There are not enough words to express my thanks to Paul Davis’ employees Eddie and Demarcus! I experienced a very kind, understanding and supportive pair of men that made a nasty basement sewer cleanup bearable. After spending two days with Eddie and Demarcus I feel like they are friends leaving after a visit. We departed with a hug and handshakes. You will not be disappointed if Eddie and Demarcus come to your house giving you their expertise. My project manager Devin was equally kind, helpful and reassuring that all would be okay. Thank you, thank you!

I want to express my sincere thanks to Devin Dale and Paul Davis Restoration for their outstanding work on my Downtown Clayton commercial property. Devin and his team were incredibly responsive, kept me well-informed with regular updates, and impressed me with their quick & efficient service. They also displayed excellent communication and professionalism when working with my building tenants and minimizing disruptions during operational hours. I highly recommend Devin Dale and Paul Davis Restoration for any restoration needs.

Paul Davis Restoration of St. Louis did an outstanding mediation of our water issues due to sump pump failure. The team was led by Paola, a super hard worker and excellent leader who took charge of the remediation project. She deserves an A Plus for her dedicated work ethic and leadership skills. Lina did a supportive job and worked diligently; she earned a B for her talents. Sam and Thurston worked at removing carpet and heavy lifting but took more breaks; they earned a C Plus. Thanks, Paul Davis crew, for eliminating water, moisture, and mold from our basement.

Brandon (our mitigation manager) and his crew (Abdi, Avery and Thurston) were TOTALLY AWESOME)!!!! They were extremely courteous, proffessional and expedient in their work. Not very often that you see young men that have these kind of ethics these days.

Hopefully, we will never have to use a service of this kind again, but if we do, it will definitely be Paul Davis!! This team was awesome

First “disaster” if been involved in and had no idea what to expect from mitigation team. Quite frankly I wasn’t expecting what I got.
Devin and his team (Paula) from Paul Davis were great. I had a ton of questions regarding what to expect and what they were going to do and everything got answered.
Execution of the plan (getting everything dry) went as planned. Drywall was removed, sections of carpet and hardwood floor was removed and air circulators and dehumidifiers were placed. What a mess. BUT… they cleaned it up and made things orderly while the drying was taking place. After the drying was finished, they came back and removed everything that was used for drying. There were plenty of other things they did to get to the end process and it was all done very professionally.
Where can I put 6 stars?
I just hope the rebuild process goes as well.

Update 5/7/25 - I would no longer recommend this business unfortunately. Multiple calls and texts went unreturned. The job wasn't completed and unfortunately I was sent to collections erroneously. When I called to ask what the confusion was @ Paul Davis there was little empathy for their mistake and more of a focus on how to get the bill paid. I was misled to believe it was my insurance company's error yet magically they sent the notice to the insurance company right after I called 😀. I also left a message to chat with RJ and was either gate-kept or he didn't call back. All over $177 😆

Devin and Darius were amazing to work with. They responded quickly and explained the entire process, solution and timing it would take to complete the job. Devin had a trainee with him the 1st day and did a great job of walking him through the entire process while also giving him the ability to give his thoughts on the job and what was needed, which showed great leadership skills. Can’t thank them enough for their patience and effective communication working around my schedule to ensure the job got done. Would highly recommend them and this company for anyone dealing with restoration needs.

Great response time, accessed what I asked them to and addressed the issues quickly and safely.

The three people who did the actual cleanup work in our basement were great. The problem I have with this company is that they originally quoted me 1/3 of what the final billed amount would be. The final quote coincidentally happened to be just over what MSD allows for clean-up charges and again was three times what they quoted at the outset. By the time I was told this, they were already cleaning up our basement. I would not recommend this company.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Paul Davis Restoration of Metro West St. Louis. From the beginning, communication was nonexistent. They promised to contact me regarding updates on my restoration project, but I never heard from them. Despite repeated attempts to reach out, my calls and messages went unanswered, leaving me completely in the dark.

They accepted payments from both my insurance company and myself without any follow-up or transparency on the next steps. After a long period of waiting, they finally assigned a subcontractor to complete the restoration, and thankfully, the subcontractor was excellent. But even with a competent subcontractor, the lack of communication from Paul Davis was unprofessional and incredibly frustrating.

If you value communication and professionalism, I highly recommend you **DO NOT use this company**. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere!

Demarcus, Sam, Josh, and everyone else at Paul Davis have been absolutely amazing throughout this entire ordeal. They have made this very stressful situation as smooth and easy as possible. We’ve used them twice now for our flooded basement, and have been beyond satisfied both times. They are very thorough and very considerate of your time, money, and property.

Perfect from the 1 st call to the company, Katie was great, to the end of the clean up. The crew was wonderful couldn't recommend any one better! Made a horrible problem into a happy ending! Paul Davis is the best, prompt, dependable, respectful of your home and belongings, They know how to get the job done right!

PaulDavis showed up within an hour of my call. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable, proficient and most importantly friendly. The guys (all three) gave me their cards in case I had questions (which I didn't); but it was nice to know I at least had a way to personally reach someone (no call center, no out of state location- real people, real close). All of the team I met live and work locally, have over a decade of industry experience each and made the whole process as easy as possible.

Following up after a catastrophic sump pump failure Justin helped us with. Still quick and quality service. Yorman Z. and Juan did an excellent job with the removal today. They answered the few questions I had and went above and beyond with the clean up. Thank you so much for making this mess so easy to deal with!

Clean up and removal teams were excellent! However their reconstruction division needs some serious help. It's been 2 months and we've received no assistance from them getting our basement back in order. I've reached out several times and did miss a callback (2 weeks ago). I returned the call, but no response.

If you just need cleanup give them a call. If you need new work or repairs done I wouldn't waste your time here.

Everyone has been so professional . Shannon has walked me through every step , kept me informed of what’s coming next and helped me navigate through all of the paperwork on the computer ! All of the Crews have been hardworking , professional & respectful . However, the Mitigation team , led by Crew Chief Damon , Lead Tech Demarkys & Myson were a breath of fresh air in today’s world! They were not only awesome at their job, they were so personable and you can tell they love their job. This has been a hard time but Paul Davis has made it as easy as possible to get through. Thanks to all the different crews!

First let me say I had never heard of Paul Davis Restoration until my sump pump broke and the basement flooded. I called my homeowners Ins. company an spoke to the adjuster, she ask if I had a water mitigation company or wanted her to contact someone I told her to go ahead. A short time later I was contacted by Devin who was project manager and team leader of the mitigation crew, he took moisture readings and pictures of the damage and said his crew would be out next morning. They were there on time and got right to work, there was a lot of stuff had to be moved and covered as it's a full finished basement. this 4 man crew consisted of Eddie crew chief, Damarkus lead tech, Myson and Mark techs. They got right to work they all knew what they were supposed to do and worked great together. It took 2 days to remove carpet cut 2 ft. off bottom of all drywall, set up 30 blowers and dehumidifiers that had to run for 48 hours. They came back picked up their equipment and made sure everything was cleaned up. They did a GREAT JOB, worked hard, were all very polite an courteous and on time. Last night I was contacted by Paul Davis repair project manager who is coming today to prepare for next step. I'll write a review for them when it's all done. I hope it goes as well as part 1 did. Thank You for the work you did.

Wow!!! The service and thorough water damage mitigation provided by the team from Paul Davis was superb!! Eddie and Yorman were professional, took every effort to prevent dust and debris from getting on the floors and furniture, and we're friendly!! I highly recommend this company and would gladly use them again if necessary!!

Juan and his crew were wonderful after our house fire. Lots attention to detail and worked hard to complete the job!

Late July my finished basement flooded with sewer water. Davis was recommended by my insurance but I checked out other services as well. They were the best estimate but I was skeptical. Well they were GREAT. Arrived on time, called often, worked fast and carefully. The best was how well they treated each other and my family. They were courteous and polite to EACH OTHER AND TO my family. Devin Dale make the work very clear and kept crew on schedule but the way the crew worked together was astounding. Kayden Solomon, Eddie c. , Samuel L., and Thurston Collier were superb. I ran crews of as many as 25 and rarely saw such cooperation hard work and harmony. Good Job!!

My aunt and Uncle's house was impacted by the tornado on March 16. Paul Davis was called to do the cleaning and restoration work at their house. Technicians Juan and Jose boarded two windows in a very professional and careful way, and Paula, Lina and Louis cleaned affected area thoroughly and helped cleaning the debris from the inside of the piano carefully to the best of their effort. I am leaving this review on behalf of my aunt Jane & uncle mark. This business is a well-run business that provides the best service.

Paul Davis' team did a terrific job cleaning up glass and debris in my home after the tornado. Juan/Raymar/Luis/Lina worked one day, the following day Juan/Raymar/Dario worked in my home. They were very detailed and thorough in cleaning. Addionally, they were very careful with my items in my home, listened to my concerns about the situation and respectful to my concerns. I could not have asked for a better crew, I was very impressed! Thank you Paul Davis.
