was looking for a quiet lawn care company that uses only rechargeable electric equipmenta and I found that and so much more in Grounded Earth. Ulrich and Robert are extremely conscientious and do a wonderful job caring for our property. The communication is excellent-- even providing photos and videos of the work they did (I can't see the property in person). They have been amazingly helpful and friendly from Day 1 and are a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Ulrich and Robert at Grounded Earth!

The property clean up is beyond worth it. We recently moved into a new home, and our mower was stolen. Before we knew it our lawn was an overgrown disaster. We decided to take the opportunity to restore our new space back to a solid baseline that is easier to maintain. Enter Grounded Earth. Ulrich came out for a walkthrough within 24 hours, sent an estimate and kept us informed every step of the way. Robert did a beautiful and thorough job mowing, clearing out volunteers and invasives while leaving our ornamentals and the native wildflowers at our request. Not only was the yard taken care of, but the entire property including the perimeter and rock beds were cleaned up leaving things looking even and balanced. Highly, highly recommend!

The team at Grounded Earth did a great job of clearing out my overgrown yard! Invasive Black Locust trees had overtaken my property, and they diligently cleaned up the toxic plant faster than I imagined they could. I'm grateful because I can enjoy my sanctuary again! Also, a special shout out to Robert and Tate for persevering through 90 degree weather. I'm grateful for all their efforts, and I highly recommend their services!

Grounded Earth did a great job in our backyard. We have two small kids and full time jobs and we just can't keep up with all the weeds and overgrowth of plants. Robert, Carl and Tate cleaned everything up and got us back to a decent baseline. Going forward, we will be using Grounded Earth to maintain our garden beds and hopefully won't run into this level of out of control weeds next year!

I honestly didn't care much about mowing the lawn; I just wanted to prevent my yard from turning into a jungle. For about five years, I stuck with one company and never really thought about switching. But at some point, communication issues started to arise. My inquiries weren't being answered properly, and while I understood that they might be busy during the season, they wouldn't even let me know if they couldn't make it. They'd just no-show. Eventually, I decided to end our relationship and start a new business relationship with Grounded Earth.

Ulrich is incredibly hardworking. If there's ever a delay, he always contacts me in advance and clearly explains the upcoming plans in detail. As I mentioned, I wasn't particularly interested in yard maintenance, but the lawn Ulrich cuts somehow looks cleaner and more organized. My previous company used gas-powered machines, which were incredibly loud, but Ulrich uses an electric mower. The first day he worked, it was so quiet I actually thought someone else was mowing their lawn!

I also requested a property cleanup, and that was handled perfectly as well. Robert, Ulrich's co-worker, came in the early morning, and explained really well about what he was going to do. I'm planning to move forward with their bed maintenance program, and I feel completely confident and at ease entrusting Grounded Earth and Ulrich with my yard care needs. They've truly changed my perception of lawn maintenance!

Carl and Tate did a great job with the fall cleanup of my property. Grounded Earth are great to work with and look forward to using them for all my lawn care in the future.

Be aware that this is a subscription service. If you wish to use them to do a bit of spot yard or gardening work, you may find yourself in a long term subscription with a cancellation policy that you might think is a bit draconian. In this they are similar to a lot of other subscription services that like to assume you want to stay subscribed. I also thought there was a bit too much emphasis on using roundup weed killers instead of manual labor to extract weeds for focused areas, such as a garden. But I was impressed with their video recordings specifying what they did on each visit, and they have a modern communication and billing system with some evidence of AI assistance.

Grounded Earth provides quality service and are willing to find a price point within your budget to help make your lawn manageable. Robert, Tate and Carl helped us with invasive vine weeds and overgrowth management. Within two service-days they completely transformed our yard for the better. Would hire this team again.

Grounded Earth has been an amazing service for us this summer. When we bought our home, everything was overgrown and out of control, and we had no idea where to start. The walk-throughs after the service have not just been helpful but really informative. A big thank you to Robert, who has been both a Technician and a teacher! Our yard is looking better than we've ever seen it.

Carl, Tate, wow....Super EXCELLENT work!!! My yard is long, 150 feet, with two yards, upper and lower,quite low. My spouse died, 8 years ago and no one to care for my yard. West Nile Virus encephalitis/meningitis crippled me, so Grounded Earth really saved my property. First Ulrich Faircloth is fair and just as his name indicates. He assessed both yards and was just above another quote I got for only the lower yard. Next, Ulrich is very communicative, prompt, loyal, and thinks outside the box, rare these days! A true farmer, as I was a farmer first part of my life. Next, he is fair and caring about his work crew, and makes certain they are paid fair, and treated with respect. Carl and Tate worked 95 degree swamp thick air, and diligently and efficiently despite extreme temperatures/conditions. They were easy to communicate with. My yard especially the lower had vines, and volunteer trees, and all kinds of invasive weeds, especially the sticky, prickly, burrs, as I live next to the rail road, where everything is like wild MN pasture and woods. So I was worried I could not find a real crew to stick with this job. In fact the worst is all the telephone and power lines in the alley the vines, and I mean 3 inch vines were hanging all over, plus other invasive earth species too. It really was ugly and on top of that, folks volunteered after my spouse died to cover the lower yard in black plastic and all kinds of logs, fencing, and re barr cages from our used to be garden to weigh the plastic down. A nightmare for sure, so hats off to these amazing folks at Grounded Earth. And the number one reason they won me over, is no noise, you don't hear them working with their environmentally great machines, and van. No smell in the air either, and no damage to the Bee's, Bird's, Butterflies' and my cat as Ulrich uses non toxic weed control for those nasty railroad vines/burdock and buckthorn, volunteer sumac, and some black oak thing. ugh. Ulrich knows all of those biological plants, and is an expert at his science to manage with environmental consciousness and getting a yard back. That was my secondary and 'won me over' reason for hiring him. Plus he really went out of his way to understand my widow permanently disabled financial situation too since I live below the poverty line, for real. And I am not a lazy person either, I work part time as a hospice Chaplain! Before going onto disability I worked for my Community 25 years Hampden Park Coop, and St Anthony Park Block Nurse program, 15 years as the Cook, and the Skilled nursing home too. I like working for community companies and supporting them wholeheartedly. At age 63 I really needed help, so Ulrich Faircloth, and Grounded Earth team, Hat's off again!

Many thanks to Robert and Tate from Grounded Earth for the fantastic job they did cleaning up, mulching, and preparing my lawn and garden for winter. Grounded Earth has been an absolute godsend throughout this past summer and fall, since my schedule left me little time to tend to my property, and they've taken all the worry out of doing so. They restored my garden after it became thickly overgrown last spring, and kept it in great condition through their bed-maintenance program. The recent mulching job they did is simply beautiful, and truly elevated the space. Thanks to them, my garden and lawn look fabulous!! I and my cat couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Grounded Earth, both for their excellent work and for their eco-oriented practice 🙂

We called and scheduled at the last min and they were able to schedule us into their rotation. We just did not have the time to rake this year.
The yard is ready for winter...and done exactly like they described on the initial booking call.

I’ve had a few pretty disappointing experiences with lawn care services in the past—many of them flaky or uncommunicative—but you won’t find those problems here. Grounded Earth absolutely stands on business. Their communication and thoroughness throughout my initial experience were above and beyond.

On the day he was scheduled to arrive, I received notice he was on his way so I could get my dogs inside, he arrived as scheduled and got right to work.
