Shayne was wonderful to work with. Though my roof had no hail damage to claim, he took the initiative to caulk a couple of my stacks that had squirrel damage. Over and above customer service!

We had a new roof installed and our chimney tuckpoined by C&D General Contractors and will definately use them again in the future. Shayne was a pleasure to work with and kept us informed every step of the way. After the roof was installed and paid for, we noticed we had forgotten to have some downspout extensions added to better divert water directly off the roof. Shayne came over the next evening and added the downspout extensions and did not even charge us for labor. We are very happy with our beautiful new roof and C & D's customer service and good work.

C&D General Contractors is an exceptional company to use for your roofing needs. The owner Mr. Dale Nelson and his crew were very professional and courteous. Their customer service was outstanding. I had a very positive experience with Mr. Nelson and Ms. Carol Ault. The work crew all together have done an excellent job replacing my roof. Also, they have done a fantastic job replacing my roof and cleaning up my property after the work was completed. This company will go above and beyond your expectations. This company really stands out above the rest. They have left me with a very positive experience. I will always continue to use this company. Just try them and you will see what I mean. It was easy to work with with C&D. The communication and professionalism were top notch. Our roof was repaired quickly and the entire process was painless! Spectacular customer service from Shayne. Overall- a great experience working with them. We will definitely work with C&D again when needed.

Edited: I am going to edit this review as I wrote the original review when I was really angry. I will say the quality of work that this company does is great. I really love the roof and the gutters that were recommended to me by Dale. The biggest complaint would be a lack of communication. He failed to set expectations and did not proactively communicate with us, which is what we would expect as customers. We had to contact him after several months on not hearing anything and sometimes wait 2-3 days for any response. Better communication as a business owner is a must.

It was great working with C&D General Contractors after our roof got hail damage from a summer storm last year. Although our insurance initially only covered half of the roof repair, Shayne was able to send in photos of the damage and get the full cost of the roof replacement covered along with gutters, fascia, and deck stain. Their crews were professional, polite, and worked quickly to get the job done! They were also diligent in cleaning up after themselves. I would 100% recommend them to anyone in need of exterior home repairs!

They did a great job working with our insurance adjuster when we had hail damage. We were able to get a new roof, some siding fixed, our window screens repaired, and our deck restained. All of the repairs were done timely and above our expectations. They are professional and courteous. Shayne was great! If we ever need repairs to our home again, we will definitely be giving them a call.

Dale is amazing! Last year when my first roof contractor could not get it past through my insurance Dale stopped by and got the job done. Everyone in the crew from top to bottom was respectful, polite, cleaned up, and it was a job well done! I have referred him to my neighbors.

Chris was a pleasure to work with and solved many problems in the complicated process of handling an insurance claim (i.e. Replacement Cost, Actual Cash Value, Supplemental Settlements, Recoverable Depreciation). He worked with the insurance company to ensure that all damages were covered and that our house was repaired as if nothing had happened.
His crews for roof, gutter, and siding were professional, efficient, friendly, and courteous. They always coordinated their work schedule, arrived on time, and cleaned up when they were finished (as if they were never there).

Shane was very easy to work with. He was always attentive and made sure all my questions were answered and extras were taken care of. He was very thorough going above and beyond. If we need more exterior work we will use again. He even offered to help where he could in getting me someone to do interior. I would recommend.

Chris is our guy! He is very responsive and easy to work with: no pressure, friendly, listened well and earnestly sought to accommodate all our needs and concerns. We had hail damage in 2024 and needed a new roof, whole house painted and gutters replaced. Each were done in a timely fashion requiring clarifying, onsite visits by Chris each time. He satisfactorily coordinated all subcontractors to meet our expectations. Shayne was incredible to work with from day one. We had baseball size hail damage to our entire house. C&D handled everything from start to finish on all repairs and working with State Farm to get everything done that was needed. Could not be happier, best communication and very easy to work with. Now I have also recommended C&D to repair my mother’s house that has also gotten some hail damage, Shayne met with her today and she was so impressed with his professionalism and the ability to do everything needed. Through all the battles that we had with our insurance company, Shayne has followed up countless times with them to make sure that everything goes on the way it should. Shayne was easy to work with and met with the insurance adjuster. He had gone the extra step by getting a letter from siding supplier that my siding was no longer available, which led to the insurance company paying for the whole house versus only the one end damaged. Once the materials were here he had the work done promptly.
