My heat went out Monday when it was 20 degrees outside and I was headed to work for the night. I sent jeff a message and he was there the next morning as soon as I got home from work. He got my problem fixed within 15 minutes and for a very low price! He is so kind and professional and I can’t thank him enough for helping me out! Seriously the best company I have ever used before! After being without AC for 4 days we finally got word from our landlord that he wouldn't be out for another 4 days to even look at it knowing I have multiple small children in the house. We started frantically looking for someone who would work with us to get the AC going again knowing we couldn't afford it and within 30 minutes of my husband calling we had someone at our house willing to fix it with little to no charge! J. Shaw heating and cooling will be the only heating and cooling company I go threw!
Jeff came out and diagnosed an aged furnace (25 years old) and helped explain the process of replacement. Instead of just putting in similar units, Jeff took the time to do pros/cons of a higher efficiency unit. While the initial cash outlay was more expensive, the long term savings will more than make up for it. It’s nice to work with local vendors and support the community! While it’s probably the last HVAC we will need, I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.
