We have used Houser for 7 or 8 years now. Great service and local owners.

Service is terrible. Had numerous issues, they didn’t seem to want to resolve, or care to lose my business. Easy decision to change providers.

We use Houser for our business dumpsters. I appreciate a local business who will answer my calls when I need something.

Hasn't picked up our trash in two weeks, keep getting told they'll "try" the next day...we have a household of 6! 🤬😡🤬 this isn't the first or even the second time they've done this either!

Always get back to me in a timely manner if I leave a message, but usually answers their phone and gives an answer to whatever question I asked. Great service, great people, and great price.

We've been customers since shortly after moving into the house a few years ago. Service has never been an issue and the price is highly competitive.

For some reason today our garbage was not picked up so my husband called and the gal that answered the phone said that our trashcan was not out which is absolutely not true! My husband then asked the gal “so where do we go from here?” hoping she would say they would get someone to come back or possibly come tomorrow but her response was “well where do we go from here?” I guess where we’re going from here is looking for a new garbage company!

We had recycling and trash removal. They would miss pick ups and still charge for them and when called to get them to come for the missed pick up they’d make you wait a week! The customer isn’t a priority here. The customer service is unprofessional and the services are mediocre at best. We’ve switched services and couldn’t be happier. Don’t waste your money.

We have used Houser Refuse for years now and love their service. We use them for trash and recycling. We love that their trash containers are sturdy and don't blow over in the wind like some of our neighbors. Great local trash service!!

Had some branches bundled up, called them early so that they would pick them up, they didn't, called customer service and the gal(Angie or Mary) answered, told her my issue, she had serious attitude, she said they were too long,and they are not tree services but I had similar bundles in the past, i believe they were lazy to even try to pick them, I got so fed up with her belittling attitude, I told her I will start looking for other providers, she responded by saying "you go ahead and do that, bye". Very rude.

Have been using Houser Refuse for many years and have been very happy with their service. Whether it's trash removal - recyclables or yard waste - Houser gets it done. Keep up the good work!!

Absolutely love this company!! They always pick up my trash and never give me any problems. Excellent price and such friendly people that work there!! I highly recommend them!

Horrible customer service! Trash was not picked up so called the phone number for them. Some lady answered and said they were short staffed and Would call the driver to get an eta on our trash pickup. Came back on the phone and said they were already there and the trash was to far up the driveway which was a lie. It was in the same spot it is every Trash day. I told her I expected my trash to be picked up as that’s what we pay them for. She informed me they would not be picking my trash up and hung up on me. I’ve tried calling back numerous times and have left voicemails with no call back. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. maybe leaving this review I’ll get a response from the company!

My pickup got missed after a holiday, so I left a message. They made it right so quickly without any questions asked. I’ve been a customer for over 4 years and rarely had any issues. Friendly drivers and they always take the extra stuff I leave on the curb when I’m doing house projects. Thanks Houser!!

Updated: The owner just stopped by our house and took the trash. Thank you very much! We will continue with H&R for trash removal service.

We have been using Houser Refuse for more than two years, they have a good service until yesterday. Their employees did not take the trash. I called H&R and thought this problem can be easily fixed. When I called them, the customer service said that we did not put our garbage outside, but we did! We put the garbage ban out near the road every Tuesday night! I told her this is not true. Then the customer service said their driver saw we put the garbage ban in the last minute. This is a second lie! She told me the only way they can do is to come back next Wednesday! She said this call is over, and handed up the call! We tried to call again but the customer service never answer it any more! I can understand their driver can miss the garbage ban, but it is not right to lie with their mistake!!

Really happy with Houser Refuse. They are friendly, timely and reasonably priced. I especially like that they have just once-a-week delivery--picking up both garbage and recyclables on the same day--and bill customers every three months. A really good deal.

I have been with Houser Refuse for a little under a year now and have had nothing but great experiences thus far. They always pick-up the extra refuse and they communicate well with me. They’re timely and hard at work. Will continue to use them as long as I am a resident at my house!

Pretty good company! They're reliable and consistent, always on time. The price is decent, too. The only thing I would say needs a little bit of work would be their communication, sometimes they're hard to get a hold of. Julie is wonderful, though, and when I do get a call back/answer she is great to work with. I would recommend to anyone in Lincoln.
