I'm giving Andy's a 3 here - it's complicated. If you want to know my experience please keep reading.

We've used Andy's 3 times now. The first 2 experiences were great - Andy's came out and replaced the heating element in our dryer the first time (under warranty) and the second time they looked at our fridge and were able to get it working again without the need for any parts. (yay!)

The third experience was not so great. Our dishwasher quit working and we had a tech out 4 times. The first time ordered parts and the second time installed them. This did not fix the issues and so they came out again and ordered more parts and the fourth time installed them. After all of this, the dishwasher still wasn't working properly.

Take everything below with a grain of salt because it comes from a competitor... we finally had to move on to another service that Samsung recommended since things were still not working. When the tech came out, he said things had not been put back together correctly (there was a guard that was just completely missing) and that it didn't appear they had replaced the motor that they were supposed to. They ordered _another_ motor and replaced it and now everything has been working fine.

Luckily this was all warranty work so I didn't have to pay for it (other than the nearly 3 months it took me to get my dishwasher fixed) - but I won't be using Andy's again for any of my Samsung appliances.

We had a whirlpool washer malfunction 2 weeks after warranty expired. Called Andy's and scheduled service call. Day before service date, they called to tell us they were familar with the described problem and rather than charge us for a service call they suggested we call Whirlpool as there may be a free fix for this. Thanks to Jeremy and Andy's Appliance. We appreciate the honesty and will certainly use Andy's for any appliance repair we may need.

Chris was exceptional in both his work and his demeanor. I let the office know I have profound hearing loss they assured me they woujd let him know. He is one of the few who actually accommodated my disability and very low key helped me communicate and understand.
Upfront about cost and time frame will use again if needed

Super please with Andy's Appliance Repair! Called to schedule a service call for my dryer that was no longer drying clothes. Was put on the schedule a few days out, but was advised if they got a cancellation, they'd be in touch. It worked! They made it out that same day! Great customer service and personable/knowledgeable technician. Highly recommend!

Great experience with this company! I called on a Saturday thinking I'd have to leave a message for a call back the following week. A real person answered the phone. She was courteous and professional! Then to my surprise, they sent a technician (Chris) to do my repair! Chris called when he on the way. He got right to work and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had one of the parts on hand (which he installed to get us going), and ordered the other which arrived in 2 days. I called back when the part arrived and Chris came back on that same day!! Chris was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable! We will definitely use this company in the future and would highly recommend them!!

Jeremy came out to look at our dryer that quit heating. He showed up quick and early, was easy to talk to and very friendly. Explained what needing replaced and was able to swap the part out during his visit. And boom, we're back in business. Really appreciate him and Andy's! The reviews are right, you all rock! Jeremy even talked horror movies with me and that earns extra points! Thank you so much!

I’ve used Andy’s for decades, but I’m extremely disappointed in my latest transaction. I ordered a $130 washing machine pump. I could have ordered it from Amazon for less, but I like to support local businesses. When they called to say the pump was in I went to the local store in Lincoln only to find out the pump was in Omaha. They offered to have it shipped down to the Lincoln store, but that would take an additional 3 days. This was their mistake and the best they can do is mail it to Lincoln? I ordered ot from Amazon and saved $100. Never again will I worry about local shops.

I was able to get help quickly. The technician has been to my house before and always does a thorough job. He makes sure everything is working absolutely as it should. And he explains what went wrong and needed fixing. I felt validated in calling and listened to as I explained the issue. It was a pleasant experience all around. I'm glad I called Andy's for help.

My technician was absolutely wonderful! The price that I paid is about what I expected for the repair and it was done at that same time and I'm very happy with the service.

I love Andy's repair, they are so quick and responsive to your call. They are reasonable cost repair. Initially Jared Sinclair our technician, was prompt to arrive was fast, professional and did an awesome job. He explained everything and was actually early to come back and install the part and able to get us up and running quickly. They had to order the part but over all a great job all around. Great communication between the technician Jared and the office to get the part ordered and to return to fix the washer...Thank you so much. Andy was very thorough with his repairs...great job!

I had an excellent experience with Andy’s Appliance Repair. My dryer stopped working, and I was worried about the cost and hassle of getting it fixed. However, the technician was prompt, professional, and explained everything clearly. He quickly identified the issue and got it fixed in no time. The dryer is running like new again, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. I highly recommend Andy’s for anyone in need of dryer repair – top-notch service, affordable, and friendly!

The process was great from start to finish. I was quickly scheduled for a refrigerator repair within a few days. The techs communicated about their arrival time, showed up on time and assessed the situation. They needed to order a part and scheduled the repair for about a week later. They returned and quickly made the repair. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Demitrius was very polite and efficient at repairing our ice maker. He showed up at the specified time and got right to work. I felt the repair cost was a fair price for replacing the motor. Very pleased with their service and will use them again!

I scheduled an appointment for a door installation on a Subzero fridge 1-2 weeks before I needed the service completed. I spoke several times with staff regarding this repair. I was sent an email confirmation of the appointment the day before the service was to be performed. At 4 pm the day before the service was to take place and 2 hours after they had confirmed the service via text, the service manager called and said they could not install the door as scheduled and if/when I rescheduled the service, the cost would be more than double what I was initially told because they would need two men and it was a complicated job. They could not have cared less about the fact that I had made many changes in my schedule to accommodate the appointment and that I had I communicated clearly and often and was assured many times that they would and could do the repair and of the price. I was able to schedule Hometown Heroes for the repair the next day (today) and the cost was half what Wayne told me they would charge and one man,
Ali, was on time and very accommodating, informative and professional and totally knows how to repair and install Subzeros. Eric (the customer service manager !??) obviously was thrilled and ENJOYED telling me that they would not repair my fridge door and then actually refused me service altogether because he believed they were the only Subzero repairman. My absolute irritation seemed to be his only goal. Truly a terrible terrible experience for me with Andy’s Appliance Repair.

We already gave a five star review for Jeremy, the technician that fixed our washer. We have not used it yet but it is no longer dripping. He was very good. Had a trainee with him. Only took him 35 min to diagnose & replace the part. Jeremy showed us the part and told us the total would be around $365. At the end he took off $5 for senior citizen & $5 to put a sign in our yard. Jeremy told us senior discount was $10 so total discount was was supposed to be $15 . $5 is nothing to worry about it is the labor cost. My husband signed the charge without seeing the invoice had only total but no cost breakdown of parts etc. I was told when I called in there was a charge of $119 for diagnosing & parts would be extra plus a one time $5 gas fee. We figured the part had to be expensive when Jeremy told us $365. I looked on line for the part and it ran from $29.99 to $59.99. They charged $79.99 for the part. We know they have to make a profit on parts as well but the problem was the labor $254.95. Total charge was $348. 50 tax included. We had to ask for the breakdown on our respond to the email with the invoice. When you are told that the charge is $119 for diagnostics & $5 gas trip and parts are separate you would not think you would be paying another $135.95 additional labor charge especially for a total of 35 min stop. Our ring gave us time in and out. When I asked about such a high labor I was told they charge by the job not by the hour. My suggestion is ask more questions about their labor charges and probably shop around. Had the repair taken longer we would have understood additional labor charges but 35 min is ridiculous to charge $254.95 for labor. We had someone out on another appliance and total labor was $85 with additional $25 trip charge and he was here almost an hour. Could not remember who we used or we would have called them back. I was not sure if we were paying for 2 technicians since one was training but if they do charge for that they should disclose that before they send someone out. Jeremy did a great job, nice gentleman but next time we will do our due diligence before we ever use Andy’s again. We have used Andy’s before and don’t remember such an outrageous labor charge. They need to be more transparent on charges from the time you call in to when they tell you your total for the repair.

These guys did a wonderful job with making my washer work in all of the necessary categories: mixed, casual, whites, delicate & Bulky/sheets. Its great to be able to wash again. ;)
