I love this company. They always show up when they say they will. They are very quick to get to emergency back ups. They do a thorough job and still don't take very long to resolve the issue. Yesterday they cleared the blockage in our main line in about 20 minutes. They are very knowledgeable, professional and kind. The owner, Mike is a hardworking person, I saw him coming to a job on a Saturday. This company will not overcharge you for the service/repairs. Highly recommend!

Parked my dumptruck 1 hour early to meet him here...cost me $125...was here at 2:49 for a between 3 and 4 appointment. Got a call at 2:51 saying he won't be here. I just paid $125 for him to not show

Bores was recommended to me. Didn’t even make it to scheduling. When I called and was explaining the problem to the secretary.. she was very unprofessional and rude!! She literally said “ get to the point” then said I had clog.. no if u would let me talk it’s not a clog.. it’s more than that! She also kept calling me mam.. clearly im a sir. U should never gender assume till u 100 certain.. her rudeness cost bores plumbing a 11,500 plumbing repair.. hope her boss sees this!!

I’ve used Boers 3 times now. Their prices are competitive & fair. Their plumbers are competent & professional and I have always been pleased with their work. Highly recommend.

They came on 12/17 because the sewer backed up in our basement drain. They said they cleaned the sewer line from the house. They gave a 30 day warranty. 38 days later it backed up again. In the call to have them come back they are sticking to the 30 day policy. Someone is coming out today. We will see how it goes. I'll post up a follow up after they are here today.

Called them to repair a leak in my shower faucet. We knew we didn't use proper connections because we didn't know how to sweat them. Guy came and said it had to be removed and put back. He put the faucet back where we had it and soldered w copper connectons. Our bill was $695 for that! I agreed because we shut our water off and we needed to shower. After thinking about his call to his office to help get our water back on , that was the quote. Called the office the next morning asking what their hour rate was, she said we don't have one. I ask why was the bill so high and she said she would call me back after seeing the work order. Haven't heard back. Won't recommend them to anyone.

The receptionist mistook me for a woman, and when I clarified that I'm not she said "I'm not doing this" and hung up on me

We needed to get a video of our storm drain for a buyer of our house. These guys told us they could only give us a DVD. What is this 2003? Get with times it's not that difficult to upload a YouTube link 🙃. Paid 400 bucks to have to find a computer with a DVD ROM. Will not use again.

I had an excellent experience today. I called with a plumbing issue (fresh off a holiday weekend) and they had a tech out within 2 hours. He was friendly and knowledgeable and fixed the problem within a few minutes. He recommended next steps and gave me all the pricing up front. He even told me how to set up a real estate account for my rental property for streamlined service going forward. Super happy I called them!

Disappointed in this company. I called to schedule a cable for the sewer that was backed up & although the technician was nice & explained to me what was going on, this company didn’t communicate that 1. I needed to be on site, So I had to switch my day around to be there for the appointment 2. I had to be on site for a payment 3. Never asked how I planned to pay so when I gave them my credit card, which was an AMEX they said we do take it but it’s a 10% fee. That’s crazy. Atleast the tech did give the heads up.
Seems like this company is pretty good about not being 100% clear with their customers. Very disappointed, Will not use them again.

Bores plumbing was outstanding. Responded quickly to my problem after many unsuccessful attempts with other companies. Robert was very professional and explained the process step by step. Very professional. I will use Bore’s plumbing for my future plumbing needs!!!

I was recently in need of a back flow test for my irrigation. I learned that not every plumbing company has someone certified on staff to perform the test. Bore’s came through and quickly! The gentleman who came out actually found an issue, that could have been a huge issue. He made a minor fix for us and took care of the back flow test. He even sent the documentation to the county for us. I couldn’t be more satisfied and will gladly use Bore’s in the future.

Be aware THEY will cancel on you because they have something more important to do then charge you more when you can't take off work again after THEY cancel and you can only get it done on a weekend. Then they told me they wouldn't come out because the roads even after I told them its cleard up pretty well and 2wd cars are doing fine on it. Because it's not "treated". That wasn't a problem til I started saying how I thought that it was bullshit that I should pay a $200 fee for having something done on the weekend(and its wednesday, the roads are gonna be more clear by saturday) . I get that that's how they are supposed to do weekends but I'm not the one that canceld the service and I've already missed work for it so I figured they'd at least try to work with me since they are the ones canceling and making my life harder but why expect anything from companies at this point right? Still got backed up pipes and was told by their receptionist Dawn that I should probably just call someone else. But I could tell she was just done with me bitching and wanted off the phone. I hate making reviews, but this one pissed me off. What if I was barely skimming by. Not everyone can afford to take a day off work and then also pay an extra$200 for something completely out of their control. Or let alone take a day off work after missing work from a snow storm and then take another day off because of something like this. Definitely wont be recommending them anymore.

I am a Property Manager in the STL area and I always trust Bores Plumbing to get the job done efficiently and professionally. They really know the trade and don’t try to convince you that you need anything that you don’t. I appreciate everyone on the team! Can’t recommend enough.

Great Heating and Cooling company.

Steihl Services is unbelievable! Our AC suddenly went out and they handled the service call promptly and professionally. It turned out we were in need of a new unit and they were very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out the best and most efficient unit for our house. Thank you again for such a great experience and we will be recommending you to everyone we know.

I called Stiehl Service this morning and spoke with Ted the owner. I explained I currently didn't have heat, due to my furnace sporadically turning on/off. He told me his technicians were all on other jobs. So he said he would come out in about a hour. Upon taking a look at my furnace, as I watched. It was filthy, I purchased my home 2yrs ago as a single lady. I didn't know I was supposed to change my filters twice a year. The seller I bought my house from, was also I single woman. Due to all the build up that had accumulated. She obviously wasn't changing them either. Ted spent more than a hour just on cleaning all the lent and build up out my furnace. It was awful. It was a dirty job. He took his time and explained things to me. He went above and beyond to clean out my furnace and restore my heat. He was knowledgeable and professional. I definitely recommend this company. The owner is fair and the price was reasonable. I am now a customer for life.
