Of all the company owned cars driving on the roads these days, these are top notch and always clean. The employees pilotting these vehicles are courtesy. Just the other day I got cut off by a young kid in a blue hellcat. An Ideal truck driver must have saw it happen because when we locked eyes he smiled, gave me a head nod, and let let me go in front of him. *stay classy Ideal* 😘

Got cut off by one of these trucks making a left turn on a red light from the straight lane. Absolutely unsafe and ridiculous. I would avoid hiring a company that could seriously injure someone trying to get to the jobsite

Ken never sent estimate or bothered to call me back, guess he didn't want my business.

Quote from inspector after 6 years and 4 months of installation: "The large man made stone retaining wall at the rear yard appears to be poorly constructed and portions have settled and are leaning or bulging." Be weary of hiring someone whose work is described as such by an inspection company after only being installed for 6 years.

Accel did our patio and retaining wall several years ago and the work is still beautiful. We had some unconventional ideas and Ken worked with us to turn it into exactly what we wanted.

My neighbor and I hired Ken last year to build a retaining wall on both our properties. It took several months to get them to start our project. After they showed up and Built the wall, Ken collected his check before he did his final grading and said he would be back to pick up the leftover stones and do the finish grading at that time. They left a large pile of dirt sitting on the property nextdoor with all the leftover stone they didn’t use. It’s been more than a month and no Ken. I made several attempts at trying to contact Ken and no reply. This guy does not communicate well with his costumers. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this company doesn’t deserve a good review. Buyer beware!

We had an major 85 foot long erosion problem with drainage issues and washout from under our artificial lawn as well as a steep rock hillside that needed repair and new sod. Accel's owner had great communication and a plan laid out. The gentleman that did all the work (in extreme heat too!) was friendly, timely and was very hard-working and never took breaks. I would highly recommend them to anybody and certainly use them again.

Our new retaining wall looks fabulous!! Ken Henry and his Accel Landscaping crew did an awesome job. Ken listened to our ideas and did a great job of making the finished project look just as we had envisioned. They were very professional and respectful of our property. They always tried to keep the entire site - dirt and material neat, and cleaned the street and driveways when ever they could. When the wall was finished, they washed the wall and graded the entire area then installed sod so our project is ready for plants and lighting this spring. Great job. Wonderful, professional people to work with.

I had Ken do a pretty large project at my home in South County over ten years ago. It involved a lot of relatively high-wall terracing and other retaining walls. The work has held up very well. Ken gave me a ten year warranty on his work, but I've never needed to use it. I am only putting in this post all these years later because this morning some neighbors who liked my stonework asked who did it and I was looking up Ken's contact info for them online and saw other comments, so I thought I'd chime in. My nephew had Ken do work at his home too and he is very happy with how it turned out.

They are the best will recommend for everybody there just so good at there job will want there work for a long time

JE Landscaping always does my outside work. They recently completed a full yard cleanup and extended a paver patio in my backyard. They always use the highest quality products and their attention to detail is amazing. I highly recommend them for any outside project you might have.

I needed to replace an old shed and an aging timber retaining wall. While I was confident, I could handle assembling the shed myself, I knew I needed a professional team to construct the retaining wall. I reached out to five different landscaping companies in the St. Louis County area for quotes. After speaking with Tom Johnson from Quiet Village Landscaping, I felt confident I had found the right team for the job. Tom was easy to talk to, highly knowledgeable, and clearly experienced in his trade. He designed the ideal retaining wall for my project and provided a fair and transparent quote. Once I accepted the proposal, Kayylee Klestinske quickly scheduled a crew—Zach, Jacob, and Aaron—who began work within two weeks. Despite working long days in 90-degree heat and navigating around thunderstorms, the team built a retaining wall that was both solidly constructed and aesthetically pleasing. Shortly after completion, a heavy storm brought 1½ inches of rain in just two hours, which caused some erosion around the wall. Quiet Village responded promptly and professionally. They sent out Loise G. and Rene S. to reinforce the area with additional rock, topsoil, and fresh sod to ensure the project was completed to the highest standard. The final result is truly outstanding. I couldn’t be more pleased. The new retaining wall not only supports my shed perfectly but also enhances the overall look of my yard. Neighbors have already commented on how great it looks. I’m so glad I chose Quiet Village Landscaping. Retaining Wall "completed" yesterday. Aesthetics - judge for yourself these green and white pipes (not only odd but also not matching color) unevenly spaced throughout the wall. No formal design, conflicting communications here and there. Trying to figure out why there was space left between the existing fence and the wall found county requirements and learned that in spite of PM assuring permit would not be needed due to height - it would be required based on 2 criteria of the construction I am seeing plus the zoning request - both needed to start the construction which was obviously not done. Brought it to PM's attention. He suggested that if I wanted that addressed I should come up with $1.6K more money for permit paperwork plus any expenses in case inspector wants to bring it to Code and he is likely to require them to rebuild the whole thing. Drainage work that was also part of the contract - only half of the scope "done" and no intent to complete the rest. Asked the PM 5 times to not grass the wall as I have plantings waiting and the whole wall was seeded. Wish there was an option for less than 1 star.
