I had issues with my ac not cooling well. Our house was up to 85° even at night. I called Air Design and they were out the SAME day. The technician got to it immediately and quickly figured out the issue. Now I'm back to being comfortable and practically freezing from the ac 😂

Customer service (Alice) and the field technician (Tyler) get 5 stars. Both were friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. My air conditioner was up and running again within 3 hours of my initial call. Thank you!!

Tyler is one of the best guys to fix your HVAC. The entire company is great from the initial call to the finished repair! Thanks!

Super nice people all the way from Alice (front desk) to those doing the service calls. They will do their best to fit you in if you have a problem. Always on time!😊

I called after hours with a non-emergency and was called back almost immediately and saw Jeff the very next day. I had an estimate later that day and a unit was ordered and installed within a week and a half. Again, this was a non-emergency and I was in no rush but was happy to have my AC unit replaced and up and running in such a short amount of time. Thank you!!

The technician got there on time, was very knowledgeable and efficient. I have used them for the past 15 years and never had any negative issues.

They were Great and came out on a Sunday when our AC went out. My wife is handicapped and the heat index was over 100 so it was a must to get the system going again. They came out and in no time got us cooled off quickly and visited about how to improve our system operation. Knowledgeable technician, friendly, and professional. Great Company.

On Saturday our A/C quit working. We have used Air Design in the past, so we phoned them. Air Design was closed and gave the option to leave a message. We received a phone call back from Tyler and discussed possible issues and options. He informed us of the difference between the charge for an Emergency Service Call and waiting for regular hours on Monday. We chose to proceed with an Emergency Service Call. Tyler informed us when he expected to arrive and also explained the HVAC Unit might not be able to be repaired due to parts availability.
Arriving on time, Tyler quickly assessed the issue and informed us of different options and an estimated cost for the repair. He was able to quickly repair the unit with the parts he had brought.
Tyler was friendly and knowledgeable, informing us of the repair process, showing us which parts he was replacing, and an estimated time frame for the repair.
This wasn't the first time we had met Tyler. About 3 years ago, after a friend of mine came over to "fix" my heater and cut all the wires inside the unit and was unable to rewire it, we called Air Design and they sent Tyler. He was able to rewire the entire unit and actually fix the real issue. I wish I had a picture of the mess of wires that had to be repaired! We are amazed at his knowledge!
Thank you Air Design and THANK YOU TYLER! -
Last week we got a new HVAC installed. We can't say enough about how great they were!! Very friendly and professional. Only took about 2 1/2 hours to install. And they cleaned up everything afterwards. We highly recommend Air Design for any work that you might need!

Air Design technician Tyler performed maintenance and service for out trade hvac.
He did an outstanding job and explaining the process very well.
I am extremely pleased with their service and results oriented company. -
Air Design recently installed the HVAC system for our new home construction. We got several bids and ended up choosing Air Design for several reasons. Jeff, the Sales and Operations Manager, was wonderful to work with, very patient with our questions, and available at all phases of the process. Due to the layout of our home, we had some unique needs: open concept home with vaulted ceilings, the need for several zones, & building on a slab and wanting to be able to conceal the ductwork as much as possible. Mark, the Project Manager (and design expert!), was amazing! His plan for the HVAC system was far superior to those offered by other companies we received bids from. He took the time to listen to us, and his years of experience were so helpful when it came to offering suggestions for hiding the ductwork and meeting the multiple zoning needs. We have already referred this company to three of our friends who are beginning the build process. This company gets an A+ for customer service.

Purchased a 92% efficiency condensing Trane furnace, 13.8 SEER 2 ton Trane AC unit and removal & installation for a house in Leeton that we are refurbishing.
The installation took just 3 hours (4.5 hours with a 90 minute break for parts & lunch). Installers were skilled and courteous, however completion was rushed. No startup diagnostics and very little startup testing was done. We tested heat, but the techs overlooked the blower hadn't come on until Aux Heat was called for. We switched on AC, and the tech announced that he heard the compressor come on, and left. A follow up call with the tech got the answer we needed to re-configure our smart thermostat, but it should have been caught onsite, had there not been a rush to leave. HVAC install & service companies we use at other properties always run diagnostics and give us results. The reason professional companies do this is to determine if there are weak components, and ensure everything is working as designed/specced. The reason not to do this, is to let things fail, driving a service call at a later time.
Communication could have been better all around, from contract approval/order to install schedule, install, and post installation, there were long gaps of time with no response. Over one week between contacts, with no response, was standard, and the company doesn't seem to communicate internally very well.
The original unit had been incased within non-load bearing wall sections. We removed all of these to make installation easier. During this time, we also removed the furnace chimney sections. The Air Design installers took the old furnace and left the old furnace chimney stack parts (because they hadn't removed them, we were told), as well as some of their PVC scrap. When I dropped off the chimney pieces at Air Design, a different tech helped me unload them to their dumpster and informed me that rushing the installations has been an ongoing issue at Air Design.
I am uncertain what service and support will be like. It hasn't started well. The owner of Air Design not getting back to me when the office said they would pass along my concerns for example. Those same concerns not being passed to the Operation and Sales Manager (who reached out a week later with no knowledge of any concerns, but asking for concerns/feedback), and the subsequent customer service failures (having a tech email us directly, in response to our feedback, rather than the Operations Manager or Owner, was poor form*), causes me major concerns about future service & support.
I would definitely look at multiple companies in the area, as you should, and be prepared to not get customer service if you go with Air Design.
I have included photos of before, after (including the scrap left), outside, and vent (with scrap tossed aside).
*when delivering customer service, a best practice is to have a manager contact the customer, then follow up with the techs. This is standard operating procedure in companies with mature customer service approaches.
EDIT: Over a month and no contact. I would avoid Air Design.
1/4/2025 - I've included a photo from the existing security camera, that shows an issue with where they placed the vent.
