Let’s start by saying I am in no way compensated for this review, in fact I don’t write very many . Avery heating and cooling pampered my old a/c for years never trying to upsell me in to something I didn’t need ,adding freon yearly. Finally it bit the dust … the very next day Mr Avery had his team installing my new A/C . My only regret is that I didn’t pull the trigger earlier! The air movement in my house is incredible, cleaner air too and for once even on very hot days I hear the unit shut off, I have seen a substantial difference in my utility bill. In closing you won’t see him in adds or on T.V. acting a fool ( guess who ends up paying for the adds anyway)but I know from experience he is honest fair and customer friendly.If your reading reviews cause your just not sure give them a chance I did and it was by far the best money I’ve spent in some time .

Avery heating and cooling was able to get me in the books within 2 days. The service was excellent and they gave me a detailed report for recommended services. I would definitely recommend them!

Furnace stopped on coldest day of the year. Called for service at 8 a.m.; service man arrived we at our home at 8:45 a.m. That is prompt service!

Chet and his team at Avery were amazing from the start. He came out and looked at our HVAC system, which we had been nursing along, and gave us several options. We chose to replace the entire system as ours was 17yo and 2 days after we signed the contract it was installed and works great! Right before the heat of summer!! They worked efficiently, cleaned EVERYTHING up and were so polite and professional. Chet and his team gave us a fair price and outstanding service. They respond appropriately during the busy season. Technicians are helpful. If you ask them to break down repairs and pricing they will. I never feel like I'm being cheated. They keep me well informed. I don't feel any pressure from them. I think pricing is fairly inline with what local rates. It's just one of those things...you always hope your repair is a small, inexpensive one. Sometimes they are, sometimes they're not. Overall, good company

I was without heat on one of the coldest day of the year. I felt like they charge me for every little thing: service call, a used part( found later for new that was cheaper), the time for the tec to go get the part from their shop, 4% service charge for the use of my card, etc. I used Avery before and they give no discount for this service.

Avery Heating and Cooling is hands down one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. They flat-out lied and said a job was completed when it clearly was not. Nothing was fixed. Nothing was improved. The problem remained exactly the same, proving the work was either never done or done so poorly it might as well not have existed.

This company showed zero integrity. Instead of owning up to their failure, they doubled down on excuses and avoidance. Being told work was completed when it wasn’t is not a mistake — it’s deception.

We trusted them with something as important as our home’s heating and cooling, and they completely failed us. They wasted our time, took our money, and left us stuck dealing with the same issue they claimed to have “fixed.”

If you value honesty, professionalism, or basic competence, do not use Avery Heating and Cooling. There are plenty of HVAC companies out there — choose literally any of them over this one.

Chet & his team at Avery Heating & Cooling have been amazing for our family’s recent HVAC needs. Friendly, prompt, trustworthy, and cost efficient - Avery is the real deal when it comes to customer service. They saved us last spring when our nest thermostat and AC went out; they had it fixed quickly over the weekend. Recently our furnace had an issue and they fixed it same day, literally within a few hours. Life savers! Our family will always use and recommend Avery Heating & Cooling!
