Reviews of local pros in Riverside, Missouri

This was like no other experience we’ve had before. Our agent came by, checked out the situation. He gave us a lengthy history of the company, services, and warrantee. We negotiated the price we agreed on and set the job for the next morning. Two men can the next morning and cleaned, realigned, caulked and added extra hangers where needed. They then assembled the system and cleaned up after done. All on a forty foot complex pitch roof. It was incredible!

Ian arrived exactly on time. Listened to what I wanted, showed me examples of how my home would look. He was professional in his demonstration and had great knowledge of his company’s product.

If I could give a zero review, I would. They didn't finish the job when they said they would. Then no call no showed the next agreed upon time. Left their tools in my yard. Then showed up when we weren't home and couldn't verify the job was actually done. Still zero communication even when we call. Worst of all is they left nails and screws all over the driveway, luckily we saw before driving over them. The lack of customer service is appalling and I will never recommend this company to anyone.

We had gotten quotes from other companies. One told us our gutters are rotten, cost, $7,000 to replace. Another came, put screens in the gutters, they clogged in less than 4 weeks. LeafFilter, gives a Lifetime warranty. Our Rep was incredible! He did try to upsale. He did his inspection, took photos. I had told him some horror stories of different companies, that seemed to take advantage of our age as Seniors. Our Rep, came back in our home, showed us photos of the problem area's, including some gutters separating from the house due to the weight of wet leaves trapped in the gutters. He could of tried to sell us a whole new system, but it didn't! He said, this is what I will do, I'll first have my Team clean the gutters, attach them back where they are detached from the house frame. Your gutters are in an exceptional condition to support and handle the tops of our system. They came the same day and the price was awesome!

Lonnie, the salesman, was kind and very informative. This company is way overpriced. I went with them because they have the best product and stand by it. I also wanted it installed correctly on my new gutters, which is why I picked them to do it even though it was way overpriced.
I think the guy that installed my covers was Freddy. He was quick and efficient. Had all his tools. Did the job correctly. The only problem I had was I noticed after he left that my screen came off when his caulk gun fell on my window. I had already checked off that I checked everything. SO MAKE SURE TO LOOK AT EVERYTHING BEFORE THEY LEAVE. It was no trouble. I just tucked the screen back in. I forgot to ask for my receipt. Don't forget that. For the money this company makes, I'm surprised their employees don't have company vehicles to use. I hope the employees are paid well. I have a 550sq house and paid a little over 2k for covers. Ridiculous, I know, but I wanted them. I only buy quality stuff for my home. -
I recently signed a contract with Leaf Filter to install Permanent Roofline Lighting, with the installation scheduled for 11/17/25 between 8am–Noon. I prepared my home over the weekend and was ready for the appointment.
Shortly after 8am, I confirmed with the salesman, who said the installers were on their way. An hour passed with no arrival. I followed up again, then waited another two hours with no response. Only after reaching out a third time did I learn—without apology—that the installers were rescheduling because they were waiting on a missing part. No one contacted me proactively.
I decided to cancel the contract, and when I called in, the representative didn’t apologize or acknowledge the inconvenience. The indifference made it clear that Leaf Filter did not care about my business.
I really wanted these lights, but the stress and poor communication made it clear this wasn’t a company I could rely on. Based on my experience, I do not recommend doing business with Leaf Filter. -
Very thoughtful and presented completely all information required to make a decision. Communication was perfect with the company and Ian. Ian was exactly on time and fully prepared. Overall, a great encounter!
-
Ian was very knowledgeable and helpful with my decision to purchase leaf filter. His visit sealed the deal. Awesome experience. Holly was amazing as well.
-
Amazing service! Got a great price and super fast install date! Ian made it all so simple and answered all our questions in detail. Genuinely a great experience over all

Tre went above and beyond to be spectacularly efficient in each and every aspect of the process of how the leaf filter works, and how it affects my house,, the foundation, the wood, my basement, and my 600 square-foot deck. He was very respectful of my home and was also so friendly to my dogs. He was not a high pressure salesman. He was very genuine and I appreciated that very much.
if I could give him 10 stars out of five, I would do so. -
After listening to salesperson, Ted, for over three solid hours I did decide to replace my fairly new gutter system with thier product.
Ted worked his hardest to get me scheduled for that day, which was a Friday afternoon, even though I repeatedly told him I DO NOT want to be last customer before the weekend. They came anyway made a big mess and LEFT the big mess for myself to clean up. I found old clamps, a billion nails, string type material and normal gutter debris all over my yard like they were throwing it out of site. My lawn mower found it all.
Ted, employee from leaffilter was told about the mess from front of house and I was immediately referred to a different number and department.
..
Gutters less than 24 hours old and all I can ASSUME is, were they even installed professionally or just tacked up like the mess they left.
..
First photo is what I ran over with my lawn mower in back yard.
I'm not impressed.
No confidence in job performed either. -
The product does not work as advertised, especially for oak tassels. Their brochure specifically ‘GUARANTEES’ that Leaf Filter keeps out oak tassels. Well that is just as true as saying a solid sheet of metal also keeps out oak tassels. The wet oak tassels constantly stick and need cleaned off, something this product is supposed to eliminate. They turn into a thick wet mat that need to be scrapped off manually or else water won’t go through the grates. I called the company and they said a heavy rain would naturally wash them off, so I waited and ended up with a flooded basement, something that has never happened until I got Leaf Filter.
In their sales pitch after I specifically mentioned my concern with oak tassels, they responded that “they would send a team of engineers out right away to investigate because that has never happened before and they would be bewildered”. They also said that if the gutters happened to ever need cleaned to give them a call and they will send someone out for free. They came out for free the first time I called needing the oak tassels cleaned off, but the second time they said it would be a $100 fee. Now I’m no better off than just paying the typical gutter cleaning companies even after spending all this money to not have to clean the gutters.
The guy who installed the product was nice and did a quick job.
The other reviews already speak enough about the cost and, so I won’t elaborate on that except to say I’ll likely be needing to pay somebody to take these off. -
We had a Trimlight quote before meeting with Lauren, but after seeing the differences, Oelo clearly stood out. The superior brightness, customization options, and 100,000-hour lifespan versus 50,000 hours made the choice simple. When you combine that with the longer warranty backed by a well-established company, it was an easy decision. Lauren was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process seamless.

Installation went well. Crew did a good job. However when I asked for a receipt and copy of the gutter pictures I was told I get get them online when I registered the warranty. Ends up you do not register the warranty online and their is nowhere to download the receipt and pictures. Called customer support and they said they would ask the local office to email me the pictures and that I had to wait 10 days, then call customer support back to get my receipt. They need to get their story straight. Great work on the Installation, poor customer service afterwards.

Clayton did a fantastic job of explaining everything to us. He even took the time to come back out & explain everything again to my husband. Thanks to his expertise & the quality/cost of the outdoor lighting, we were able to schedule the install within a couple of days. I highly recommend Clayton as your sales rep.

Our gutter system is worse after hiring this company. Unless you want a second job becoming a gutter expert and given the run around to get your money back, I’d stay away. I’ve tried calling the Leaf Filter support line numerous times and they say they are escalating my concerns, but I’ve gotten nowhere. I called leaf filter after the first rain because our gutters were leaking. I set up service and had to call the support line days later to confirm everything was fixed. So I hired another company to repair our soffit and fascia as advised by our salesman, Luke Person. The other company said there was still standing water and debris in the gutters around where they were working. I requested a removal and refund at this point because the work wasn’t done. I made multiple calls to the support line and was sent back & forth between them and service. After multiple attempts they finally scheduled an inspection. Daniel, regional trainer, showed up to do an inspection for removal & refund and met with my husband. He said he could see that the installation was done improperly and he’d like to fix it for us. He didn’t get on our roof but stood on the back of our deck and said he could tell. We said we didn’t want his team working on our house and we requested a removal & refund. He said he’d write his report and send it over. He said he had a 100% customer success rate. We never heard anything back. A few days later, I called the service dept and was told that he closed the ticket saying we refused service. So I guess that’s what he means by a 100% success rate. We made more phone calls to the support line and we started the process all over again. Daniel gets sent out a second time to inspect for removal & refund. He was supposed to show up first thing in the morning while my husband was home but instead showed up after he left. He got on our roof this time. We have camera footage. Tucker Perkins, operations manager, calls me days later and said Daniel found no issues with our system and that he is unable to refund. I argued that there are multiple issues. Tucker stated that our downspouts must be the issue then. He said they were probably clogged and that that Leaf Filter doesn’t work on downspouts. We talked in circles and eventually agreed to disagree. I was upset as I’ve seen the standing water and debris in our system myself and took pics. Later found in our contract and advertisement that they were supposed to clean our downspouts during install… so guess that didn’t happen either. I called my husband to relay the message and he ended up going on our roof himself. The work was very sloppy and nothing was tightened down or repaired. He takes videos and pics. My husband calls Tucker Perkins multiple times and texts with no answer so my husband drove to the branch. Tucker admits that Daniel repaired our gutter system instead of inspecting it. My husband showed him a video of all visible issues on one part of our gutter system after Daniel fixed it. This conversation went nowhere as well. The next day, there’s a rainstorm. There is major water overflow and more leaks found after Daniel worked on our system. I went outside to verify all downspouts were working. I took pics and videos of all major water overflow and our gutters not working. We still haven’t been able to get our money back despite the money back guarantee written in our contract. I’ve made multiple more phone calls to the support line as well as emails to them. Tucker Perkins, operations manager, and Daniel, regional trainer, are working together to run an unethical business. Yes, I’ve contacted Leaf Filter stating all this to them and we haven’t had any resolution still. We started our initial request for removal and refund on 6/25/25. If you call the support line, they say someone will reach out in 24 hours. It takes days to hear back and the person who calls or emails you will not be able to help you.

I recently received a quote from Leaf Fitters and had a great experience working with Lauren Segelle. She was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions clearly. What stood out most was how well she catered to my military background and made sure I understood all available options and benefits. The entire process was smooth, transparent, and never felt rushed or pressured. I appreciated the honest conversation and strong customer service. Based on this experience, I would confidently recommend Leaf Fitters to others.

If you need service they charge a $95 service fee. Even though they are advertising a free quote right now. I have hail damage and need a quote for insurance to replace everything. I already paid them $2900. I can not escalate or talk to a manager no flexibility with the sales people. Tried several times. Very poor customer service policy for existing customers. Plus, I have had for 4 years and you still need to spend time every year unclogging the screens. Not as bad as full gutter clean out but with a high roof. Still have to pay someone. So, they send someone that does not speak any english. Gets on the roof shows me pictures and wants me to sign a satisfaction certificate that states many things. They did none of the things on the list. Maybe someone should look in to who they employ. After getting the covers removed, animals had chewed holes in several places that was not mentioned. Very disappointed.
