Our four old oak trees look absolutely beautiful and stately thanks to the Hendrickson Tree Care crew. We now have the best looking trees in the neighborhood and just added value to our lot. Our trees had become unsightly due to the neglect of the previous owners, and we knew that in order to preserve them they would need more than just a tree trimming crew. My husband researched and found Hendrickson, and as they are certified arborists we felt confident they were what we were looking for. We were even more impressed when they came out for an evaluation and told us that they could get their climbing rig into our fenced in backyard through our gate. We were anticipating having to take down part of our fence to get a cherry picker next to the trees, but that turned out to be unnecessary. When the crew came, they were attentive to what we were asking for, namely clearing out the dead and lifting the low hanging branches over roofs and roads. Of course they know trees better than we do, so after the initial conversation we let them do their thing. It was so nice to know that they all were well trained and knew how care for trees, not just saw off branches. They did an amazing job, and we are extremely pleased with their work.

I was very happy with the prompt, good quality, safe service that the two tree technicians (not sure of the job title) provided. Both Aaron and Jill were very sure to complete the tree trim/pruning safely and in a timely way. They also provided answers to my questions about what they were doing--I tried not to distract them while they were working. They were very courteous and hard-working. They also cleaned up any debris that was created during the job thoroughly. I feel that my tree is ready to withstand winter winds, etc. now. Thanks again.

PS: Aaron and Jill also noticed some cracked limbs on the next door neighbor's tree, which could be dangerous if they snapped and fell. I was advised by neighbor that he would get the rental property manager to take care of the issue. Good heads up!

We have used Hendrickson Tree Company for over 20 years.
We used to live on 2 acres with 57 trees and hundreds of shrubs.
Hendrickson helped us a lot in saving trees and shrubs from pests and infestation. Just prior to a major ice storm we had our large trees thinned out. We were lucky. Many of our neighbors had house damage when iced caked branches fell on their homes. We had no house damage, and only minor branch breaks.
We continued to have our mature trees thinned every other year to avoid large branches dropping across our lawn and house.

In 2020 we moved to a new home and smaller lot. We signed up for annual plan with Hendrickson even though our trees and shrubs were new and small. Already the crew has helped shape street trees that suffered winter damage. They removed two dead trees and found the culprit as being too much ground water. As for bug infestation, Joe Hendrickson knows the species of my trees and plants. He advised me to do nothing.
Japanese beetles were not attracted to my species of plants.
Joe does not like to spray for no reason. He is very careful with the ecosystem.

Hendrickson is a fabulous company! They have been a huge help for years. The crews are cheerful and work hard. They clean up
after themselves. We are happy customers.

This business - not employed by us - parked in front of our driveway not once, but TWICE. When I asked them the second time, the technician's eventual response to my request for them to apologize was "Thank you for being rude." Execrable PR.

We have several rare and unusual species of trees, and Hendrickson has the knowledge and expertise to properly care for them, including control of tree diseases and pests, watering requirements and the special needs of rare species of trees.

We had a massive tree uprooted during a windstorm on 7/31 that landed right on our house. We called RC Tree for help, and they responded within an hour, despite the chaos from multiple storms in the area. By the next morning, Matt and his team were at our doorstep, ready to handle the situation with professionalism and care.

They not only removed the tree quickly but also went the extra mile by coordinating with KCPL to safely shut off the power and even helped with communication with our insurance company. Their customer service was unmatched by the other bids we received, and the price was extremely fair. The work was thorough and stress-free, thanks to their attention to detail and compassionate approach during such a challenging time.

RC Tree Service was fantastic with handling the request i made to remove a large brush pile. I spoke with Chad, who provided me with my estimate, and shortly after, I was able to work with him to schedule a day to have this completed, even though he had to rearrange a few other personal commitments to make it happen. The crew came out and was phenomenal. They kept me up to date on everything they were doing and really went the extra mile with follow-through and cleanup. I will be using RC Tree Service again soon, as it's reassuring to know they are reliable and of high integrity.

RC Tree is the ultimate! When we needed to have our dying elm tree removed, they rose to the occasion in every way possible. They came in with the best quote (by far). They were professionals about having the electrical company take care of a solid portion of the job due to power lines running through the limbs—this meant waiting months on Evergy’s availability, BUT also resulted in significant savings for us. Waiting was well worth it, and RC Tree was amazing about promptly working us into their schedule to finish the job. The team worked hard to take down the rest of the tree in less than one day! And when the job turned out to be more challenging than they’d anticipated, they maintained their original, incredible bid! We’ve already recommended RC Tree to friends and neighbors who have been over the moon with the stellar service and professionalism of RC’s team. RC Tree is the very best!

Could not recommend RC more highly! I had a dead tree out front, two huge volunteers that were growing into my deck, and insanely tall neighbor trees that were growing laterally minimum 30ft into my backyard that completely blocked out the sun. Within 24 hours of requesting an appointment, the owner of the company called me to discuss my needs, had an arborist out the next morning to look at my property, had an estimate later that same day (that was unbelievably affordable), that were out to my house in less than 2 weeks, got the job finished in under 2 hours, and did an immaculate cleanup job. This is absolutely NOT the norm these days with contractors. They are the epitome of professionalism. I'm so happy and impressed with this company and will forever recommend them to anyone that needs any tree work done. Thank you again for all your help!

RC Tree did fantastic work on a complicated project. Our tree was very tall, old, and storm damaged. To complicate it, the tree was within 20 feet of our house, in our backyard which was minimally accessible, and surrounded by lines and cables. RC Tree and their talented team were able to take it down in a day with the assistance of a crane, while also cleaning up storm damage. Chad and JT were great to work with, very responsive and helpful, and gave us the best priced quote we got (over a dozen quotes). I could not recommend their service more.

Great job done by a really nice crew of guys. They were knowledgeable and cared about the health of the tree i was trimming. Very respectful and cleaned up the entire mess afterwards. Also, as a side bonus we got to keep the oak chips for our backyard garden pathways. Couldn't have asked for better service . I would 100% recommend them to anyone. PRICING WAS GREAT ALSO!!!!

We would definitely recommend RC Tree Service for your tree trimming needs! A crew of five arrived early, reviewed the work order and immediately went to work. One climbed up into one tree while another cut branches from the ground. With each branch that fell, others were quick to move the debris to the curb. In just about an hour, three large trees were pruned and all debris including leaves were removed. Their crew is a well oiled machine! They were all polite, friendly and eager to please. We will be using them again!

Bret and his company were very fast to respond to my call. He came out to inspect a tree I thought had termites and correctly identified carpenter ants, which was a huge relief. He is a certified arborist, and the company has six other arborists on staff. He assessed the structural integrity of the tree and explained everything with no pressure. He also looked at a weeping willow and elm and gave straightforward, cost-effective recommendations. I previously had a hickory tree misdiagnosed by Eden Tree (Eden Tree), who charged me for unnecessary treatment. I highly recommend Brett and his team.
