Said they would have the estimator call and didn't.
-
Fast and reliable service, I will recommend them to others. Thanks guys !!!!
-
Quick and efficient. They took down a large white pine and left the place spotless.
-
Horrible call back time and would not give me a time line as to when they might be able to complete the job. Don't bother.
-
Very poor customer service. Was passed onto this company from another company and charged over 2.5 times for amount for the work!
Not Impressed -
The best wood I've ever purchased on a dark Tuesday evening.
-
Took care of my tree and stump for the most reasonable price by far!
-
Awesome service, incredible price and my trees look amazing!
-
Good group of people. Reasonable prices and efficient. Definitely know what they are doing.
-
I've only used them for X-mas trees, but reading the owner commenting on other peoples reviews rudely and with horrible spelling makes me cringe at the thought of dealing with them in person.
-
Nice crew. Great job. Tight space. Thanks Cory!
-
Had 2 trees removed. Good service, thorough and responsive communication. Would recommend their work.
-
Very respectful team of workers: Careful, Respectful, and did an excellent job. Pricing was very fair in comparison to others.

CUT DOWN THE WRONG TREE! I hired Cleve from A Tree Service to cut down two mulberry trees in my yard and do other tree cutting at two other properties I own. I came home to discover that he had messed up and despite him having written down "2 Mulberries" and me emailing him the exact trees I wanted cut down, he cut down 1 mulberry and a beautiful 10" diameter, 30 ft high ash tree.
Instead Cleve countered with ME paying him $1000 for a 1/2 finished job and then him giving me a sapling to replace a 30 ft tall tree, which was valued at $1500 by an tree appraiser. (Who knew they existed?)
After trying to work with them in a variety of ways, including the BBB and the Minnesota's Attorney's Office, we took him to conciliation (small) claims court.
Even though the court ruled in my favor, they still refuse to pay. I am now filing a lien against their property.

Not a good service whatsoever. I was told I was going to be called in 2 days. Nobody calls in 2 weeks-or possible that one called and we missed the call- regardless of that, bottomline, over the last 2 weeks nothing has been happening. I called them back, the answer is very annoying: Well I passed it on to someone. I'd check. Her attitude is my job is over. Well, not necessarily, I called you not the other person, I do not know who you called. Your are the main contact person who represents the company, not another one. Moreover, when I asked "why did not you check what happened by yourself until I called you", the answer is even more annoying "well, why don't you call another company". No apologies, nothing..
My recommendation to anyone out there "do not work anyone like these people, why? Because they do not care about us, apparently their message is very clear "I have enough work, I do not need you, I do not care one more person" -
The employees of this company are rude, threatening, and unprofessional. They had their truck parked in the only exit to our alley and refused to move and let our car out when we were already running late. They lied and said they had a city contract which allowed them to block our alley, but when I called the city to look up the permit the city said they did not have any such permit. When I called the office to complain their receptionist pretended my phone was breaking up and was equally rude to us.

They bid on a project from the park service because we have a diseased tree and called me to tell me they would be there the next day. Having had a couple trees removed, and a number of our plants killed by trucks driving over them, I asked them if they would cover the replacement of any plants that were killed by their truck and or worker.
Instead of answering the question, he quickly stated that he was dropping the bid because if we were going to be "anal", he wasn't going to do the job and then hung up on me. Calling me "anal" because we have spent time and energy on our landscaping in the back was incredibly rude.
I think that was a fair question. All he had to do was say, "hey, we can't guarantee that, and we can't replace the plants, but we will do our best to avoid killing anything" and we could have moved forward.
Maybe next time don't bid so low on the service. I will also be contacting the Park Service to inform them of the rudeness of the business owner, and hope that they take that into consideration when hiring them for jobs in the future. -
My neighbor across the street had a stump ground. Later a crew came to clean up the wood chips and debris, when it got down to less than the crane claw could grab they used a shovel to gather the rest of it.
I happened to be in my front room and watched them walk across the street and throw the shovelful into my yard. There were one foot long chunks of roots that would have messed up a lawn mower in a hurry. I walked to remove the pieces from my yard, and the crew didn't apologize or or acknowledge me. They avoided eye contact and left very soon after that.
Judging by other reviews, disrespect to property of both the house hiring A Tree Service and their neighbors seems to be a trend.
