I just spoke with Don on the phone about coming out for an estimate. He was very Rude on the phone. He said unless I was serious he was not going to make the trip to my home for an estimate! WOW! WIll NOT BE USING HIS ARBOR CARE BUSINESS!!!

Don was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I've used him on three occasions to trim, remove, and stump trees and he did a great job on everything. Fair price and incredibly quick response time. Highly recommend him!

Don and his crew have done a wonderful job trimming our enormous pin oaks and sweet gum trees. He has taken care of us for many years. Recently, they did a major clean-up for us and we were very pleased!

Arbor Care did a great job at a good price. This was the best lawn care decision I have ever made. I give this company the highest rating possible and will call them again. Thanks for my new backyard.

Please be careful hiring this person. We only spoke with him on the phone and had made a request to have our trees thinned out from bottom to the top of our trees. We also only told him to thin specific trees. He showed up two days after we called, however, we were not home but we thought we could trust his judgement because he kept saying he had been doing this for awhile and knew what we wanted. When we got home the trees had not been thinned and they had taken off a lot of branches we used for privacy and did not thin out the tree all the way up only about 15 feet up. Our trees are misshapen now and have big holes in the bottom of the trees. When we called to speak with him regarding the service and how displeased we were he continued to call me "LADY" instead of by my name or being professional during the call and he ended up hanging up on us. Then all he kept talking about was his money we owed. My only advice is to meet him in person, be there when they do cut your trees, and do not go with the lowest bid you will get what you paid for.

Don was helpful, thorough, easy to work with. For an experienced & fully insured establishment, the price is definitely reasonable and competitive (I'd even say inexpensive.) Quick to get the estimate, and quick to get the job done. The crew is efficient, friendly, and very tidy. We are very impressed. Already recommended to my neighbor and brother.
I also like it that he's so tech savvy. :) A big plus.

Don did a great job on my trees. They look so much better. It’s like my yard got a facelift. He was professional and efficient. Cleanup was impeccable. I look forward to doing business with Arbor Care again.

I spoke with Don from Arbor Care, Inc to have someone come out and give us an estimate of having a large (50-60 year old) tree removed in our backyard. My fiancé and I are first time homeowners and we have been running into more problems with our home in the last 9 months than we could have ever imagined. One being the oak tree in our backyard and branches falling and breaking on our neighbor's fence. After giving the gentleman our address he ended up pulling up our location on google maps. He questioned me what kind of tree it was. To be honest I thought this was something that the professional would have been able to tell me. I then questioned him whether or not the business had liability and workman's comp insurance. He laughed and said that in the state of Missouri you don't have to have workman's comp and that he hasn't had it so many years since the business has been running.Once he explained how much he would charge he then asked me if I would like his foreman to come out and take a look at it. I said yes, and after giving him my information he asked when I would like to have the tree down, "between now and Christmas?" he says. I explained to him that I was in the process of getting estimates and that it would be a matter that my fiancé and I would have to discuss. He then told me that he already gave me a price and said, "you either can or can't afford it" and it would be a waste of his time to have his foreman come out and take look. "Do you want him to come or not?, he says." At that point I was tired of his attitude and kindly said forget about. That's the time that he hung up on me! From personal experience, I will not use this businesses service.

I was extremely disappointed with their service. After they bid our job, I had to call them after a couple weeks to see when they were coming. Then I was told they couldn't give just 24 hours notice for when they'd be at my house. The main issue arose when apparently their bid didn't include everything I wanted removed. I was told that it was my fault, even when the crew had the same understanding I did. When dealing with Don he was very abrasive, accusatory and unapologetic. I would NOT recommend using Arbor Care!

Don and his crew came out and did the estimate quickly, and were priced well below the other quotes I received for the 5 or so trees I needed removed.

when they came out to do the work, they were quick, helpful, did a great job answering some random tree/plant related questions I had and cleaned up afterwards very well. Barely could tell they were ever there other than where I was used to seeing trees now being void of trees.

I will use them again in the future when the need arises, and would recommend them to anyone.

A large section of a massive pin oak in our front yard split off and fell on both our and our neighbor's roofs. The ArborCare crew was out early the next morning and did an excellent job of dissecting the tree's upper limbs and removing them. Then they called in a crane to remove the biggest section of the tree which leaned precariously against both houses. They chose the correct procedure to remove the huge weight of the tree that was balanced uncertainly against the two roofs. They thoroughly cleaned up debris. II was very satisfied with their work and highly recommend them.

We had a tree fall into our neighbor's tree after some major rains. Don came out with in a few hours of our call to give us an estimate. He explained what he would do, how he would do it, and how much it would cost. We called two other companies and one couldn't even come to look at that week and the other didn't seem very professional. Arbor Care gave us a fair estimate. It was a little higher than our other bid, but this was an investment, and I would rather pay an extra $100 to get the job done properly. Our neighbor has been reallllly worried about their tree, so I left a message for Don on a Sunday (yesterday) to see how soon they could come take out our tree. He immediately called me back. It is Monday 12:00 PM, and the tree is gone, they removed the damaged limbs from our neighbor's tree, and our fence is back in place. All is right with the world.

On a side note, I am a female and sometimes dealing with male workers in male-dominated industries can be frustrating. They try to deal with the "man of the of the house" or talk down to women. Don was professional and personable. His staff was worked quickly and calmly.

Arbor Care and Don have been taking care of my trees for over 10 years. They have the professionalism, know how and equipment to get the job done quickly and neatly, and at a reasonable price. Their last job at my home was a few days ago when a large pear tree in my front yard began to crack in strong winds. They were out soon to take it out, thus saving my house and other smaller trees from damage. While they were here, they trimmed some large trees in the backyard. Don also hand pruned some smaller trees. He's an artist, only instead of using a paintbrush, he uses a pruner. How great my yard looks now.

I returned home from work to find our trees out front looking excellent! Don promised that the work would be good, and he delivered. In fact, he exceeded my expectations. Initially, I was hesitant to "splurge" on tree cutting...but I am so glad I did. It greatly improved our curb appeal and the pricing was fair. I am definitely going to keep Arbor Care's information on file for any other tree maintenance needs I may have in the future, as well as to pass along to friends! Great job! Thanks, Don!

Don and his crew were fantastic! He had all the right equipment to do a really big job fast. We had to get quotes from several tree services for our insurance. Don's quote was at least $1000 less than any other service. He manage to get our downed tree out of our neighbors yard without further damaging fencing, landscaping or other large trees in both yards. I will recommend Arbor Care to all my friends and neighbors!

We have used Arbor Care multiple times in the 24 years we have been in our home. He is knowledgeable, honest, fair, and skilled. I love that he is a fellow Brookside resident and is still just as great after 30 years in business ! Our trees look fantastic!

Arbor care did a very good quality job trimming my ash tree. They really made this tree look fantastic by removing the dead limbs, shaping it nicely and didn't butcher it. Cleaned everything up and even picked up some limbs that fell during a windstorm weeks before. 5 stars..
