TruGreen came and applied fertilizer and pre-emergent on my lawn today. The gentleman came and knocked on the door to let me know he would be taking care of my yard today. Super nice, exceptional work polite, and he go right to work. My back yard is a mess, so I am really looking forward to the changes this company will be able to help me make!

Devin is a great tech. Asked if I had any concerns or questions about our lawn. Very efficient and thorough in his treatment of our yard.

Was not satisfied with the outcome of the service to my lawn. I was told it should leave in a few days. Not happy.

We also get shrub maintenance. Service sort of dumped on us because our original service company went out of business. After two years of service and personal experiences, I can safely say we are going to continue with TruGreen for at least another year or two. They call you a day or two before they are scheduled to come, and leave a service receipt for services applied. Came back a couple of times because of some damn "summer grass" or whatever it is that appears every Spring. They seemed concerned, but remember it is the service agent that does the work, and we have been very pleased with them. Good luck!

The absolute worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. The WORST! I am upset that I even have to rate them a 1 (St Charles Missouri Branch). Do you yourself a favor and stay very far away from this office, here is why:
1- The amount of weeds in the lawn is unbelievably horrible looking (I have worked with Lawn DR and Weedman for years and Tru Green service and quality pails in comparison). See attached picture! What a disaster!!!
2 - They have charged me the wrong amount 3 times in 3 months.
3 - They charged me claiming they did a seed and aeration on my lawn - they did not - in fact my home is being renovated and a pool put in the back - 75% of what was my lawn is dirt. They did not seed and aerate!!! yet charged me for it!
4- They went 10 weeks between applications. If I hadnt called them to inquire when my service would take place - I dont think they ever would have showed up!
5 - I have called them 4 times now (you can not call the local branch only a national call center) and asked to have a manager call me - I have done this 4 times now and even asked the service tech to please have the manager call me - this is the 4th week and I have yet to receive a phone call. Last week the women i spoke with in the call center promised she would contact the manager ASAP and have her call me - still waiting!!!

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Tru Green!!! I can not think of a worse customer service experience and such poor quality experience in the past 10 years!! The absolute worst!!!

I’m looking forward to seeing the results of treatment by Tru green after my annual plan. So far so good.

We've been a Trugreen customer since 2011 but I'm (trying) to cancel our service. 2 months ago, I used their website to enroll in auto pay. Their website showed we are on autopay. But we received a letter a few days ago warning us that our payment is past due. Their website says it is not. You cannot speak to anyone who can help at all. All you get is some "customer service" rep in Bangladesh or somewhere who speaks very broken English and can only apologize, not fix the issue. I'm beyond frustrated and moving on to a different company.

Apparently 50% off your first "application" means they only treat 50% of your yard...

**EDIT** They came and retreated after the unacceptable first "application," if I can even call it that. They sprayed a huge hose of liquid on a gusty day and now half my garden is dead. I'm talking edible herb garden, Catnip, mint, and all my delicate rubbery plants like bleeding hearts and Peonys. Completely unacceptable, God only knows what my young trees planted in the middle if the yard will look like in a few weeks. If I wanted to kill my stuff, I couldn't done it myself for a whole lot cheaper. If I could take away stars I would.

Treatments were rushes, spots were missed consistently. They provided a re-service to correct the missed spot at the end of the summer which resolved most of the spots that I had marked which proves those spots had been missed multiple times before.

The tech Daryl J is the kind of employee any company will be proud to have representing them. He goes above and beyond

Horrible company. We canceled them but they still came out for service. We didn't pay it so they sent us to collections. Please be aware. You can never cancel this company or you will pay for it. Keep in mind we canceled them for poor service and no results and missed treatments.

I gave TruGreen 3 years to fix my lawn. This was at 7 treatments/year, $50 per treatment. Do the math. They killed half my lawn twice, including after a complete sod job. It's my fault for putting trust in them to repair it for this long, I should have dropped them after the first kill. This last attempt was met with empty promises and zero return calls by Paul Ritter. I had much better luck treating my own lawn at 1/8th the price.

My technician was excellent, but unfortunately, my lawn isn’t doing well. I’m not sure how it happened, but I’ve noticed Water Grass growing on three-quarters of my grass. I’ve never had this type of grass attack these areas before. Was there something you used that caused this type of grass to grow? Could you please continue treating this condition, perhaps with another product, until it’s gone? I also have patches blank patches whee I thought grass would grow. I was expecting to see new growth in these areas. Otherwise, I’m a dissatisfied customer because of this incident, only. Other than this, I’ve been most satisfied with the specialist and the administration team.

1st visit with TruGreen Great Experience! Super Nice, Friendly and Knowledgeable tech Everything was explained and directions given on when dogs could be let out and gate was closed when they left!

Original review: Started my service with them and they did the "pre emergent weed treatment". Here is what it looks like 3 weeks later. According to my dad he only observed them spraying 20 to 30% of the entire property, if that. I now have one small chunk of grass that is weed free (where my dad said they sprayed). I am attempting to talk to customer service and the wait is 2 hours. BEWARE! ALSO TAKE A LOOK AT ALL MY OTHER REVIEWS. Nothing is 1 star.

The service I received today was excellent. The gentleman that handled my lawn was very considerate and very understanding for my desire for him to please be careful and cautious not to spray the flower beds. That was so greatly appreciated. We have used true green for years and it helps keep our yard looking better. They are always professional and on time. They often send the same technician who treats our yard as if it is his. We appreciate how Maurice went above and beyond this time!
