I had 4 companies come look at my AC unit and this is the only one that charged me just to stop by and look at it. Nobody else charges but you can be sure theyll mail you letters and blow up your phone & work phone to get that $80 for that 30second stop. Should of listened to everyones warnings about how they rip you off. Now I know.

They have one of the lowest service rates. But they make it up in trying to sell new units when there is no need. They came out and looked at my central heating unit. Told me that the parts needed wasn't available anymore, but could fix me up with a new unit. I got an estimate, then did a little research. I found the parts I needed at Sears. Will never call them again.

Technicians were professional. Repair options were explained. Prices were stated up front. Prices were fair. System was fixed the same day we called. I recommend this company.

I have use this company twice now and both times Matt is on that came out in service me. Matt is extremely polite, very professional and explains things in detail. He answers any question that you ask and explains it until you understand it. Prices are reasonable and they do a nice job thank you.

Jim and Matthew have installed and maintained two systems for me at different locations over the years. They have been prompt, courteous and diligent to resolve any issues.

Office manager was most helpful & friendly. She was knowledgeable about the generator I was asking about and was able to refer me to an option that was better for my need. She was also able to come in with the low quote. Sheila was both friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Our ac wasn't cooling so we called these guys only because a family friend that does ac units was out of town. Our friend told us if its the capacitor that's bad it wont cost much to fix because new capacitors only run about $12. This guy charged $194 & was here for about 1/2 hr. He said the capacitor is bad & it costs about $120. Also he was very rude & walked back into the house w/out knocking & up to the bedroom door where I was & I had no idea he even came back inside. Will not use these guys again. I don't like giving bad reviews but want to spare others from being ripped off.

My ac/heat pump started not blowing well. It had cold air but no force. The tech checked coolant and noticed a few bent fins and said that was my problem and that my 3 year old unit would need replaced soon. $94.00 for 10 minutes "work" and didn't even use a fin brush to straighten the fins said he could schedule to come back to do that.I called someone else that came out & looked at unit, seen that it was plenty cold just not blowing, he checked vents, straightened fins then checked duct work. The duct passover had come down so cold air was blowing under the house. $120 problem solved BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN LOCKWOOD. When I called the owner and asked for maybe a reduced price considering...I was told that once the tech noticed the fins there was no need to look further and that I should just do business elsewhere in the future no discount. I WILL DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE IN THE FUTURE!!

We had to replace our complete hvac system due to a lightning strike. Called Lockwood Refrigeration. The tech arrive and agreed with our electrician. They installed the system before the day was over. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for hvac work.

Lockwood Refrigeration has had my business for the last 15 years and that won't be changing any time soon. Highest level of professionalism with fair prices and quick service. Highly recommend for all of your heating/cooling needs.

These guys came out on a weekend and installed an a/c unit in our trailer home after we found out the one that came with out trailer was not in working order. It was in the dead of summer and we have 3 small children in the house, they came out promptly and got us all set up, everything has worked great and I was happy with all aspects of the service and experience

Had the compressor on myrefrigeration unit go bad a couple years ago that they had installed. So I called and they offered to put a new one on but wanted 500$ more than the guy I used. But they ordered the compressor already. So I offered to come pick it up and pay for it. Receptionist was rude and the owner cussed at me on the phone. When I was nothing but nice. Then called today to ask what type of Freon they originally used because it’s low. A similar situation happened. So moral of the story if you like over paying, and don’t mind dealing with an owner whos rude they’re the place to go!

They came out and did a great job with our generator - even taking the extra steps to deal with the hassle of a manufacturer warranty and service call. Helpful, professional, and punctual!

We had 2 units go out within months of each other. Sheila was quick on getting some guys out to install both units. Will recommend to anyone. Great business to deal with.

WATCH OUT! Lockwood Refrigeration sent a tech to our house to inspect the property for potentially buying (2ea) 22KW Generac generators for our house. The tech told us that they had just received 10 generators from Generac and they had already sold 6 of them. We were happy that they had some in stock as they are hard to find. We explained what we wanted and he wrote up a work ticket (he called it a bid) for both of them. This bid included all electrical, gas piping and concrete block pad installation. The tech told us that we needed to purchase the propane tanks and have them filled. He proceeded to draft a work order or bid to give us an idea of the costs.

My wife and I purchased 2 - 1,000 gallon tanks and had them delivered and filled with propane at a cost of over $10,000. Lockwood told us that we had to install concrete pads (despite the bid saying otherwise) for the generators before they would come out and connect the Generacs. We asked them if they had the Generac pads for the generators and they said they did not. At this point we became very suspicious of Lockwood. We looked around and found 2 Generac 22KW generators for about 1/3 Lockwood’s price, purchased them and had them delivered and installed on concrete pads. We called Lockwood to cancel our work order and spoke with the tech who told us that we would receive our deposit of $4,000 back.
Two weeks later, having heard nothing from Lockwood, we called and inquired where our money was. The owner told us we would not be getting our money back. When we asked him why, he told us he had to spend money on shipping our generators and that there was a 20% restocking fee (though the written bid does not address any of this and DID NOT say the deposit was non-refundable). We explained that his tech told us the generators were in stock to which he replied that he was the owner of the company and not to believe his tech. What he says goes, not what his reps say. He insisted that we would not be receiving our deposit back.
To this day, Lockwood has not performed anything they said they would do and they still have our $4,000.

While selling my house the inspector found an issue with my furnace, I called Lockwood Refrigeration and they were there the next day. They did fantastic work and the charges were minimal. The tech was polite and even cleaned up around the furnace when he was finished. I couldn't ask for a better experience in a stressful time.
