I hired Elkhorn Lawn Care in the winter of 2021 for leaf removal. My experience was positive and I was happy with their work. They provided me with a quote for $220 and their final invoiced amount was $220. I hired them this year for the same service, leaf removal from the same tree. Their quote came in at $225, almost the same as last year, but their final invoice and amount pulled from my bank account before being notified was $375. The fact that their estimate was off by 67% is embarrassing, especially given that they performed the same work last year. I called their office to discuss this issue and they told me that the reason for the difference between the quote and the charged amount is because too much time had passed between when they provided their quote and when they performed their work; there were more leaves on the ground. I was provided with their quote on 10/26 and they completed their work on 10/31. Elkhorn Lawn Care has offered nothing to fix this issue. I will not be hiring Elkhorn Lawn Care in the future and would not recommend using them.

We’ve been using Elkhorn Lawn Care for our lawn and landscape maintenance for several years now. As part of their services, they do a monthly “cleanup” of our landscaping, and I wanted to give a special thanks to Pedro, Kelvin, and William. They’ve been going above and beyond for our cleanups…1 of 3 of our garden beds is unused this summer, and they have been cleaning out the grass/weeds growing in the unused bed. I was so pleasantly surprised when I went out to harvest and found that I didn’t have to fight around all the weeds! Thank you, Pedro, Kelvin, and William!

I had Elkhorn lawn care come out to turn my sprinkler system on for the summer and not only did I have a bad valve in the control area, but I had a root nightmare on one of my sprinkler lines. The sprinkler tech, Derek, not only did an excellent job of resolving the problems, but he did it with a smile on his face and was very friendly. He went the extra mile to get the system working and then Trouble shot another issue that we are going to resolve in a couple of weeks. I couldn’t be more satisfied with their Service. I highly recommend them. Ask for Derek.

Elkhorn Lawn service has been a pleasure to work with. My lawn was the darkest green I’ve had in 5 years. Tried others and finally found Elkhorn Lawn and they do great work. Any concerns or questions I’ve had they have resolved to my satisfaction. The technicians that fertilize my lawn or did perimeter pest control were friendly and caring. We have been very impressed with all aspects of the work performed at my West Omaha residence. First of all, the work done for the last three years has been amazing and we have had one of the nicest looking yards on the block since they took over service. We have pets and they always make sure to have the gate closed when they are done. I have also had the great pleasure of speaking with the extremely helpful and knowledgeable office manager (Alicia) that gets everything scheduled and setup. She went out of her way to escalate my appointment time to get my trees sprayed for Japanese beetles when they came in and started destroying my trees. Thank you so much for everything Elkhorn Lawn Care. I would never go elsewhere for my lawn care needs and services!!

James and his Elkhorn Lawn Care team corrected our drainage and sprinkler system issues this past week. His teams were extremely professional and courteous. I am very happy with the work performed and appreciated the great customer service I received which is very rare to find these days.

We have used several sprinkler system companies in our 20 years at this house. We've had surly, we've had those who were pleasant but messed up appointment times or dates, and we have had some who just didn't bother to show up. That ended when we found Elkhorn Lawn Care. Elkhorn has been a pleasure to work with. It is easy to schedule an appointment. They're there when they say they will be, and their technicians know what they are doing. What more could you want? We used Elkhorn Lawn Care for a clean up and landscaping project. Their team was professional, personable, and genuinely interested in our satisfaction. Minor issues such as a cut sprinkler line were resolved within 24 hours of my notice to them. They were flexible with desired design changes and went beyond expectations with regards to cleaning up where their equipment left damage. My family and I recently moved to Omaha from Charlotte, NC and I was looking for a lawn care company that could handle everything (lawn care, outdoor lighting, sprinkler system, tree and bush care) for our home. Elkhorn Lawn Care was prompt in getting back to me and scheduled an appointing to discuss my needs immediately. After meeting with James, he was able to provide me a quote on everything I wanted the next day and the prices were reasonable. They have done very good work and if they were not able to finish something, they communicated with me on when they would be back out to complete. I have been very pleased with their work and would recommend them to everyone.

I have recently used Elkhorn Lawn Care on a landscaping lighting issue I was having. My wife said that Derek came out, he was on time, courteous, friendly and fixed the problem. The lights worked for a few nights but then stopped working. Sent an email to the office the next day and Derek came back out the same day found a different issue and fixed it at no additional cost. It was very refreshing to have a company that was very responsive in taking care of the problem. I have used Elkhorn Lawn Care for about 2 years now from sprinkler repair, spring clean-up to a small landscaping project and every time their employees and quality of work has been exceptional. I have used Elkhorn Lawn Care for many years, since the original owners were just starting out. Over time the company grew and added new services. As they have grown and added more and more services, costs have increased and work quality decreased. Instances such as being charged when they didn't mow, weeds growing in the lawn, they were supposed to spray as part of Fertilization and not completing the full perimeter treatment because the gates are locked.....when they have the keys. The extremely high prices for mowing had me look elsewhere for 2024. The lack of meeting scheduling needs for sprinklers had me leave for good later this spring. I've asked for my keys back. Conveniently they have lost them. The quality of service went downhill when one owner left and the other is less involved in day to day operations.

This is the second year Elkhorn Lawn Care has taken care of our HOA lawns. They do a great job, especially with the mowing patterns. They are quick to resolve any issues and provide quotes for additional services.

They are also providing our snow removal services. They did a great job with the snow that had high winds and severe wind chills.

My husband and I decided to have Elkhorn Lawn Care put mulch in our yard this year since we last mulched a couple of years ago. They came out and gave us a reasonable estimate, so we decided to go with them. The mulching crew did an excellent job and took great care in putting the mulch down where I had requested it. I noticed they also had to move hoses that I had forgotten were out in my yard, but they put them right back where they belonged. They left our yard looking clean, and it looks great with the new mulch. I will definitely have them back out again for this service.

Replaced a retaining wall with a new wall; best bid I received, excellent work, coordinated with a fence company to locate new fence posts during wall construction. Very happy with the results. Excellent reliability with communication and scheduling.

When COX installed new cable in my area, dug into the sprinkler system along the sidewalk. The system had to be repaired. The technicians from Elkhorn Lawn did an excellent job of repairing the damage. The owner of the company got involved to insure everything met my expectations.

I am always very satisfied with the work Elkhorn Lawn does for me and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good lawn service.

I recently had Elkhorn Lawncare out to fix a landscape light that had been damaged in a storm. I was so impressed with their work. I could hardly tell where they had pulled in the new electrical line and there was very little mess left behind. I really appreciated their attention to detail. Nice work ELC!!
