Excellent Service! The service person was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He made a special effort to work cleanly by wearing boot coverings in the house and tidying up the work area when finished. We had two toilets upgraded that used less water but had stronger flushing action than our previous toilets. Also repaired was the copper piping to the lawn sprinkler system that had begun to leak due to settling. He also fixed a problem with a sink that a previous "handyman" had installed incorrectly. It felt good to have the experience of a real plumber doing the work instead of a handyman that in our case did not do a very good job previously.

I set up a service appt the very next morning to have my broken water softener looked at. Roy was extremely knowledgeable. He explained in detail and made recommendations. At no point did I feel pressure to repair or replace -I was left with useful info to make a decision. There was also a mix up with the cost of the trip charge, but he called the main office, explained and the company stepped up.

I needed to replace my exterior spigots and I always like to take the opportunity to have experts review the rest of my home while they are present for opportunities to confirm or suggest additional service. HomePro identified some possible water contamination from old plumbing fixture and suggested my incoming water valves should be replaced. They seamlessly worked with the city to shut off the water and completed work quickly with little water down time. They were extremely knowledgable and clean, I highly recommend!

We had Ray from HomePro out to replace our water softener that failed us. He was on time, the communication was excellent, and everything went very smoothly. He properly explained care and operation. Checked how hard our water actually is, and gave pointers on what can be done to improve water quality. Because when our water softener died and released resin beads into all of our plumbing, he also put a pump on our water heater to drain it so the beads wouldn't kill that appliance. Overall a great experience and the first plumber I will call for any plumbing needs.

When I call, all I get is their answering machine and they never return messages. Very unprofessional. I guess they don't want new customers.

Called twice on 2 different days. No callbacks. Maybe they are out of business?

They came out, and did some work. Didn't even up finishing the bid.

I ended up spending $3,200 with them. I paid another company $1,800 to redo and finish what hovde started. Wouldn't recommend based off of what happened to me.

Requested help with dishwasher and oven installation in SLP. Work done quickly and professionally. The whole Hovde family is extremely pleasant and accommodating. Definitely our go-to company for future plumbing projects!

I would give a 10 if I could! We had to have wall hung toilets in our condo, our first plumber was out of his league. we suffered for 2 years with barely functioning toilets. When Hovde came on the job, they had the problem solved immediately, even though it was tricky and difficult. And Sue is the most wonderful manager ever! She tolerated my frustration that was actually directed at prior plumbers, laughed with me, and got it done with grace and efficiency. USE THIS COMPANY! You will be very happy!

Quick and Professional Water Heater Replacement

Came downstairs one morning to find the floor outside the utility room was soaking wet. Traced the trail of water back to the water heater and identified the leak coming from the bottom of the tank, not a good spot as this is basically a death sentence for a water heater.

Regardless of cause, I had to cut off the water line to the heater and drain it to stop the leak. So now I have no water which I don't think my wife or 5 month old, who uses cloth diapers which require some serious hot water to wash, will appreciate.

I called Hovde and spoke to Sue who was incredibly helpful and genuinely wanted to get someone out to me as soon as possible given the situation. I had to make one quick insurance call after getting an estimate and Hovde was onsite the next day with a new water heater.

Less than two hours after ringing my doorbell I had hot water again, basically it was plumbing magic.

10/10 Would use again.
