Our Whirlpool clothes washer was serviced by Bryce of Hometown Heroes. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, polite, honest, and easy to talk with. He made the repair and did some extra maintenance without being asked. We would be happy to use his services again.

They showed up when they said, charged what they said. They were polite and professional!
And the best part they fixed my oven!

Hometown hero is great! I received a 30 minute alert that they were on their way and Derek arrived as scheduled. He was friendly and took his time to diagnose the issue. Used A protective mat to not damage my kitchen floor and replaced the appropriate part with efficiency. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. This is the second time this company has been to my home for a warranty repair and I would use them again for any of my appliance repair because they have always been so great! Highly recommend!

Our refrigerator stopped working. Called Hometown that morning, they had it diagnosed and running by the next morning. Highly recommended!

My refrigerator went out on me, and I tried fixing it myself until I reached a point where the repairs were beyond what I could handle. I called a few repair shops, and after walking through some possible repair scenarios, I realized that—since my fridge was already eight years old—adding just a few hundred dollars more could get me a brand-new one.

When I spoke with the sales rep over the phone, he actually took the time to educate me on refrigerators—what to avoid and what features make for a good, reliable unit. Even though they’re only a repair shop, he helped us make the best decision possible for my wife and I, knowing it likely meant I wouldn’t be a paying customer.

I don’t remember the gentleman’s name, but he was extremely helpful and left a great impression. This is the kind of business I’d turn to in the future. I highly recommend working with them over other appliance repair shops. In my experience, they genuinely focused on solving my problem—not just selling me a service that benefited them.

Our tech was very professional and informative. He called before he arrived and then showed up when he said he would be there. Came in cover his feet and got right to work. When the repair was completed he went over what broke and what was fixed. Since it was all covered under the warranty still we weren’t concerned.

This is probably the best experience I’ve ever had with an appliance repair hands down. We would absolutely use his services again in the future 100%.

Bryce knew his stuff and we didnt need any new parts he found what the previous people failed to get the dishwasher draining. However the labor charged is less than ideal as you already have a service charge to come out

We called to have them look at our fridge that was not cooling enough. Many times we told them it was a Whirlpool fridge over the phone, then later they sent a text requesting the serial # and brand, which we replied to with the Whirlpool fridge information. They went to check the fridge and called us saying that it would take $1300 to fix the refrigerator, which costs $1000 brand new AND to notify us that if we are going to use our warranty, they do not work with Whirlpool, to which I responded that they NEVER ONCE mentioned they do not work with Whirlpool warranties and that this would not make sense if we had to pay them to come to our house to tell us they don't work with them. On top of it, they charged our card that same day, which they had said they would not and instead they would send an invoice, but to my surprise they did both so we paid twice and then had to ask for a refund when we noticed the double charge, because I guess they cannot notice themselves.

This is a complete scam. It is mandatory for a company to tell you they do not work with your specific brand's warranty before coming to work on it, so we had to pay $160 for nothing.

So prompt and helpful! Even though it was a five minute diagnoses, and it was bad news (failed compressor) Ollie was super helpful in directing us how to get this repaired under warranty and save the cost of a new refrigerator!!!

Came out quick. Great communication. Derek was excellent, very nice and helpful. I wish it would have been a little less expensive for the service call but it wasn't terrible. We would use them again!
