After lightning struck our roof, followed by a series of storms that swept through causing even more damage and leaks, we spent months trying to get insurance to do its job. Multiple people came (from the insurance company and another roofing company) and looked, reports went missing and nothing ever got done. Finally, I called Hometown Restoration. Bryson Bonham said he would take care of us and within 3 days, the wheels started turning and we finally started seeing some action with our insurance company. Bryson and his team at Hometown Restoration fought for us to make sure that the cost of replacing our entire roof would be paid for by insurance AND that the city of Madison's ordinances were being followed. He is very knowledgeable about the process and is happy to explain it in a way that is easy to understand. He communicated every step of the process and never left us wondering when something was going to happen once I made that initial call. We would have saved about 3 months of waiting and frustration had we called Hometown Restoration from the start. We are very happy with the work that has been completed and appreciate Bryson for walking through the process with us from beginning to end.

I’ve never witnessed a more unethical company. They came to my neighborhood after we were hit with a tornado. They acted like they were staking claim. Putting up their signs everywhere but not even speaking to us. As we cleaned up the debris and branches from the disaster, I saw them climb on my disabled neighbor’s roof without permission. They then assaulted another roofer. I looked up the company and it was the OWNER of the company that hit another roofer in the face for no reason. This company is horrible. They took an opportunity of devastation and used it as a promo for their company. In times of disaster you can see the worst in people. This company is a representation of that. Disgusting!

This is at least the 4th roof I’ve had replaced as a homeowner. Every experience has been different, but the one common factor has been the contractor was really really bad at communicating with me and being clear with next steps…UNTIL this time. Justin and the rest of the Hometown team did a terrific job from the start, keeping me in the loop the entire time. I’m not a roofer, but the quality of work seems to be very good. Also lots of care taken with clean up - past roof jobs I’ve usually collected at least a large coffee can of nails after the fact. Barely enough to make a handful. They’ve been very responsive after the job with any questions or concerns I’ve had. Would definitely recommend…something I can’t say about any of the previous roofing contractors.

After a roof leak our insurance company sent ServPro out to our house to set up fans in the living room to dry our ceiling. They were quick to set up and thoroughly explained everything. When they came back to get their equipment, Jeremy and Ryan were so polite, quickly unhooked all their equipment and packed it all away. They were very professional and knowledgeable. A very positive experience.
