This crew took good care of our trees. The estimate was fair for the tree and stump removal. They even took some brush that we needed to discard for free. AND IT WAS QUICK SERVICE.

Had to wait a while for them to come out due to a series of storms keeping them busy, but it was worth the wait! Very professional group! The price was well within what I felt was reasonable. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up afterwards very thoughouly.

I just made a follow up call to Urban Tree Specialist and said Good afternoon to Denise, when she answered the phone and she replied “yes.” I repeated Good afternoon. She replied, “can I help you?”I said Good afternoon, it’s a greeting. Then she hung up on me. I called back and she didn’t answer. Ignorant white female does not care if the company loses a customer. Then she texted me with a response that she doesn’t have to say Good afternoon, telling me that she doesn’t know who I think I am. It appears that she doesn’t think having good customer service applies to her. Because she did not answer my call the second time, I was transferred to the call center, where I did request to speak with a manager regarding Denise’s hostility and rudeness towards me via phone, and text but I doubt that anyone will return my call. Not to mention I was still waiting for an estimate that I called last week for, I also emailed Nick for an appointment and left a voicemail for him. After this poor treatment and lack of service, I will no longer do business with Urban Tree Specialist. Nick had the time to reply regarding what I said to Denise, or maybe Denise was replying from his email but he no one had time to reply to me for an estimate. Then whoever replied to me via email made an idle and futile threat that further proved their ignorance and white privilege. To think you could threaten me. Beware of this company!

Truly the best tree company around. Quinton came out and trimmed up some neglected trees on my property. It was like watching an artist. The breadth of knowledge this guy has in regards to safe climbing, limb removal, pruning, knots, and just general arbor work was fantastic!

These guys really love their job and they love trees too, not in a weird hippy way, but in a professional that's passionate about their career way.

Also Nick, he is a walking encyclopedia of dendrites and shrubbery. I tried to stump this guy (pun intended, I used Google) and he knew the answers without even trying. Even the most esoteric vegetation he could identify, and then tell me 5 facts about it.

Hire these guys, if you have a serious tree job or even a basic one you won't be disappointed.

Urban is, by far, the most impressive tree care company encountered in 39 years managing Crown Center's Residental, 1.5 acre, garden. The care and service our 100+ trees receive is valued and relied on. Of Nick Goergen, our seasoned landscape contractor put it best, "That guy knows more about trees than anyone I've ever met".

Nick Goergen and his crew, from Urban Tree Specialists, just completed the huge undertaking of cutting down, trimming, removing, and cleaning up over 120 dead, diseased, and stressed trees in the Stonebridge Court Wetlands.

Nick and a dozen trained tree experts spent the better part of three full days on site. The job was so enormous that in order to avoid permanent damage to the wetlands, Nick brought in a 50-ton crane to haul away debris from downhill areas safely up to street level for removal.

Some neighbors brought coffee and donuts to Nick's crew each morning and his entire crew were professional, courteous, and the type of individuals many of us would appreciate working in our own yards.  Nick and his crew were always willing to answer any questions we asked and took the time to educate us as well.

The Stonebridge Court HOA Board chose Urban Tree Specialists, after a lengthy bid process, for several reasons. One main reason was the fact that Nick Goergen is a Board Certified Master Arborist who was in favor of saving as many trees as possible, through renewed growth, as opposed to other tree services who preferred to simply cut down all the trees preventing future growth.
70% of our trees had a T-bar grown into the trunk, therefore the crew couldn’t safely cut the tree trunk to the ground.  The existing 4 ft. and higher sawed off tree trunks that are visible throughout our wetlands will develop new growth beginning this spring and they also will provide erosion protection to keep our stream moving.
Our Board is excited to have this immense project completed and we look forward to the first signs of green growth this spring rather than the constant expenditure of funds for fallen dead branch removal.   We highly recommend Urban Tree Specialist and look forward to having them take care of future needs in our neighborhood. I received 3 different quotes for the same job and while Urban was not the cheapest I felt like they were more knowledgeable about my trees. They were professional from start to finish.

Urban Tree Specialist(Bret Cleveland and crew) came and removed two big ugly, nasty looking trees from my property and did an excellent job! Very professional work and you could tell these guys knew what they were doing...I was amazed at their precise, methodical work...I watched them (like a reality show) and took photos! LOL! They cleaned everything up and left my property cleaner than they found it, because they hauled off the 12 bags of leaves that I had sitting behind my shed!! That was going above and beyond with good customer service! Today my neighbor asked me who I hired to get rid of my trees and I told him and gave him your card to photo copy, so you may be getting a call from him because I highly recommended you guys, and will to others looking for tree trimming/removal services.
