Our AC tech was was very professional. He spent an hour cleaning out our old AC unit and tried to get us the best deal. Chris spent over 3 hours diagnosing the problem that we are now waiting on a part for. Outstanding workmanship and professionalism from Chris despite how hot the working conditions on a roof in the summer can be. I appreciate the compassion he showed my family and I!

I was very thrilled with Noonan Heating & Cooling Company. Our heat wasn’t operating and we were able to get a pretty punctual appointment. Our specialist Chris was dedicated and located the problem before he’d even taken a look, which he was precisely about. It was fixed with about 20 minutes. Feeling happy all the way!!

Chris came out to the house to provide annual maintenance on my furnace and AC. He was very friendly, professional and thorough. There was a minor issue with the furnace that we discussed and there was no hard sell to fix the issue. I would definitely use Noonan Heating & Cooling Company again in the future and especially request Chris.

Chris was very polite and professional. He went the extra mile to go over how my HVAC system worked. He took the extra time to show me how to install my furnace/humidity filters and explained how my thermostat worked. He was very patient and answer all of my many questions. I would recommend him and Noonan Heating & Cooling Company to all my friends.

Our heater wasn't working and our warranty company sent out Noonan Heating & Cooling Company to inspect our unit. Chris was awesome. He explained everything clearly and answered all of our questions. I definitely appreciate honesty as oppose to certain heating companies that only try to impress their customer. Very professional individuals! Highly recommended.

Chris provided my annual furnace check today. He is friendly and polite and he doesn't leave until he's answered any and all questions. He even showed me how to program my thermostat today. We had 2 regular round bowl toilets replaced with comfort height, elongated toilets. The support staff were excellent in communicating when to expect the plumbing technician. Mike was on time and very courteous and professional. He gave me several different price options and I chose to go with their toilets of choice rather than purchase on my own at Menards. He was able to get them from their distribution point and installed that day and when he was finished everything was neat and tidy and someone was here within minutes to take the old toilets away. I would definitely use McQuillan Bros. Again for future plumbing needs.

Gerrard was an awsome, thoughtful, and professional man! I have a belly and root intrusion in my main line to my home. He made the issue less scarry and was able to help get the issue fixed fast.

Really impressed with the whole process and the professionalism of Tony, who diagnosed and fixed the clog. He showed me a video of the pipe and build up of grease. I’d recommend them to anyone!

Scheduled an appointment for a drain cleaning for a septic system. The scheduler screwed up, when the technician showed up told me they couldn’t do anything on the septic system for $83 and changed it to $471. Did not have the service. Not a happy customer. Wasted my day waiting for them.

Keagan did an excellent job installing my new furnace today. Was very polite and explained everything where I understand.

McQuillan doesn't show up.

I enrolled in your maintenance plan with the installation of new equipment. In one year, yesterday was the third time you failed to show up for a scheduled service appointment. I was scheduled for a 8am to 12pm window of arrival. I rearranged my schedule to be home specifically for the service. I didn’t hear from you until after 3:30 p.m., when you finally informed me no one would be coming.

I understand other customers may have emergency needs but you need to plan accordingly -- you can't expect people to take time off and not honor your commitments.

Tony was very kind and informative. He throughly explained what was wrong with our floor drain and why he would need to clean out the pipe leading to our main sewer. After he was done he showed us the cleaned out pipe and gave us information on how to maintain and prevent the pipe from backing up again!

I can’t speak highly enough about this company and Alex, the technician who did my furnace maintenance check up. He was on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He provided service with a smile.

This company also has the BEST customer service. I have zero complaints. Highly recommend them.

I had called to make an appointment to have an existing garage heater connected to gas and vent. Technician arrived November 12th, 2025 and I haven’t heard from them since. I’ve called 10+ times, left multiple voicemails and spoke to many different people who were unable to provide me with any answer as to why I have not yet received a response. So, we paid the fee to have the technician check out the heater and were then ghosted. Is this some kind of scam?? I would definitely never recommend this company.

I used to Love McQ, all of the techs have been amazing, but ever since they switched to this terrible automated service, it’s been a nightmare trying to get a hold of anyone. One of the techs even gave me their personal number, thank goodness, to help with issues. I’m super disappointed. McQ went from an amazing family run/local business, to an absolute nightmare of a system to navigate, especially in times of an emergency. They used to be a number one referral, and now I tell clients to avoid them. It’s a major bummer.

McQuillan offered fair & honest pricing. We received a few estimates from around the Saint Paul area & McQuillan was the clear choice. Their Technicians were absolutely incredible throughout the entire trench-less line installation process. They were polite, prompt, professional, experienced, communicative, & confident. We are 110% satisfied with their performance & would choose McQuillan again in a heartbeat!

This review concerns a furnace installed by McQuillin Bros at my mother’s home approximately two years ago. Since installation the unit has experienced repeated failures, including loss of heat during winter months.

The furnace installed was a basic single-stage unit. No ductwork modifications were performed, yet the total cost was significantly higher than comparable installations. Despite multiple service visits over the past two years the system has continued to malfunction.

On the most recent incident, we were assured multiple times throughout the day that a technician was on the way. After repeated follow-up calls, no technician arrived and no direct communication was provided. By evening, calls were routed to an AI automated system indicating a callback would occur on the following business day, leaving the home without heat.

Due to the lack of response an independent HVAC technician was contacted to assess the issue. He identified a failed control board on a furnace approximately two years old. He also observed corrosion present on the heat exchanger and noted that the evaporator temperature sensor was not properly installed near the coil. These conditions were described to us as inconsistent with proper installation and commissioning practices.

For additional context, I personally purchased a furnace from McQuillin Bros approximately two years ago at a cost of about $14,000 and have also required multiple service visits since installation.

Based on these experiences, I have serious concerns regarding installation standards, pricing transparency, and service reliability.

Austin and this company are professional and kind. I’m happy being a returning customer of McQuillan Home Services. Yes, they have an upgrade sales pitch but they’re doing their job. It’s Low pressure and presented as options. They are willing to educate!

Did a great job! Replaced a light fixture in the kitchen that’s been having issues and made sure nothing was wrong with the wiring to the fixture. Appreciated their knowledge and efficiency!
