Fantastic business. Walked in as a non contractor to a very friendly and helpful staff. They had the 30+5 capacitor I needed and answered questions I had about installation. Our A/C is blowing cold, I learned a lot, I saved $$$ and my girlfriend is impressed. That's a win fellas.

I wish they were open a couple hours on Saturday or just one hour earlier or later on Friday to buy tools and parts for myself as a tech. I like supporting local businesses but this makes it really hard.

Bought from them for many years, bad attitudes and etiquette over the phone, which I can put up with. Last straw was I had a break on factory tubing, leaked all the refrigerant out, they said the warranty doesn't cover the loss of refrigerant or reimburse for repair cost. It was an area they knew had a tendency to fail as well, a floppy tube extension for high pressure switch. A lot of the Ruud equipment isn’t of great quality over recent years. Won’t install it anymore.

I called first to order the parts I needed for my hvac system. I spoke with Chris who helped me get the right part the first time with a few simple questions. It’s hard to find someone who can do that. He meet me when I came in and had the parts waiting. Made my repair even easier

My condenser fan went out over the holidays. I’m absolutely not an HVAC guy and know very little. I spent hours looking online trying to find a replacement with no luck. When Johnston reopened I called and spoke with Chris. He was absolutely awesome. Not only did he find me the correct replacement in minutes, he took the time to answer all of my questions. The big kicker….they were as cheap or cheaper than I could order online. I can’t recommend them enough!

They were very helpful finding a gas valve for an older water heater for me. I’ve got hot water again and everyone is happy!

I’ve had very good luck with Johnstone supply and their employees are friendly and willing to go above and beyond to get my customers the parts that they need so that they’re heating and air-conditioning equipment is working in a timely manner. I appreciate these guys very much. they help me run, numerous calls in a day with the parts that I need

Does not do free estimates as advertised. Asked them to come give us an estimate and then they charged us for a service call. Beware.

Pros, they were clean , did the job in fact, was a small problem after it was installed, they came out on a Saturday morning and fixed it right away. i was impressed.
