Happy Earth Cleaning is top-notch! Our bathrooms and kitchen surfaces look and feel like they've been thoroughly scrubbed. Our home feels fresh and even more enjoyable after their work. I'm happy to support this employee-owned company; they clearly take pride in their work.

We recently had our first clean with Happy Earth Cleaning Company and I’ve been really impressed with the onboarding process. They took the time to truly get to know our home and our needs, even setting up a Zoom walk-through so I could go room by room and share priorities. I really appreciated how they noted what areas could be skipped if time was tight versus what needed attention every time.

They were also wonderfully accommodating when I had to be home with my dog after a surgery—working quickly to finish the area I needed first so they could be out of the way when I arrived. On top of that, they stuck to their proposed budget, which I respect and value.

The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that I expected the very first clean to feel more like a deep clean. The house was clean, but there were still a few dusty or unwiped spots left behind. That said, I understand they were working within the quoted budget, and I appreciate that diligence.

Overall, I’m really pleased with the service and the level of care in their approach, and I look forward to seeing how things continue with future cleans.

We had the Happy Earth team out for the first time this week and they did a fantastic job. It was so nice to come home to a clean house that I didn’t have to clean! There was great attention to detail and we love they use pet safe products!

Just had my first cleaning. First, I love that they send two cleaners which cuts the cleaning time in half. They communicated well prior to the cleaning, arrived on time, and were extremely friendly while remaining professional. Most impressively, they did such a good job preparing (a video call interview and run through of the house) and asking question when they got here that they didn’t need to touch base with me at all during the clean. Also, they were so quiet I forgot that they were here! For anyone who works from home and is concerned a cleaning service will disrupt their work day - these are the cleaners for you! Lastly, they did a really top notch job. Our place hadn’t been cleaned in 3 months since we lost our last cleaner, but they did a wonderful job and, at the end, told me the places that had been extra dirty which they would continue to work on in the future. Also, love that they are employee owned. Overall cannot say enough good things. 11/10 - will recommend to everyone I know!

Happy Earth did a great job with our requested one-time clean! They had a thorough consultation, sent a very clear estimate of time per task and total cost, were easy to schedule with, and completed the cleaning beautifully. I also appreciate that they use non-toxic cleaning supplies so I don’t have to worry about exposure to my cats or during my pregnancy. The one issue I had is that the grout in my shower didn’t seem to react well to their cleaning solution and turned a little yellow, so I will ask them to skip cleaning that area in future. Would recommend!

I just had my first cleaning with Happy Earth and it was from front to back a wonderful experience. There was a very thorough video tour of my apartment, conducted by Harley, who was very professional and proactive in offering the cleaning services that their team would be able to do. Afterward, I was emailed a detailed quote, broken down into the services they were expecting to complete during their visit.

When the day came, Jordan and Jumana arrived at my apartment with their own cleaning supplies, briefly went through the cleaning plan with me, and went to work while I attended a meeting. They were flexible in their plan, ignoring one of the items at my request, and adding on another one with no complaint.

When I arrived home, their work was evident and I felt so at peace in my newly cleaned space. They even did up my bath towel in a very elegant way (pictured here as evidence of their hard work). I will definitely be using Happy Earth’s services again.

Our family has had Zaida clean our home twice now and she has done an amazing job!! Best cleaning service we have ever had; it has felt amazing to walk into what feels like a brand new home. The service has been very easy and convenient to schedule. We are so grateful for the service, thank you!

My experience with Divine Shine was outstanding. Tre was incredibly attentive and thorough. Best cleaning ever, and I've worked with many different service providers here and on the east coast. I highly recommend them!

Bummer I thought this was a respectable company.
We keep our house pretty tidy (which the cleaner commented on) but while we get ready to host I had purchased a cleaning for my wife and I for the holidays, standard cleaning, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, small loft, kitchen, and a living room. They couldn’t do it. Quoted for about 1500 sq ft.
The cleaner that came spent the entirety of a 5 hour cleaning window on 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom then quickly went through the kitchen after telling us he’d need to call the office to charge us for more time which we declined since no way it should take over 5 hours to clean this space.
When we wrote to the owner to tell him what happened it took him a week to respond when he finally did instead of working on a solution with us he immediately and finally charged our card on file and STOPPED RESPONDING altogether after we asked for either the square footage that was missed to be refunded or to be cleaned like we agreed upon. I get 2023 is a hard place to be a decent person but when you own a business at least have some dignity and honor your work. I do not recommend unless you want to be taken advantage of. I see the owner’s response on other’s reviews blaming the customer so I’m sure this will somehow be our fault and all of a sudden we’ll get a response, typical bad business.

Darren was great to talk to! Very thorough, detailed, and genuine. Our son was getting married, so we hired them. We had a house cleaning (3 bedroom, 1bath) with deep cleaning our kitchen and bathroom done by Divine. Also, cleaning baseboards in all rooms. Joy did a great job. There were a few missed spaces, but all in all, very satisfied!

Trey was awesome! He did a great job! Very polite. Very thorough. Attention to detail. Highly recommended! If I had to complain about anything, it would be about the smell of the cleaner he was using... It still lingers through the house.

I hired Divine Shine to clean up an extremely dirty rental home after tenants moved out. They stopped by and got the job done a couple of days after my call. Unlike many other companies, I was able to directly communicate with the assigned cleaning team and go over the details ahead of time which I appreciated. Tre and Ehish did an amazing job - I couldn't believe how much better the place looked after only a few hours! Their attention to detail was SUPERB. You could tell that they took the time to thoroughly clean all areas of the house and did not cut corners. This was no easy job, I even had a different company stop by to give me an estimate and they refused to do it because it would "take several days to clean". These guys are cleaning rock stars who don't back away from a challenge. I would give them more stars if I could and will always call them first from now on. Keep up the great work.

Update: It seems this review has garnered some attention, so I will elaborate.

I had never used a cleaning service before, but my brother does, and this guy blew them all away. I tried this one on a whim. The owner was the guy who showed up that day. I had never met him before.

This guy has more elbow grease than anybody I've ever seen before. Dude put his back into it despite being the boss. No management arrogance whatsoever.

He has a great personality and also gave me a very fair price. I was blown away.

We had Team Dani and we are so impressed with the quality of the work and attention to detail. This is the first time I’ve ever used a cleaning service and did so in order to alleviate some of the stress surrounding a recent loss. It was truly helpful. Our home literally sparkles and smells so fresh…and we have pets!

A fantastic experience! Divine Shine was on time and thorough. We could not have presented our house to sell quicker and for more money without them. Highly Recommend!

The condition of the house was poor before the team got to work! They worked so hard to with so much attention to detail they were able to get the home sparkling clean! They were kind and efficient! I can’t thank them enough for getting my home in top shape!

After eight months of futile attempts trying to make my revolting rental slightly more presentable, I threw in the towel and scheduled a deep clean with the pros. Should have done it eight months ago. In only a few hours, Darren (the man/myth/legend/owner himself) totally exceeded my wildest expectations and completely transformed the place into something not-so-embarrassing. My main concerns were:
1) Bathroom— currently spotless
2) Overabundance of cobwebs— just waiting for the bloodthirsty vengeance of legions of now-homeless spiders
3) Basement— no longer a “maybe if I don’t think about it, it will go away” type thing, Darren MADE it leave.
The rest of the house is sparkling too, he hit details I wouldn’t have ever thought would make a difference, and after a week I’m still gawking at how clean the baseboards are.
Scheduling was a breeze (I had called in but you can also quote and schedule it yourself online), pricing was upfront and totally reasonable, communication was second to none, and Darren is just a really good person, period— super chill and funny; can have engaging, open-minded, intelligent conversations; tells great stories (travelers and foodies take note, he’s your guy); and he truly cares about his employees and wants to make a difference. If it sounds goofy to say that this business is his starting point to effecting meaningful, resounding, positive change, schedule a cleaning and talk to the man yourself— you’ll get it.
10 out of 5 stars for the quality of clean, for the mission and vision of the business, and to Darren himself. You’re amazing, dude, thank you so much for everything and see you in a couple months for Round 2.

I think the person that was here did the best job he could. I was told & expecting a team of people cleaning but it was just one. To me a team means 2 or 3 people. Although the house & basement needed all over dusting & mopping as well as kitchen & bathrooms cleaned it was a lot for one person. The cleaner was here for 9 hours and there are some areas that were not done well or missed. One side of the kitchen stove still has food spatter on it. It doesn't appear that the basement toilet was cleaned. Maybe he didn't have a good toilet cleaner. The hardwood dining room floor has something gummy on it. Easily scraped up with my thumbnail. I'm not sure what happened there. And the kitchen counters feel gritty & dusty. That being said it does look better than it did. Next time send at least 2 people.

Tre and Dani were absolutely outstanding! I so desperately needed a good deep clean of my house and they did an incredible job. I'm a stickler for cleanliness and their attention to detail blew me away. On top of that, they are both lovely people who clearly cared about their work and were a pleasure to be around. No question, I would love to work with them and Divine Shine again.
