Very professional and honest. We have an Ash Bor tree and wanted to get it cut down and the arborist said it was a healthy tree. All was needed to cut branches and fertilize the tree and spray for emerald bors. Very good company.

Been using Davey for years to take care of all our trees, shrubs, etc. Always been great to work with. Have had a few different reps over the years, and all have been great and very knowledgeable.

Wonderful custyomer service ater the fact. As for the service: quick, efficient friendly and they cleaned up every stick and branch from a down tree leaning on the house. Thank you so much Davey -- I will be looking to you for future work.

Davey came in a removed a huge tree for me, bushes around a courtyard and even did some things didn't ask them to do. I was surprised at the price they quoted, as I thought it would have been a lot more. I'll definitely be using them again for another large tree I have.

Top Notch..this is no ‘2 guys and a chainsaw’ operation. Each person I talked to had expert knowledge of trees and my situation. I was so happy with the service that when I raved about them to my insurance company they asked for their contact information so they could recommend Davey to their clients.

One of their drivers just tried to overtake my vehicle because their lane ended on Ballas just north of Manchester and then proceeds to honk at me like they had a right of way.

Davey Tree Expert Company is WONDERFUL! After 4 other arborists giving me conflicting advice about a large maple, a friend suggested I call Davey. They did deep root fertilization on all the trees and shrubs, and they aerated, overseeded and fertilized my yard, and now my grass is emerald green. Very good service and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Davey.

Davey Tree came out and evaluated several trees on the property. Ultimately two large trees had to come down (upon removal you could see just how hollow they were). Everyone we dealt with, from the first phone call to the last person leaving the property was exceptionally nice, professional, gifted craftspeople and mindful of the delicate environment in which they were working. I cannot say enough nice things about them and am so grateful.

After the most recent round of storms I had 30 foot of a 60 foot lay over the top of my house. I needed to get it off asap. I was connected to Nathan Cartwright who showed up in 15 minutes of the call & put together a plan and a crew to safely remove 3 large limbs from the house. His crew showed up threw down mats on the ground to protect the yard and within 2 hrs the tree was removed with no further damage. I know Nathan and his crew were dead tired when they showed up but they performed the job safely and professionally. I can’t thank them enough for removing the tree & the stress. Great service is hard to find but this group delivered on the job, I should know for the last 45 years I have provided 24/7. 365 service for refrigerated food facilities. Showing up when you have been at it 10 hrs already means something to customers.
I will continue to use Nathan and will tell anyone needing tree service he’s the man to call.

Davey Tree is very professional from first visit(estimate) to actual removal of 2 large trees on 2 different occasions and follow up after completion. All of their employees were very personable and took extraordinary care to prevent damage to my property during removal of trees. Being in business also, I can appreciate a very personable and well run company.

Davey Tree did an amazing job with trimming my 25’ Honey Locust in my front yard and my 20’ Pin Oak in my back yard. Their long-time experienced professional arborist provided guidance on not only the aesthetic for the trees but also reduced the limb overhang to my house which became a pathway for squirrels and other critters to my roof. They cleaned up the debris very well. They understandably prioritized emergency customers who had downed trees from the windstorm that blew through the area, so my scheduled appointment was delayed by two weeks; but they are well worth the wait.

Davey Tree exceeded my expectations! Their arborist recommended deep root fertilization for my trees, along with a treatment for my beautiful Elm tree. I'm eagerly anticipating this service, knowing it will benefit my trees immensely. Additionally, the tree pruning performed by their crew was impeccable. Their attention to detail was apparent, leaving my property looking pristine. I highly recommend Davey Tree for their outstanding tree care services!

Alec surveyed our property with us.. He made a map of our landscape and patiently described the different varieties of trees we had. He informed the Board about the health and wealth of our trees. He didn’t pressure us. His knowledge as an arborist helped us make informed decisions about what trees to cut down and which ones to keep. The Davey crew showed up on time and worked all day. They were amazing, professional, and paid attention to details. All of the condo owners and neighbors came out to appreciate and comment on the final product. Alec and his crew are the best! We plan to continue to use them to maintain the health of our trees.

Davey's crew thoroughly removed my tree stump, regraded the area with rich soil, and planted seed over the area. The crew left the area cleaner than when they started. This was a superb job. I will use them again whenever I need more tree service.

Best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Not to mention the high level of technical knowledge and professionalism of the arborist I met with and the crew that came out. Their Plant Health program was customized to my landscape's specific issues, and I could tell a difference within the first few visits, especially after the ground injection that helps the soil health. I've had a great experience with Davey thus far.

Booked an appointment for June 23. The arborist was to look at the diseased tree and let us know if it could be saved or had to be removed. Person who scheduled the appointment said I didn’t have to be home and that the estimate will be emailed to me.

Two days later, no email or call so I called them. The person I spoke with claims the arborist did look at the tree. I confirmed my email address with her and waited. Five days later—no email and no call.

How long does it take to send a short email saying tree needs to be removed, I’ll get you an estimate in a week? Disappointing business practices for a company with great reviews.

After the Fri. 5/16/25 tornado in StL, Davey was contracted by my insurance to remove a large limb from my roof. Jon D. and Damian B. arrived Sunday before expected heavy rains and finished early enough for the roofer to tarp. J and D were fast, efficient and professional. Everything was cleaned up well, including what was leaf blown off the roof. Jon even took roof damage photos for me. Great work, Jon and Damian!
