Straight Up Solar is clearly an elite solar company - if you want the best with a highly professional concierge team - would definitely go with Straight Up. I was extremely impressed with the company's organization, interactions, and professionalism - its clearly a top-notch operation. The coordination, planning, implementation, explanation and support are among the very best service companies. Combine that with top of the line hardware and it's a winning combination. We received 3 bids and Straight Up was competitive, so we went with them based on reputation - very glad we did. Looking good and looking forward to many years of lowering our house's energy demands and helping reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

Our original installer in 2013, closed their company. In 2019 we needed some warranty work and contacted StraightUp Solar. They immediately adopted us and have been taking great care of us ever since.

They answered my phone call and sent an email to assure me they were on the question about my issue. Which was not an issue after all. Nico was very helpful and reassuring. I've had my panels for 7 years and am very satisfied and delighted with my power bills.

Straight Up Solar removed 6 solar panels to allow roof repair and then returned to reconnect the panels. The work was done in.a timely fashion when scheduled. When they ran into a shortage of parts for a 12 year old solar system, they had to extend the timeline but gave me a $100 discount due to the delay. I mean, what company does that today? Great customer service. I will definitely use them for continued maintenance and panel cleaning.

Unfortunately many solar companies lean towards the sketchy side. Fortunately, StraightUp is not one of those companies. We had them replace an inverter last year and it worked fine for about a year, then it quit and triggered an error code. The service crew came out and were on the roof for a bit, and when they were done, we were told no charge as it was due to an installation error. Mistakes happen, and I am ok with that, especially when the company owns up to it and fixes the issue at no charge. This is especially impressive since I am not an electrician, and would have had no idea it was an installation error unless they informed me. Kudos to the repair crew and kudos to the Service Project Manager for also proactively following up with more details. This place is super professional, and I highly recommend them for your solar needs.

When we had our roof shingles replaced due to their damage in a hail storm, we had our solar panels removed for the roofing work and then reinstalled upon completion of the roofing work. The StraightUp Solar workers did an excellent job with both tasks. They were very efficient in their work and completed the tasks within the schedule and cost they gave us. After the reinstallation they tracked our solar system to ensure it was operating properly. I rate their customer service as outstanding!

I have several solar systems at a number of locations. I've worked with more than one company. I am pleased with StraightUp. Office management is very attentive. The field technicians are knowledgeable and work efficiently. The sales staff is respectful and listen to detail. Their repair and service prices are reasonable. This is the company I will be using for the foreseeable future.

Quality design and installation.

Phil, one of the design employees, will design a small system if I need it. That was well.

System is over seven months old and not working properly. They come out, and still not working properly. Then they don't show up for months.

Great people to work with ,, shortly after system was up and running part malfunctioned they were on it fast, fixed and under warrentee .. no problems since . Highly recomend them

They chase you to get the contract and pay $2000 for a non-refundable deposit and sign an LOI. After I paid the deposit and they did a site visit, I did not hear from anyone and there was absolutely no communication. After I ended up getting a hold of them, they said the agreed price would most likely increase. I tried to get my $2000 deposit back and I had to chase them and even spoke with the owner. They refused to refund the deposit because it was apparently “non-refundable”. Please BEWARE.

Our experience with EFS was fantastic! Austin was so helpful and answered all of my questions along the way (I had a lot!). The process was painless because EFS took care of everything. LOVE our panels and love EFS.

We had our system installed three years ago and what I appreciate the most is that their projections were practically spot on. I expected a vast oversell, but they were on the money.

About 18 months in, our inverter died. I didn’t catch that until a couple of weeks later, but as I called in, they said the part had arrived. Next day, they swapped it out, no hassle, no charge (warranty). Their monitors had caught the problem and ordered a replacement on my behalf. Nice!

I had solar panels installed on my flat roofed Saint Louis City home in August, 2013. All of the contracting, licensing and permits were handled by Earth First and the installation was tidy, timely and professional. I have been very satisfied with the production from the system, which included a recent 3 months running during which my total Ameren bill was $0.00.

My entire experience with EFS Energy has been nothing short of spectacular. My Energy Consultant, Austin Richards, walked me through the entire process and answered every single question I had. It was really cool to see the computer software show an overlay of my roof and calculate the energy production of each individual solar panel to maximize the efficiency for my specific property. The solar panel installers had all 23 solar panels up in a single day. They were immediately followed by Jeremy Weeke and his crew from Weeke Sales and Service who are true craftsman in their trade and made all the electrical connections neat and clean. Once Ameren approved everything, my solar panels were switched on and I am now up and running. This has been a lifelong goal of mine and this process was so simple and easy for me and was better than I could have dreamed for.
