I cannot say enough good things about Ofilio Tree and Lawn. They were totally professional. They gave me a very fair quote for cutting and removing limbs, etc from many trees along the back two walls of my backyard fence around my wire lines. They arrived with a big team, all decked out in safety gear with the legit cherry pickers and descended in short order upon my yard, moving my patio furniture, cutting and sawing away and removing the limbs as fast as they fell. They had a team with rakes and blowers, and in no time, cleared it all away. They asked if I was happy with what they had cut and were on their way. A Godsend for sure. I'd hire them again in a minute. Do yourself a favor and call them!!!

We had a very large tree in our backyard that, unfortunately, was struck by lightning and never really recovered. After having Ofilio and his crew out a few years ago for some annual trimming, I decided to give him a call to come back out and price out the removal. His estimate was fair and the work was completed dutifully. Not only were all the clippings and limbs picked up, but his staff did a total yard clean up as well. Our yard has never looked so good! I will only trust my trees to Ofilio. Thank you!!!

Quick with estimate process and great price for services. Ofilio and entire crew were professional and friendly. Left my yard and the street in front of my home cleaner than they found it. Top notch service! Within only a few days of the free quote (which was priced very competitively), Ofilio and his efficient crew showed up on site with all the right equipment for the job and got right to work. They blew threw a huge job correcting 15 years of tree neglect in half a day.

The crew arrived promptly and worked carefully, but efficiently and quickly, to take down a huge tree, a few bushes and grind out the stumps. I cannot say enough good things about Ofilio and his crew of dedicated tree specialists. I've used a lot of tree trimming companies over the years and I think I have found my tree company for life! From start to finish they were professional in every manner, even taking the time to place boards up over the windows and boards on the ground for their bucket truck. They climbed on the roof to remove fallen limbs, even cleared the leaves out of my front yard without even asking! Do yourself a favor and look no further than Ofilio for your tree trimming needs!

I had several estimates and saw Ofilio working on my neighbors trees. I immediately called him and was so glad I did he was best priced compared to the other companies and the crew were fast and and professional. They cleaned up after removing 2 trees and my yard was spotless.

My experience with Ofilio Tree and Lawn Service earlier this summer was way beyond satisfactory. From Ofilio’s personal call just five minutes after I’d submitted the online request, through the quick and thorough cleanup by his team, I was amazed at the quality and expertise. Definitely more than I contracted or paid for. I had two good-size damaged trees removed, two others trimmed, even the root of a persistent mimosa threatening our foundation removed and scored. All the workers were courteous and friendly, prompt to arrive and FAST.
In addition, Ofilio’s company has a liaison person (Virginia) who was on this project from her estimate visit till the trucks began to leave. In between, she was available by phone for questions, advice, and any changes I wanted to make. This was an incomparable service and courtesy for me as a widow. Especially in these hard-to-find-good-service times, Ofilio’s is simply the best.

My husband and I were in a bind because we needed a tree removed quickly in order to complete a fence installation. Ofilio came out shortly after calling him for an estimate and had his crew out the next day (a Sunday) to remove a tree which was in between several home's electrical wires. His crew was super efficient, polite, professional and did an amazing job to remove the tree in under 2 hours. In addition, he trimmed up and removed other trees around my property as well and did an amazing job. I highly recommend this company and will never use any other tree service moving forward. His prices are also very reasonable. Thank you Ofilio and Team for such amazing work!

These people are fair, honest, friendly, efficient, and honest. The communication that I had with them prior to the project was excellent. I enjoyed watching the crew as they seemed happy, laughed with each other, and was so pleasant as they worked. Ofilio, the boss and owner of the company, was awesome to the crew of 10 men and one woman that arrived here this morning. He got right in and helped them do the dirty work when he could’ve literally set back and just told them what to do! Two trees were removed, and three stumps were ground from my property. One tree was removed from my neighbors property and another trimmed. They cleaned up immaculately, and it appeared as if they had never been here. Their professionalism was top-notch. Their equipment was unbelievable. A stump grinder, a giant chipper, a huge truck with huge jaws that went down and picked up the logs to dispose of them, and two buckets that rose in the air to do the work. One tree in particular had a lot of powerlines, Internet, lines, etc., going through it and it was no problem for them I highly recommend them to anyone, and I am thrilled that there is such a company that exist in Kansas City. I can't say enough good things. Ofilio has been in this business 30+ years, and he clearly knows his stuff. No up selling or over-charging; very competitive quotes, especially considering the number of workers and machines he had working on our project. He and his whole crew took such good care of us. We have a big property with many large/overgrown trees, some dead trees and stumps to remove, and some poison ivy to eradicate. Everything was taken care of perfectly, and they left our property spotless. They even took care of a huge section of weeds and brush that wasn't included in our bid. Ofilio was incredibly responsive, professional, and personable. He answered all my questions about tree health and maintenance. They were able to schedule and complete the work really quickly.

I had a great experience with Ofilio and his crew in Prairie Village, and would recommend to anyone. I called for a quote, and Ofilio came out the next evening to have a look at our trees. He provided a very reasonable quote and great recommendations on how he would do the work as if it were his home.

Ofilio and crew came two days after providing the quote and removed three trees and ground the stumps, trimmed four more trees, removed shrubs in the backyard, and cleaned up well. They did the work quickly but safely, and were all cleaned up before lunch. Thanks again, Ofilio!

On recommendations of friends/neighbors, and a one-time opportunity to see a crew from Ofilio Tree Service doing a good job, we hired them to do some significant tree trimming, shaping, and more. When I called, Ofilio himself answered the phone, and all went very well from that point forward. He promptly set up an appointment for an estimate, arrived on time for same, having texted me 30 min prior to ensure it was still good for me, and a week later they had completed the job beyond my expectations, in a neat and professional manner. (On their website, they say that when they leave, your yard will look like they were never there—and they mean it.)

The crew arrived on time, cooperated well with me, and worked around my plantings and gardens, protecting what I asked them to avoid injuring, and even cleaning up/removing some brush trimmings I’d stacked the day before but not yet removed. All were pleasant, respectful, and seemed happy in their work.

I have seldom been so pleased with a job done by a hired service. We’ve had experience with other local tree services, but none to compare with the exceptional performance by Ofilio Martinez and his crew. They’re not the cheapest around, but the price was fair, and the job superbly well done. I should note—I’m not an easy grader. (My former students will no doubt attest to that!) But this job is easy to grade: A+ all the way.

Addendum: Since the initial experience above, we have continued to have Ofilio Tree Service do all of our copious tree trimming and care. (We have more than twenty trees of sufficient size to warrant attention from an arborist.) We remain very, very pleased. And then there's this: our next-door neighbors also use Ofilio for arborist services; Ofilio and his crew were there just this morning. I happened to see them shortly after they arrived, and greeted Ofilio and mentioned to him that I had been intending to call him to take a look at an elm; there being a lull in the action at that moment, he charged right into our back yard and took a look at the tree, diagnosed the problem, and then did the initial treatment, gratis. We will be following up with Ofilio in the spring, that's "for sure and for certain".

Ofilio Tree and lawn service did an amazing job!! They are a great team! They removed a huge tree from my backyard, and trimmed two more trees. They are extremely professional, very receptive to what I wanted done and were very accommodating. I was truly impressed with how they made safety a priority. Also noticed how well their workers work together, and how quickly they finished the job. Their prices are the best in town, my neighbor next door also got to use their services while they were at my house. I am very happy with the job they did.

As a tree loving individual and found out my Ash tree's were invaded by the Emerald Ash Borer, I was devastated.

Sadly, my tree's were needing to come down. In 1 day I received a quick, accurate and better than expected quote. They came out in 1.5 days following, were early for the job, very courteous and showed care and concern for my trees, my property and my neighbors property. They cleaned up everything leaving my yard spotless and went beyond the expected by trimming a couple of extra limbs from other existing trees and cleaned up some limbs that had fallen from the storms earlier in the week.

It's difficult to find a quality tree trimmer an I feel very fortunate to have found Ofilio and his crew. Virginia, who is a very sweet lady and really knows how to trim a tree correctly, came by to do a bid and offer suggestions how we can not only correctly trim the tree, but also shape it up to look right and grow correctly. The crew arrive right on time with an unbelievable assortment of equipment. They worked quickly and efficiently and were all very friendly. After it was all done, I was amazed how much care they put into the clean up process. Thank you VERY much for a job well-done!!

I signed the invoice and we had agreed on a service date. The morning of the job, I get a text message he is not coming today. I called, tried to understand what is going on and just got random excuses back, like “you didn’t sign the invoice on the line” 🙄 If you have a problem with how I signed the invoice - tell me, I will re-submit. Don’t make up excuses. Don’t just “no show” on the job and delay my entire project without giving me any warning. That’s not how you do business.
