I would highly recommend. Extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. Second time I've used them. This time I had some major renovation work I needed done and they walked me through what was required and what it would cost. Even came in under my budget!

We have used Giebelhaus-Hoffman on 2 different occasions. They were friendly and prompt, and provided excellent customer service and offered suggestions over the phone to save us the cost of a trip out. We would highly recommend them as a trustworthy, knowledgeable company!

I've had two experiences with this company. One was good, one was so bad that it outweighed the good.

Without getting into too much detail about the specifics, I was told a job would take around half a day. It ended up spanning three days, resulted in me not having a functioning shower for one day, and resulted in a flooded bathroom and water in the basement. They took care of the water but it was still a huge inconvenience. The cost was also higher than originally quoted and as far as i can tell, was a result of inexperience and wasted time on their end.

Also, don't believe all the hype and positive reviews. I tried to leave a review on Facebook as per the request on the invoice they sent me but it was a negative review and was removed. I then tried a second time and it was also removed and they have since taken down the ability to leave reviews on their Facebook page. Easy to maintain 5 stars when you remove anything but positive reviews.

I had these guys replace my sink and garbage disposal a few months back, during a home inspection while selling my home it came up the wiring wasn't properly secured to the disposal and when I called them they sent someone out to fix it the next day at no charge. We all make mistakes and I love that when they did they made it right, I would recommend these guys to anyone needing work done.

The same plumber has worked on my apartment twice now. He was prompt, friendly and fixed the issues. There was no mess to clean up, even from his shoes on a rainy day. I highly recommend!

Excellent service! The faucet we ordered did not work well with the new countertop sink. Spence Hoffman put in a new faucet with no charge. We have used Giebelhaus-Hoffman three times in the past several years and have always been pleased with their work and professionalism.

I own a house that was built in 1917, and to say that the previous owners had some “creative ideas” in terms of home improvement would be, um, kind.
Over the years, we have needed more than a few plumbing repairs professionally remedied, both minor and major.
That work ranged from frozen pipes and a broken faucet, water heater replacement, to harder jobs, like interior sewer line work, line material replacement, and even sprinkler system plumbing work (I needed a new back flow valve and it turned into the job from hell for the plumber!).
For all of these repairs, we have relied on Giebelhaus-Hoffman and Dorsey, and we have always been impressed by not only the quality of work, but also the honesty, professionalism and sense of urgency shown by their plumbers.
These guys are on the level of what your grandparents meant when they would say “they just don’t make them like that anymore”.
These guys are straight-shooting, highly skilled at what they do, hardworking, and fair with their rates.
Quality all around.

Matt's Plumbing came out to unclog our main drain around 5 months ago. Our drain is now clogged again we called Tues 11/3 to have them come out. They made an appointment for them to come out today 11/5. They never showed up or called. Come to find out that they never put us down on the schedule then told us that they can't come until Saturday 😡 I called another plumber this evening and he was at our house in 30 minutes of calling.

We’ve used this company twice now and I cannot praise them enough. My biggest concern is being taken advantage of when it comes to home repairs and these guys make me wish everyone in their industry operated this way. Heck-I wish people in every industry operated this way! They are fast, courteous, knowledgeable, thorough and best of all, their prices are the best in lincoln. They are just an honest, hard-working bunch and even the secretary is polite, helpful and knowledgeable. She tried to assist me with my disposal over the phone, hoping it wouldn’t take a service call to fix it. I’m a realtor and finding tradesmen like this bunch is like finding a treasure. I will always recommend Matt’s to clients and friends.

Talk about a guy who loves what he does and cares how you feel. Matt gets the job done fast, even on weekends. He takes his shoes off and cleans up any mess left behind. The best plumber in Lincoln, give him a try and you will never search the phone book for another plumber.

Had a tree root cause a backup way after hours. Came and had it cleared within an hour, and they arrived earlier than quoted, very nice for an emergency issue. Gave some pointers on how to avoid the situation from happening again. Very personable and would use again.

We have used Matt for over 4 years now. He has done all of our new sprinkler system stub outs and hanging of backflows. He helps pull the permits with the city with no problems. He really knows his stuff and has helped us many times. He does fantastic work from day one and many of my customers have used him for other projects. From removing a deck to get the pipe out from the utility room. To going in an attic that was 130 degrees without breaking a sweat. He is fair with his pricing because of the quality you receive. He cares about his work and business and it shows.

Our water heater failed. Matt was out the next day to replace. He stayed late due to some unexpected issues making sure we had hot water for that evening. Appreciate the extra effort. Thanks Matt!
