Appliance Repair reviews in Lincoln, Nebraska

Andy's scheduling is not convenient. They claim they give you a 2 hour window but they only give it to you the day before and if it doesn't work then they reschedule the day. This effectively means you have to be available for the entire day to make an appointment work.
When I spoke with customer service they were not helpful or particularly friendly. The website says it gives an option to have multiple appliances seen at once but the website module doesn't have a spot for it. -
I had contacted Andy's Appliance Repair as my refrigerator water line had been freezing to my ice maker. While the technician was able to quickly diagnose the issue, I was quoted nearly 500 dollars to replace the water inlet valve. After researching online, I was able to locate the needed part for $45. I cancelled the appointment, ordered the part, and was able to install it myself in a half an hour. Even at 50% markup for the part, that would be ~$70 dollars. Where does the other 430 come from? To simply diagnose the issue cost $140. Personally I would say that they are taking advantage of the unknown. 2 stars because the technician was courteous and explained things in a way that I could understand. He also located an error that I made after installing my new ice maker, there was a plastic piece to the fill tray that needed to be trimmed to allow the pathway for water to have a more downward path.

I made an appointment to have my refrigerator looked at and repaired because it was constantly running. I made the appointment well in advance with no issues until the appointment date and time when I received a call from tech services saying the technician was unable to make it because of medical issues. There only option was to reschedule it for 3 working days past my scheduled service date. I guess they only a one technician that was smart enough to fix my issues. This was there only solution to helping me. Needless to say I will no longer be using their services and I will tell all family and friends to avoid them.

The service guard technician Dustin, the Service Guard tech was by our home around to fix the central air unit. Dustin said he cleaned the condenser coil, put it back together, and things should work fine. We left to go work out at the gym and came home it was still working decently. I and my spouse went to see a movie last night. We got home around midnight and the house was at 80 degrees. I went out back and checked the unit the motor was making a humming noise and the fan was not spinning!
My spouse called Service Guard to report the issues and the representative said the soonest they would be able to dispatch a tech to our house would be July 5, 2018!
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO REACH 100 DEGREES OUTSIDE. IMAGING THE TEMPERATURE INSODE THE HOUSE!!!
This behavior is unacceptable! This is not good customer service!! We should not have to wait until July 5th to get this oversight fixed and fixed properly!!! Since their tech messed our central air up it needs to be fixed immediately!
