I called the company around 3:00 PM on a Friday afternoon with an urgent HVAC issue—water was leaking from the drain pipe at the back of the house, and the air handler pan in the attic was full of water. I spoke with Judy, who was incredibly kind and professional. I asked if it was possible to have someone come out the same day, and she assured me she would make it happen.
Less than 10 minutes later, I received a call from Debbie letting me know that Alan was already on his way from Olive Branch. Sure enough, Alan arrived shortly after, quickly diagnosed the issue as a clogged drain pipe, and took care of it right away.
Alan also provided an estimate for an ECA contract, which we decided to purchase and have since renewed. He even took the time to discuss options for a future HVAC installation. The entire experience—from Judy's prompt response to Debbie’s quick coordination and Alan’s outstanding service—was absolutely top-notch.
We’re incredibly grateful for the professionalism, responsiveness, and care shown by the entire team. Judy, Debbie, and especially Alan went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

We have used Southern for many years to service our heat pump. Most recently, Alan McGee and his crew replaced our unit. Just ahead of the winter storm in January (2025). our 4-ton unit quit. We called Alan first thing in the morning and, by the next afternoon, we were warm and toasty. And, Alan made a run through the following day. The service was superb. Alan worked deligently to have a unit shipped in and he and his crew were here the following day ,8:30 am. By 11:00 it was up and running.
The work was professional and expedient. Alan was thoughtful and seemed truly concerned. All-in-all, I would highly recommend Southern Heating and Air, and Alan.

They went above and beyond, especially my tech Alan, to make sure everything was good and very respectful of my property. They kept my old system running probably 10 yrs longer than expected.
Will never use another company again. would have given them a 10, but google doesn't let you add stars.

We use Southern Air Conditioning and Heating for yearly maintenence on our unit. Alan is our technician and he does a great job. He is very nice, knowledgeable, listens to you and explains what needs to be done. The office staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Pleased with the service we receive from them.

Love Southern Heat and Air and we love Kyle our service tech. He is the nicest, most polite young man. He even takes time with my husband who has dementia, talking to him and laughing at his comments. We appreciate him whole heartedly.

Comer Heating and air did a wonderful job in diagnosing and fixings the problem with our heat pump in 100 degree weather. The techs were very cordial and kept us informed. They even provided a temporary inside unit until the repair was made.

Air had been out since 1:00pm. Couldn’t get anyone to come out same day except 1 company who had no appointments supposedly but could come out after hours and wanted to change 358$ for just coming out. I called Southern Air after hours. They came out and fixed the problem immediately. Very reasonable price for after hours. The young man was very polite and he is our hero. We have decided to change air services because our previous service is never available when it goes out. They have left us sitting in the heat before over the weekend. Air conditioners do not break down during business hours/days only. I 10 out of 10 recommend!

Absolutely the best. I came across this company out of desperation because our regular service provider could not come out again until next day. Which when it comes to high summer temperatures is unacceptable. I am switching my air service to Southern Air. They are available, quick, polite, affordable and get the job done 10/10 recommend!

Always a good and pleasant experience with them. The techs, especially Kyle, are always so nice. Ms. Judy always makes sure to schedule my bi-annual unit checkups to keep things running right. They take great care of my unit. It is a blessing to know I can trust them to do the right thing. I’ve been with them for many years. I am glad to see the new owners continue the legacy of great customer service that Mr. Merle instilled in his employees for many years. I highly recommend them.

I started using Southern air years ago for my annual spring cleaning and checkups and service and they have always been great and there service people friendly and professional and trustworthy. My wife and I always request Kyle to come out and a couple years ago it was time to replace my 19 year old unit and there price couldn’t be beat. I highly recommend this company for all the reasons above. I have saved thousands of dollars by purchasing my unit and always trusting them for all things that go with your heat and a/c needs. Thanks Southern Air you are a great company but most of all I know I can always depend on you to be fair.
