We have recently purchased a home in the Sunburst Hills neighborhood and decided to use Freelance Electric Inc., a local business based in the same neighborhood, for several adaptations we wanted to have done in our new home.
Freelance Electric Inc. is a family business, easily accessible and comfortable to work with.
Mrs. Alyssa Thompson, who schedules assignments, prepared a fair estimate and found a convenient date for us for all necessary operations. She has been understanding and patient with us even when in the last moment we have changed our minds about the scope of work and specific aspects of the requested job.
Her husband Chris and his co-worker appeared on the venue exactly as scheduled and completed all required assignments, also finding the last-minute solutions that helped us to save some bucks. He also gave us helpful information and a good number of explanations about the electrical system of our new home.
We will be continuing engaging Mr. Thompson in other our remodeling projects and yes, we are ready to recommend the Freelance Electric Inc. to a friend…

I first met Chris from Freelance when he was a subcontractor for our deck replacement and was impressed with his patience and professionalism with a particularly ornery county inspector. So when it came time to install ceiling fans, and replace internal and external light fixtures they were my first call. Chris came out, gave us an estimate and fit us into the schedule during a pretty busy summer. The crew showed up on time, made quick work of the job, and when an unforeseen complication arose, managed to come back the next day. Would highly recommend for any electrical work you need doing.

Chris has worked on our property every time an electrical issue has come up over the years. He does great work at a fair price. Highly recommend. 👍

Update: February 19, 2021 (Friday) -

2nd Review: I contacted Freelance Electric to install the final circuit in our generator transfer switch to the main panel after we finally decided which of the last circuit should power in case of an outage. I contacted Alyssa and advised the issue and she was able to get us scheduled for the install in a very short time frame and she updated us with email and text for updates etc. (great customer service and communication!) Then today, Chris and Andy arrived for the install 2 hours earlier than expected which was awesome and they immediately installed the circuit for the transfer switch and were done in a very short time frame with excellent and professional work with a great amount of attention to detail. Once again, I can’t say enough about this family owned business - great service and done right the first time with fair honest pricing... Our family will be using them for all future projects!!

1st Review: January 19, 2021 (Tues) -
Freelance Electric installed in our home a 10 circuit 30 amp transfer switch for our generator. The entire project from start to finish was excellent and extremely professional. Chris, Alyssa and Andy were helpful with everything from the estimate, ordering parts, communication, timely arrival, excellent installation and clean up. In my opinion Freelance Electric is the best electrical contractor to use especially if you are up in the Foothills (Bailey, Conifer, etc). We could not be happier with the experience and the final completion of our project. We plan on using them for our future electrical projects. A++ Service!!

Freelance Electric was great. Professional all the way through, got me in quick, friendly and reasonable on price. I plan to use them for any electrical needs and recommend to friends.

All I can say is WOW!!! ABSOLUTELY better than 5 stars!! Alyssa and Chris are definitely two of the most professional people I have met is YEARS!! I called several contractors and most of them NEVER EVEN bothered to call me back, much less actually arrive at our residence. BUT, when I called Freelance Electrical, an appointment was made and everything fell into place perfect. It just doesn't get any better than this. Chris's workmanship was just perfect!! And scheduling just couldn't have been any more accurate. I can promise you if I need ANY electrical work performed, I will be sure to call Freelance Electrical first. MANY thanks again!!!!

Alyssa and Chris were both absolutely amazing. She was pleasant, thorough and made sure everything was in order before Chris was even on site. He arrived on time and after a couple hours, had my charger up and running. Highly recommended!

Background: I just bought a recently renovated home with new electrical and the circuits were tripping very frequently. Chris was timely and efficient in diagnosing the issue and within that same day/hour, he had the issue resolved. The fix was simple so he kept it simple - Good work at a fair price! (At 7 feet tall, he could have charged me anything he wanted to and I wouldn’t have argued). I appreciated the professionalism of this family company and would recommend for your electrical needs.

Chris was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and saved me an enormous amount of time and money on my new pool lighting installation. Our experience was awesome, his wife was very sweet and had great communication. Chris was super cool and knowledgeable. We have been charging our car so far with absolutely no problem or fires lol. We're also hiring him again to add some outlets. They were awesome

We were having issues with our home electrical outlets and experiencing brown outs. When calling we talked to Alyssa, she was very kind, informative and professional. Her husband Chris the electrician was able to come the same day. When arriving he was very polite and listened to all our concerns and immediately began checking everything. We live in the Pace area and they were absolutely wonderful people! Alyssa (who helped with scheduling) was so lovely and answered ANY questions I had. Chris put in two outlets so quickly and gave us such a good (and reasonable) price that we couldn’t pass him up! He also helped diagnosing our fan flickering situation on-site. Got the estimate the next day, signed the contract and got the installation appointment in under two weeks instead of months as with most other services (if they want to do the job at all).
