I have had two incidents of water damage caused by issues in the unit above mine and Paul Davis has done the repairs for both of these. For the most recent repair, there were steps that had to be taken before the scheduling was finalized. The Paul Davis employee named Matt who did the final patch and painting did a wonderful job and I am very happy with the repair job.

The team at Paul Davis has been nothing but kind, supportive, and extremely on top of things. I’m a property manager and had a huge flood in our building back in August of 2023. Due to the circumstances, we were still getting the last unit affected finalized which was scheduled to be completed end of this week. We unfortunately had a fire in a unit tonight that caused the sprinklers to go off. I didn’t have the main number to call on hand as I was driving to my building. I called Login, one of the contacts I’ve been working with for months now and informed him of the situation and asked for the number to call. He was with his manager, Jessie, at the time. Both of them were absolutely on top of it. Login got me the number to call immediately and sent it over. Jessie even left what he was doing at the time to come to the building and assist, completely after hours. They helped ensure that it was being taken care of and get the call in. Paul Davis had an entire team there even before all the fire fighters left. I cannot thank them enough for being so on top of everything. Everyone is always kind, makes sure we are informed, and make sure the job is done and done to your satisfaction, and allows for a peace of mind about the situation. Any time I have ever felt I was being “picky”, Login and Jessie have always reassured me that I am not and made sure to get any request done. If you’re a company looking for a Restoration team, just choose them. You won’t regret it.

We were waiting for our check from our insurance company to come in..... We had a couple of beginning steps done to start to repair our ice damn damage already by Paul Davis. However, Paul Davis was calling and requiring we pay them in full in order to continue the work. We have had a good amount of claims over the period of our almost 35 years of marriage. But, we've never had such a requirement. They really wanted for us to pay them up front before the job was complete? Which we thought was utterly ridiculous! We could see a small percentage maybe but the full amount. So they settled for a portion of the bill. Keep in mind our bill was more than $11,000. I believe more like $15,000 something. So it was quite a few thousand we had to pay them. We were constantly harassed by a very rude lady in the office, named Sara, to pay the remainder of the bill. We ended up writing them a letter because we were tired of the harrassment, with a check enclosed for the remainder of the bill except the last $1,500. We told them that the last $1,500 would be paid when the work was finished. We got down to having paint overspray cleaned off of three rooms they painted in. We got another call from Sara stating we were going to be turned into collections if we did not pay the $1,500 by a specific date. She stated that we were so many days delinquent. How were we any days delinquent when they didn't even finish the job? She said that Zach (the man taking care of all of the details and work that needed to be done) had been trying to get a hold of me for a while to get the overspray cleaned up. I had zero voicemails from Zach. Zach and I had mainly communicated via text message and I had zero text messages about this matter either. I messaged Zach to ask about this and he said he had called but not left a message. I never saw any calls from him. Howas I supposed to know he called if he didn't leave a message. Not to mention I had been in and out of the hospital multiple times during all of this. Not to mention it had taken them a whole year to do this job and they weren't even done yet. He replied to my text saying they would clean up the overspray if we paid the last $1,500. I asked how much it would cost to clean up all of the overspray? Zach said they might be able to do it probono if we paid the last $1,500. I was so appalled that I called and paid the remainder of the bill. I told them never mind cleaning up the overspray and that we would pay someone else to do it. Even though I told them to forget about the rest of the job you would think they would have still followed up with us. To atleast try and finish the job they had started. The job that they had now been paid in full and didnt complete. That is if they were a company with any values at all. If they truly cared about their customers. Zach had told me that they had a lot of people not pay their bills and that is why Sara was acting like this. He stated that other people had the same complaints about Sara being rude to them. This lady has no business working in a customer service position talking to customers like this! I've worked for a collection agency before and we didnt even talk to our customers like that! I think she thought she was working for a collections agency! Sara had emailed us before about some of the job details. When I had told Zach that he said he didn't know why she was doing that. He said that wasnt even part of her job. We will say the actual work that was done by Paul Davis was great. But the things they contracted someone else to do was awful! Hence the paint overspray being all over everything in three of our rooms. There was a huge lack of communication between Paul Davis and the company(s) they contracted with. I would message Zach asking when they were coming next and finish something. Zach would reply with, I thought they did that already? We would have never used this company if we would have been told from the beginning that we had to pay upfront. We will never use this company again. Nor would we recommend them to anyone!

We're so grateful for the excellent service we've received from Paul Davis following a significant water intrusion in our basement. They dealt directly with our insurance company to assist with full coverage, and provide comprehensive, quick, and correct work throughout the project. Definitely would recommend!!

I called this company yesterday & spoke to Cole Ulrich regarding a mold problem under my kitchen sink. He was able to come the next day to check on the problem. He was very personable & explained what he would be doing to determine if mold was present. He explained what steps would be necessary to determine the extent of mold spread & how it would be treated. Cole was very knowledgeable & clearly explained the process. I was very impressed by the information Cole provided.
I did check with the company's reviews on Google and the BBB & Consumers Report. Before contacting the company, they were rated A+ & had great reviews.

We had a flooding issue in our basement caused by the company who installed our new furnace and AC unit. Paul Davis was great in the emergency situation, cleaning and drying everything out. Fast forward, it took them 7 months to finish restoring the basement, mind you, it was a 15x10 foot space. Went months without them returning calls, etc. As you can imagine, no apologies, no acknowledgment of their mistakes. If you have a choice, I would certainly look elsewhere.

The people working in my home were professional and effective — different people scheduled to work each phase of the mitigation. Available/responsive for the immediate response to water backup. Quality mitigation work but very expensive.

The project management office did not communicate with me about next steps or daily schedules. It took 4 months for someone to return my call about repairing damage. By then I had hired someone else with more affordable rates. I get being busy, but I’m irked because they charged me hundreds of dollars for scans they took that they “needed” to do the repairs that they never did.

I had a slow leak from my refrigerator that ruined my entire floor (even soaked into the insulation up the walls) and the guys from Paul Davis were great all the way through mitigation and eventually repairs. They were friendly, thorough and informative and I always felt like they had my back. I'm very happy with the results now that everything is back to normal!

5 stars for my personal experience with Paul Davis .. From beginning to end ( 3 months total) my experience with everyone I worked with from emergency services at the time of the incident .. all the way through to rebuild & restore. Was professional, courteous, compassionate, and caring beyond the call of duty. From my personal experiences , a rare and welcome “ service experience” in todays world.

Do NOT hire them to do a reconstruction. I have been waiting for 4 months with literally no work done. In the meantime, the tarp they used to cover my roof leaked, letting water into the house and causing more damage. The first contact person, or project manager I was working with was fired and 2 1/2 months in the process had to start over with getting bids. Then the woman that replaced him is SO RUDE and can not communicate effectively. Contractors do not show up on time or at all with not communication, blame everything on someone else. They overall do NOT CARE about the client or the work. I had storm damage in July and have had no repairs done by November in Minnesota. It's below freezing and there is still just a tarp on the roof on my house. I have remodeled half my house and this it the WORST CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE EVER!!

Paul Davis was brilliant in our repair and restoration. They provided great leadership and the communication was excellent. In the end, the work was completed on time and it looks absolutely beautiful. Our family is very lucky to have Paul Davis in our lives. Very professional employees and great follow through.

We had a great experience with Paul Davis. They responded to all of our concerns promptly and the work was done very quickly. Even though our repair wasn't a huge project, the Project Manager checked in throughout the process and made sure everything was being done correctly. They definitely took their time and made us feel like they truly cared about our home and our repair. They did an awesome job. I was truly impressed with their work and customer service. I would highly recommend Paul Davis!

I lost my home due to house fire and had absolutely no idea where to even start lucky for me Gary Coleman called me and talked me through the beginning process I was so overwhelmed and scared but he reassured me I was in the right hands and I could not be more happy. I got Trevor as my contractor and he has looked out for us from the beginning. Paul davis has turned one of the most tramatic devastating situations of my life to one of my happiest I'm almost home my kids are so happy to have a home again. I would recommend this company a million times over I owe it all to Gary for pointing me I'm the right path without you I would have never known the amazing team. Trevor is the best contractor and really cares about the families he works with. I have felt safe and nothing but reassured through this entire process. If you are like me not knowing what to do after home damage call them, you won't be let down. The entire team is nothing but amazing.

It's all about the people. Trevor Doerr has been exceptional! He takes the time to explain the process, timeframes, etc. I was extremely overwhelmed when a water pipe in my home burst. I have never experienced anything like this. Trevor truly went above and beyond. He not only helped me with my home repairs but also managed my stress level and stayed in communication with me at all times.

After our positive and pleasant experience with Paul Davis Restoration, we recommend them without reservation. All of the team members who performed the mitigation and later restoration were pleasant to work with and they all were highly skilled from the project directors to trades people and the in house support team. They did an excellent job of recruiting and managing the various subcontractors that the job required.

“We could not be more pleased with virtually every aspect of our experience with Paul Davis Restoration. We were dealing with professionals throughout the entire process, and the results far exceed any expectations we might have had. The communications were complete and timely. The two Mikes are extraordinary and all of the people who did the work were a pleasure to have here. Thank you for the opportunity to say an enthusiastic "Thank You!"

We contacted another company (S.M.) and were given a week of confusing misspelled email. Paul Davis had a human answer the phone and our questions was helpful and pleasant. The crew was efficient and effective and communication from the project foreman was helpful and excellent. The job was done well and the follow up prompt. Excellent communication of expectations and process.

The water mitigators were awesome. The content packers/ storage were awesome. The restoration rep often tried cutting corners to get the product for the project. He promised dates but did not deliver. He hired subcontractors and did not follow up with them. (They often cancelled their arrival, the day off). We were not a priority ever. I had to call Rep back after each part of the project was complete (closet doors, bathroom counter, baseboards etc) because they were not completed properly. He purchased cheap composite baseboards and said that these are pre painted white so it’s easier. (We had solid wood before. Shiny chalk on bathroom counter top that turned neon green, that I had to repair. Framework on closet was not done properly and there is an ugly gap around the trim. Tried putting in a make-shift door (trimming and shimming to fit) instead of a custom door (due to the size) for a linen closet. When confronted on it, I was told it was “good enough” and “after a few weeks you won’t notice it”.
I ended up telling him to get out of my house because he kept coming in and saying “ok, I think we are done, let’s sign off on the project”. I told him I will have to hire someone else to correct all the issues. I have not even mentioned all the issues.
