Outstanding service! I’ve used them since I moved to Hernando, 11 years. They complete my annual spring and fall cleaning and inspections and have installed new a/c and heating units and I am completely satisfied. I highly recommend them. You will be charged 2-3x as much as other local business provide and don’t fall for their free quote labeling all over their website. I had a tech from Southern Heating and air in hernando come out to check out my Mini Split AC system. The tech told me it would take a few days for them to write up estimates/quotes for replacement of the condensation pump. I did not receive any physical service or attempt to fix the unit at the time of the visit.

They called me back 2 days later with 2 outrageous quotes (replacing water pump was 722 dollars, more than half the price of the entire unit). I decided that 722 seemed way too high, and was able to find another business to help out for 200 dollars. On their website it clearly says get a free quote, but when I spoke with their reps, they said that’s only for replacement of your current AC or heat system (not disclosed on website). Maybe this is standard practice but price gouging me after offering a free quote (advertised all over your website) and then slapping a service charge in the mail after you realized I went with a different business that didn’t try to 3x the price.

If I was offered to have my unit repaired at that time, I would’ve gone with the overpriced service. But I was told he needed an extra person and they couldn’t get it done today, and it would take a couple days for them to even give me an estimate of the job.

The 600-750 dollar quotes for a job I was able to get done for 200 with a clearly less predatory business, and “free quote” all over the website and then getting charged for service to build a quote/estimate is a big red flag. Also the invoice says that I told the phone rep that the AC was not blowing cold air (which was not true, I said it was spilling water, so they already knew what the issue would’ve been) and said I’d pay by credit card (which was not disclosed to me that I’d be charged a service fee to diagnose an issue that could’ve been diagnosed over the phone). I will no longer use this business.

Southern has installed five units for for us . They are quick to respond, upfront about pricing, And professional in their work.

The technician was knowledgeable and very polite and courteous, he explained what he thought the problem was and I made a decision to repair an aging system.

I have been using Southern for over 20 years and will continue to as long as they keep servicing the Hernando area. For repair and maintenance, they are knowledgeable, courteous and reasonably-priced.

Tech arrived and immediately diagnosed/fixed the issue. He was professional and polite. Would definitely call again if I have a heating issue.

I have been a Customer for close to 15 years. Very pleased with this company. I wanted to give a special thank you to Sawyer for taking care of several issues and going the extra mile to ensure my issues were resolved.

Had a malfunction with my heat pump. Several other name brand companies have come out and we’re not able to diagnose the problem correctly or fix it , they charged me multiple times. Alan, with Southern heating and air-conditioning was able to diagnose the problem . Ordered my part and had me fixed up the next day. Their repair cost was reasonable. I would recommend them to anybody. If you want good service, give them a call.

Had trouble with a 20 + year old furnace over Christmas. Scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. The tech (Alan) was right on time and diagnosed the problem quickly. Within an hour I had a quote for the repairs, the part was ordered and the repair was completed the next day. The ladies in the office were pleasant to deal with and Alan was as well. Would defiantly recommend.

The team at Comer HVAC are courteous and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain what the are doing or what needs to be done. Always very professional and happy to explain things.

Would recommend highly. Our service technician, Kyle Towles is the one who usually comes to our house for repairs if needed, or to get us ready for the winter. Very personable and trustworthy company. And the lady who answers the phone is a nice lady too.

These guys far exceeded my high expectations after reading online reviews and hearing testimonials from satisfied customers on a local podcast (MPW Oxford Exxon Podcast). Alan was incredibly nice, easy to talk to and got us fixed up in a matter of minutes. Mrs. Debbie was so sweet and communicated exceptionally well. They just got a customer for life, I’ll absolutely be using them again and signing up for the yearly service. They noticeably understand and appreciate customer satisfaction, it’s evident to say the least. Thank y’all so much!

This was my first time using Southern Air Condition and Heating. Kyle Towles was my service technician, very friendly, efficient and upfront with a pricing estimate. Their communication to get someone out was great and quick. They were not able to fix the issue with the gas fireplace. I still had to pay the full service fee immediately, even though my wife told the tech there was a mess in front of the fireplace from where he used the air and he did not clean it up. I called to follow up and they said they were working on a quote for a price, for what I paid, I thought I would hear back that day. I still have not heard anything and was not impressed enough to use them again or call them back a third time. I do not recommend this company.
