They have provided snow removal services for my church for several years now and I have been pleased with the job they have done.

just had a driver cut me off while going down Bannister while running a red light as I went thru my green light.

Steve Bauer was the designer and manager of our landscape project involving a patio with pavers, decorative cedar fencing and a fire-pit and spa. His experience and knowledge was invaluable. He listened to us and our ideas incorporating them into the design and stayed within our budget. Steve was meticulous in his work and very prompt in his replies to any questions we had. Steve and Embassy Landscape Group far exceeded our expectations in design, quality of workmanship and care taken to our property. Without a doubt, I would recommend Steve and Embassy Landscape Group to anyone wanting a quality job.

Never used their service, however as I was waiting to park at The Quick trip in Lenexa Kansas, one of their workers almost hit my car and then aggressively honked for me to move out of the way. I was waiting for the vehicle next to the parking spot that I was pulling into to close their door so could not move forward. This is very unprofessional and the company owner should be aware that even when services are not being offered, their employees represent them and I will be sure to not ever do business with them.

Aggressive drivers...
This morning was driving on I35 North and looks like this drivers are very aggressive tailgating people and cut people off in the highway to be exact was a small white Isuzu npr box truck over speeding and tailgating other drivers, this is the type of drivers causing that we all have a big risk to be in accidents because this aggressive drivers specially from this company, either the manager doesn't have safety meetings with this stupid drivers or they just don't care about what they are causing driving like this 3 cars almos in a wreck because this Isuzu box truck from this company close to liberty to be exact tailgating other cars in a commercial truck are you kidding me. Please have safety meetings with your drivers, accidents are a big deal. -
Salt truck driver purposely cut us off, while dumping salt on our car, almost hitting two different cars in the process along with me and my family. Driver was not paying attention and was on his phone. Contact the company and they basically tell me I'm wrong cause "they're our best driver they would never do that" horrible customer service. Never planned on using these guys but now I know I'm telling people to specifically avoid this company. Lucky there's no damage to my car.

Our HOA switched to Embassy Landscaping this year and it has been a great choice! The work that their staff has performed from mowing to pruning, and plant removal and installation far exceeds the service we have had in the past.
Our account manager Tony has been great to work with and is very responsive.
I am very happy with our choice and would recommend to anyone looking for exceptional service. -
Had our front yard completely redone last fall. We contracted with this company because our HOA has a contract with them. I thought it would be a good choice. I found them to be very responsive in the beginning and up to the point they got paid. However I’ve tried to contact them with concerns on the design of the landscape as it is sloping and not holding mulch in but Joe has ever responded once to me. So disappointing!

I really love the work that Embassy Landscape does. Chris is a great contact that knows what I need and I trust him to complete the work and it'll be a job well done.

Saw their plow weaving in and out of traffic at high speed almost causing an accident. You could find a monkey to do a better job than these jokers

We asked for a low maintenance, easy to manage garden using native plants that won’t attract deer.
After spending about 6 times our original budget we gave them, we now have a garden which has been high maintenance and stressful.
The deer focused on destroying one of the trees, even after telling them that this plant and only this plant was being attacked by deer, they refused to replace them with anything else. They were replaced under warranty with the same tree… which of course the deer destroyed, and we were told the warranty has been completed.
The guarantee for the plants was no help to us, they replace the plants that died in the same place with the same plants that simply died again…
So far 3rd of the trees planted are dead and the native grass patch is a complete mess, and it looks like the grass never came up.
The foreman didn’t turn up on quite a few occasions when he had arranged a time with us and or suppliers causing issues.
I have had two other gardens landscaped in the past, this has been easily the most expensive being more than double and the worst experience I have had. -
We have many communities using Embassy Landscape Group. I am very happy with the landscaping service we received. The team is professional, on time, and pays attention to detail. Chris is exceptional. He responds very quickly if ever needed. The pots look absolutely stunning – clean, fresh, and beautifully designed. They have brought our vision to life and even added a few creative touches throughout the communities. Highly recommend!

Driving down highway 635 and Metropolitan Ave, this Embassy Landscape truck came behind me so FAST he fish tailed almost hit me and went to the other slow lane, and even at the slow lane he went straight back into the fast lane zooming away. He drives so reckless in this winter storm when everyone is going 50 MPH so close I saw everything on my mirrors. There were 3 cars in front of me and the other lane had 1. Why do you guys hire such drivers/employee/mngr whoever that is in that truck. You do know that it is a winter weather storm and the city plowers drive even safer and slower than him. Happened at 11:30 Am 1/24/2026z His truck number is 385. I have a video of the truck for my safety and others during this time.

Embassy Landscape Group — especially Chris Cretel and his team — exceeded all of my expectations from start to finish. Chris was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my vision, offered creative suggestions, and delivered results that were even better than I imagined.
The attention to detail in their work is truly impressive — everything was completed with care and precision. My yard has been completely transformed, and I’ve already received tons of compliments from friends and neighbors.
What really stood out was Chris’s communication and dedication to customer satisfaction. I always knew what to expect, and he made sure I was thrilled with every step of the process.
If you’re looking for a landscaping company that combines craftsmanship, reliability, and genuine care, Embassy Landscape Group — and Chris Cretel — are the ones to call. Highly recommend! -
There was a very aggressive driver and tailgating me in the snow on January 24 2026. Driver of an embassy landscape plow truck was pushing it limit. A accident waiting to happen. I read these other comments about this company having aggressive driver. I believe it too cause it happen to me too. I say poor management to have these kind of people in their company. Do better or your company will be on the news one day. Don’t be shock

Lies and no integrity:
Aston there is amazing! She was the only reason we kept the contract as long as we did.
The leadership and account managers are the problem. Under bid contracts to get the service, then don't deliver. They wanted to charge me to get the ivy off the hous,e though ground cover was on the contract and had they been keeping up on the ivy it wouldn't have grown up the house.
They would break landscape lights and cut landscaping cables and not want to replace them, though they told me during the initial walk-through to just let them know. They did replace one or two. But then claimed they weren't responsible for cut cables or broken lights even though their guys are the only ones in our yard waving around leaf blowers and not paying attention. I don't necessarily blame the workers as I know this is hard to tell when you damage something. We had 5 lights go, and they said their team could find new ones and replace them, 5 months later, I was still waiting.
I had to escalate to the owner who said they couldn't do the lighting work, another lie they told me. We had a professional light company come out, and they found 10 lights that were not broken and cut cords. I don't hold Embassy responsible for the lights that malfunction, but I do for the lights that are physically broken.
They also neglected ivy on the ground, causing trip hazards.
They breached their contract by abruptly stopping service when I told them I would cancel.
I would highly recommend not using due to their unprofessionalism, breach of contract & unethical business practices. -
I’ve had the opportunity to work with Embassy for the past few years, and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. William consistently goes above and beyond to meet our needs and tackle landscaping challenges, Jo Ann’s attention to detail truly makes everything look amazing, and MariClaire is so friendly and prompt in her responses. We couldn’t ask for a more positive partnership than the one we have with Embassy!

I always thought this company was highly regarded, as you see their trucks run around the metro doing seemingly good work. However, their recent acquisition of multiple massive snow contracts from a highly respected company would tell otherwise. Prior to this acquisition, there had been many contractors working on hundreds of properties throughout the community for many years, doing the best job they could, held to the highest standard, putting forth their fullest effort, and completely committed to keeping the clients happy, and more importantly the customers that come into those businesses safe.
Once this acquisition occurred, these contractors that committed many hours, sometimes 50 straight, day and night, were left in the dark. This company ignored, disregarded, and completely disbanded the very group of contractors that enabled these small, and many large companies, to stick around for many, many years prior.
Follow up is not necessary to them, and when contacted, this company will ultimately give you no answer or reasoning. Contracts are one thing, but integrity is what matters. This company is ostensibly for profit. They lack virtue, decency and sincerity. I would not recommend them to anyone. -
Working with Zach and his crew at Hinkle Hardscapes was one of the greatest home project experiences we have ever had. Very easy to work with, great communication, and care about the project they were doing for us. We had them upgrade our existing plain concrete patio by expanding its size, layed pavers and they also added in a seating wall with built in fire pit. Pics will come once we get the furniture in place.
-
I would label our project with Hinkle Hardscapes as "massive." And going in, we were extremely nervous. However, once the team got started, we knew we were in good hands. They were extremely professional, courteous, and reliable. They showed up and left consistently, and cleaned up materials on a daily basis. Our project turned out beautiful and would not hesitate recommending Hinkle Hardscapes to friends and relatives.

Hinkle took our patio idea and made it a dream come true. From start to finish their communication, technology, and team were all first class. We were hesitant to wait a few months while in the project queue, but we were so glad we were patient. The project started and completed on time and exactly at the budget/proposal we were given. No surprises! We have already had neighbors ask who did our patio and now they are starting to dream a little themselves. Spend the money and do it right with high end products and a top level hardscape KC company like Hinkle.
