Read moreFirst time in this showroom and I was really excited to see what they had. We were looking for faucets and light fixtures. We were greeted at the front desk by a woman who was pleasant enough, but basically pointed us toward the back. So we went back there, wandered around lost for 20 minutes or so. We had several questions but nobody offered any assistance. We were the only customers in the store. I found that to be extremely rude, so we left. As we walked out, the woman at the front desk told us to have a nice day. Not "can I help you with something? Did you find what you needed?" So we went somewhere else and spent our money where we were well taken care of. I'll never look in Ferguson again.
I have never had a worse experience. We purchased a new dishwasher on ferguson.com in March, it was installed and has never worked correctly. We have been reaching out to get this resolved for almost 6 months. We have had EIGHT visits to our home. Today is the last straw, our sales person (Megan) has repeatedly dismissed phone calls, not responded to emails and not followed up. She promised us last week that the new unit was at the warehouse, to be delivered no later than tomorrow. We started calling today to get a delivery time...guess what? No delivery scheduled. We called and asked to speak with her, but she was with a customer, we asked to speak with a manager, that person was supposed to call us back. Couple hours later, NOTHING. Called again and asked to hold for the manager, after 30 seconds I was dumped in to voicemail, called back and got the recording that they are closed. We will never buy anything from Ferguson again and I highly recommend you don't either. The customer service is the most awful I have ever encountered...and I still don't have a dishwasher. Unbelievable.
Great people to work with. Knowledgeable people who understand what is needed. I will be back for more business
We met with one of their consultants on four occasions to set up a remodel of our bathroom. She was great and worked with us on all aspects with our remodel. We were very pleased with the way things were going. We had finalized the details, and paid a $15,000 deposit. The next week, we hear from our consultant, that she had been let go as part of a large staff reduction. At first we were going to stay with Ferguson, but the next day we were called and told that our consultant had made a mistake on a piece of cabinetry, so they were canceling our contract and refunding our money. They gave us no other options on all that we had done, and we could come in and start the process all over again. We felt this was a very unprofessional way to business. We will not be recommending this business to anyone.
I am remodeling my shower. I went to the show room and was assisted by Justin who is fantastic. I ordered a shower head, neck etc. The arm was too long because my shower is small. So I contacted build.com to return the long one and replace it. Initially the customer service representative said ok, then the call was disconnected. I ordered a replacement that cost approximately $62. I called back and the next agent gave me a hard time. Therefore, I went back to the showroom and left the arm to be returned and asked that the manager get in touch with me. If I could give minus zero I would
I buy lighting for myself and others, especially restaurants. While in this store, I bought a display light for a client. I was told that I could not have the light for two weeks at least because they had to have an electrician take it down. Since I am 80 miles away, this was not very useful but I liked the light enough to put up with it. Later, due to time constraints I got something else for the client and decided to keep the light for myself. After several months of not having any staff going that way, I asked for it to be shipped at my expense. They said they couldn't do that because it might get damaged. Isn't that the problem of the delivery company and the insurance that I buy? Business must be really good at Ferguson. At another store of the same size (different company) in the area, I previously bought a display pendant and the female salesperson took it down herself. I guess it is just too much stress for the boys at Ferguson. The rules are epic at Ferguson. In my business we used to think of service as going a step further. Ferguson does not even do the basics.
