Their crew did a good job. They are super busy and they took longer than expected to complete the job but they made it right by giving me a discount. Overall I would recommend due to good pricing and good quality service. The crew were polite, friendly, safe and professional.

Shier's did a great job trimming, branch removal and shaping my tree. They were friendly and very easy to work with. The cost is very reasonable, too. They also did a great job of cleaning up. I would definitely recommend them to others! Thank you Shier's!

Recent high winds caused a dangerous crack to develop in a 30 foot tall double stem oak tree in my front yard, one stem would hit the house, one stem would block the road and isolate 6 homes at the end of the cul-de-sac. Alex (owner) responded and accessed the situation explaining the options available to me. He also did an emergency cabling of the tree to prevent further splitting. Monday morning at 7:45 a full crew arrived to take the tree down. Crew boss (polite and professional) introduced himself, explained the process and what work his crew would accomplish. The crew worked diligently and efficiently and were done by 2:00pm. I was impressed with how well synchronized and coordinated the crews operation was executed.
I am totally satisfied with this company and their work. Highly recommend supporting this VETERAN owned business.

They did very well up until they decided to go service my neighbor instead. Still trying to find one if they were motivated politically by his sign, ie he asked them privately, but they stopped working on my yard and serviced his. Took them another week to finished hauling away my debris, and was very aggressive about my paying the bill, even though the assessor told me not to until the work was done. I found this to be incredibly unprofessional.

Otho g but great things to say. They were super knowledgeable, showed up when promised and did MORE they they contracted to do for the price quoted. Getting a contractor to do any of those things is rare these days. Getting ALL of them is nearly unheard of. I will definitely call them again next time our trees need to be trimmed. Don’t change a thing!

Shier’s Family Tree Care did a fantastic job. The trees look great…..all the trees were trimmed appropriately with consideration given to each type and location of the tree. They also did a wonderful job cleaning up all the debris!

I called several (3) tree trimming services to get estimates for the work I wanted to have addressed and only one showed up; that was Shier's Family Tree Care Service, LLC. Their bid was reasonable and I hired them on the spot. They were on schedule with doing the job task. I think they did a professional job, they cleaned up afterwards, and I am happy with the results. They did some tree trimming and one tree removal, stump removal as well.
Note: the earlier post had a typo in it, they did not do a free removal - they did a tree removal!

I have had their crews out four times over the past few times and each time has been a great experience. Ruby does a great job on estimating and explaining the work to be done and the crew that comes to do the work is efficient and conscientious about what they are doing. I have recommended them to at least four friends for work in their yards and all have been pleased with the service and work done.

Hire them NOW! My neighbors were getting tree work done so I reached out for a quote. Ruby, their sales representative, contacted me immediately and came out the same day to get me a VERY FAIR quote. The work the WHOLE team did was amazing! It was amazing to see Alex, the owner, CLIMB A TREE from start to finish! Every time I would check the progress, it amazed me how FAST it was all happening! Alex & the whole team were FANTASTIC! They cleaned up EVERYTHING like it was never there!! I took pictures and can’t wait to post them! If anyone needs a tree trimmed, pruned, or removed, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We recently had two large trees removed from our backyard and I can’t say enough great things about this company, the family that owns it & their employees. Very reasonable pricing, they did an excellent job, & cleaned up everything before they left. So thankful I haven’t had to worry about broken limbs hitting our house or our neighbors homes. We had a great experience with this company. They came out and gave us a great quote for two cherry trees removal and grinding down the remaining stump within an acceptable time frame. We were flexible in scheduling and they were able to come out for the job sooner than expected. They were very careful working around existing plants and shrubs and cleaned up the area upon completion. We would definitely use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

We hired Shier's to prune our trees. The goal was to keep them healthy and they did an excellent job. They planned the work later in the year keeping the care of my trees as priority. I hired Shier's to remove a diseased elm and to trim a silver maple. My appointment was for January 12th, but they had a cancellation and came today, January 9th. It was a big job, with a narrow alley to drop the trees. There was 8 guys, and they finished in 2 hours. They were all very professional. Their customer service is off the charts!
