Thank you Kurt and Servpro team for all of your hard work at my rental property. You guys were the best. Servpro came out as soon as my insurance adjuster told them to and they worked non stop to help save my rental home due to a toilet over flow.

If I could give 15 stars, I certainly would. Everyone was great & professional from Jan who came initially to assess water damage from sewer back up to Erick & Kurt who did the actual clean up and all the work. I got lucky that they sent Erick & Kurt. These 2 young men are very professional, hard working, thorough, efficient, knowledgeable, on time every day, kind , caring, and personable. I was quite impressed with their work ethic, and their professionalism. These 2 are a great asset to Servpro. Thank you Erick & Kurt. I actually miss talking and seeing them daily. We had some good laughs. They were def delightful... Servpro is the real deal...

SERVPRO of West Kirkwood/Sunset Hills has always been very professional, kind, and responsive when my clients have needed assistance. In particular, Sarah Dodson is a gem and I'd recommend her any day!

All the staff were very professional and knowledgeable. I would like to personally thank, Josh, Jess and Adam that made dealing with a very difficult situation of having water damage in my home, less stressful.

I highly recommend this team for any clean up. I had a sewage backup late at night, a technician from their office called me back at Midnight - they were there immediately the next morning, they did a thorough assessment, got everything cleaned efficiently and even sent someone in for a quality check at the end. They were very communicative and professional!

My delivery of my goods were professionally handled by Jessica, Shawn, Christian, Eric, Kim, Joshua, Glen and Dave. They were careful in the handling of boxes and furniture. Despite below zero Temps, all were empathetic towards me. I would definitely refer this crew to everyone. Well done.

Great experience with Servpro Kirkwood after we found unexpected water damage in our home. Jan was at our door in under an hour to evaluate everything and talk through the options, upfront about all the pros/cons. Robbie helped get us back up and running as quickly as possible, available and responsive, took care of everything like a pro. Travis was also v awesome give that guy a raise.

Had a nasty flood back in May of this year and ServPro was wonderful. The project took forever to complete... no fault of theirs, there were a few complications because its an 80 year old house, it took a LOT of coordinating between MANY companies, and they actually helped make all of that so much easier for me to handle, because it was nearly overwhelming. They helped walk me through everything and figure out the order of what needed to happen when, and helped me find people to take care of the things that they could not do. Honest to God, I don't know how I would have gotten through this whole ordeal without Eric.

Thank God for the first guy they sent out.

Josh, I think it was, was supposed to be the project manager at first, but as he was assessing the damage, he took one look at my fish tanks and said he would be handing the project off to someone else, who had experience with handling fish tanks after a flood, cuz that's a whole ordeal in itself, and they sent me Eric.

Eric was a godsend. One of the members of his team, Tim, was also phenomenal. Very personable (we shared a lot of common interests and had quite a few fun conversations while working). They both went above and beyond to help me, and to help prep and move my fish tanks to a safe area while keeping the stress to the fish at a minimum. It's been 7 months without their full setup, tanks moved twice, with the water levels low, and my loss has been minimal!

Complications rose as demolition and cleanup began. I learned that my sewer line under the house was corroded so badly that it was near collapse and had to be replaced, and under my wood basement flooring was asbestos tile that would need to be removed first. Eric was able to give me a few suggestions on how to proceed in regards to my insurance company, and what they likely may and may not cover, based on what he had seen with previous clients in the past. He was able to provide me with information for people to reach out to in order to address the asbestos, and he was almost spot on when it came to my insurance. Once the asbestos tests came back positive, I sent that to my insurance and they cashed me out for the max coverage that they would provide for the incident.

Eric and Tim really went a long way in helping reduce my stress and providing a bit of peace of mind as I worked to schedule the abatement, and then the sewer line replacement, and then came back in for a final cleanup, dry out and disinfecting.

After that, I worked with Robbie for the restoration. Everything was smooth as could be. Just as with the demo team, the restoration team were all friendly and cheerful. Sonny (sp?) I think it was, was quiet, but particularly kind. By this time, it was very cold out. I had two cats who lived in the basement, and had spent much of the demolition living on the back patio (or coming to work with me if it was too hot), but when it got cold, I had to put them in the basement again. When they were working, I had to bring them upstairs and keep them in carriers (they fight with the upstairs cats). And then I would let them loose when the team finished. One day, I would be gone all day and out late, and I didn't want them in their carriers that long. Because I had a sprained ankle and was in a boot, Sonny was kind enough to come upstairs and get the carriers and take them downstairs, to let them out when they were finished for the day, and God love him, I heard him talking to the cats through the basement door...

Also, Eric and Tim came back to move the fish tanks when Robbie needed them away from a wall so they could put in and repair some of the torn out dry wall.

The restoration is complete now, and everything is just beautiful! I'm ready to get all of my surviving personal property out of storage now, and Eric & Tim said that they would come back once the job was done to move the fish tanks back into place for me, so just waiting to hear from them on that! Overall, could not be happier, literally everyone I have spoken to or worked with has been a joy!

I had quite a bit of black mold in my bathroom shower. Prior to replacing the shower, Jan Mullaney and her team came out, gave a quick estimate and promptly cleaned up the problem. Everyone was pleasant, efficient, and very helpful. They also came in under the estimate! Thank you for your help!!!

Jan Mullaney with Servpro Team Chestnas was amazing when we had sewer back up, (twice in a couple of weeks)! She was at our house within an hour on a Holiday! She helped ease our minds and walked us through step by step. Her team was also so helpful and friendly! They worked nonstop cleaning and removing everything from our basement. I would highly recommend them! Thank you guys!

Total bait and switch... don't waste your money. Told me they were going to test for "mold" after a roof leak. Then, after the fact, told me they can't test for mold - can only do a "visual inspection" for "microbial matter." Refused to do an air test even though that's what I need. Then, when I followed up, they were rude and dismissive... like I'm too dumb to understand the complicated world of mold remediation. In the end, the "expert" they sent to my house was just a hack who had no qualifications at all. Stay away!

The initial crew, that does the cleanup, demo, and dry out, were very professional and exceedingly polite...and careful not to disturb undamaged items. From "the top" (project manager) Josh to the rest of the group (Joseph, Al, Devonte and Jess), the service was superb. My only recommendation would be to provide a smaller window of time expected for arrivals, the day before each work day, so the client can be sure to schedule their day accordingly. Thank you for the good job done!!!

Josh A and Kevin from Servpro Team Chestnas did an amazing job cleaning our stairs and lower level carpet. They went above and beyond what we thought a carpet cleaning was. They explained the process and why they were using certain equipment and products.
They were nice, friendly, professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend Servpro Team Chestnas.
Thank you for a job well done!

This is a review of the the reconstruction branch of Servpro not the water remediation service which is excellent.

In June we had a flood in our kitchen. It is now October and we still do not have a functioning kitchen. The project manager for this has not communicated honestly with us from the beginning. He said 1-2 weeks for an estimate and it was 3. He then didn't communicate with our insurance so I had to do that which further pushed out the work. I also did all the scheduling and management of getting our flooring installed. I also ended up painting all the walls and trim during that time.
On Weds they will have had our kitchen cabinets for seven weeks and I asked if He could please contact the cabinet restoration people and get a firm date for us to have our kitchen reinstalled and I have yet to hear back.

If we had another flood I would use Servpro for the cleanup but not for the restoration.

I can hardly stand drinking water let alone watching it seep into our home…but that’s exact what it did in the latest round of St. Louis storms. At 6:20 am I called ServPro. They were out that morning and within a day or so had our lower level drying out. To make it an even easier event, they dealt with our insurance and are arranging to have crews make all the necessary repairs.
Home disasters are never simple but when you have a team of pros you know are taking charge it takes a great burden off your plate. ServPro was a great call!

Kristie Gabel is exceptional when it comes to taking care of her SERVPRO customers. She is responsive, through, insightful and professional. All the things that you would expect from SERVEPRO. But Kristie goes the extra mile to understand the families and the businesses. Needing SERVPRO means something needs to be restored; and that's never fun or easy. But Kristie makes everything better.

This company has done exceptional work so far dealing with the effects of my house fire. Everyone I have dealt with has been professional and efficient, yet very kind and understanding. Notably, Kim was incredible helping me sort through my possessions, and she, Christina, and Lynn all did a great job documenting losses and packing up the salvageable items. I am so grateful for their understanding and kindness, it was like having friends working at my house.

Servpro treats demolition (to get to the root cause of the problem) and reconstruction (to put everything back together) as two different companies. The 3-14-25 hail storms that came though STL caused some minor water damage around certain windows. Servpro was recommended by my general contractor and they also deal with directly with State Farm, so we decided to go with them. The demo crew was friendly, timely and removed the damaged areas with no complaints. They called before they came, laid down material to not get the house dirty, and was overall very professional. Thennnnnnn it all went downhill. I incorrectly assumed they would be calling me to come reconstruct (drywall, mudding, paint, trim) but weeks went by and I ended up calling them. I traded emails to get it scheduled and I had to have an assessment done for the damage. I know, sounds dumb right? They were just here and tore it apart so you'd think they would know what has to be done to fix it. Anyway, that appt. was scheduled two weeks out. I took off work to be here from the 9-11 am window. Unlike the demo crew, no one called. I started to question if I had the right day and I called them. This is where the excuses started. A project manager had quit and was creating a delay in things. I get it, things happen. But why not call and just tell me they couldn't make it. Instead, they kept blaming a subcontractor (Mike) and how he was now busy and couldn't keep up. I was told I would be called shortly to figure this out. Again, no call back so I called again. Again, still trying to figure things out with Mike, blaming it on a subcontractor. Again, no call back. The next day I called and same old story. Mike was busy with other people. All the meanwhile, I was told I was "4th in line of 20 people", "call right back", was "at the top of the list". Mind you, this was a day after they were supposed to show up for an appt. that was scheduled 2 weeks ahead of time. I ended up getting an email saying they they couldn't keep up and would no longer be interested in the work. It was the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I will never use any Servpro ever again. I never got an apology over the phone, it was always blaming Mike the subcontractor. After all of it's said and done, I don't even know if they were using a subcontractor with the story always changing. But I do know one thing, ServPro is the name on the front of the building and they weren't acting like it.

Edit: It's now been one week since the owner's response below. They have all my contact information and have yet to reach out to me to make it right. I've wasted enough time on the phone, and off work, to attempt to correct their negligence. Again, this only reiterates the lack of any customer satisfaction on their part.
