I recently had the privilege of having my basement crawlspace encapsulated (3-layer protection) by Groundworks and I am beyond thrilled with the results. The project included the installation of a sum pump, 75 feet of drainage line, drainage mat, insulation, and heavy-duty plastic, and after just a couple of days, the improvements have been remarkable.

In the past, my basement was plagued by a stagnant pond-like odor, a constant temperature of 59 degrees, and uncomfortably high humidity. Now, thanks to the encapsulation, the odor is completely gone, the humidity has been cut in half, and even without the subfloor installed, the temperature has noticeably risen. It’s incredible how much of a difference the encapsulation has made already.

I first encountered Groundworks at the Home Show in Denver, where their display of encapsulation systems stood out as the best of the show. Their products were clearly superior to the competitors, both in quality and appearance. After receiving multiple bids, all of which were similarly priced, we ultimately chose Groundworks—especially after seeing how they provided honest, straightforward information without using scare tactics to upsell additional products.

What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional leadership and professionalism of the job foreman, Guillermo Hernandez. From start to finish, Guillermo and his team exceeded my expectations. Guillermo was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. He kept us fully informed at all times, conducting daily walkthroughs to show us the progress and outline the plan for the following day. His communication and dedication to the project were top-notch.

Guillermo’s crew—Memo, Lazaro, Ulises, and Diego—were equally impressive. They were all punctual, respectful, and hard-working, giving their best to every aspect of the job. Their attention to detail and insistence on perfection were evident, and their commitment to delivering quality results was remarkable. It was some of the most intense labor I’ve ever witnessed, and I’m grateful for their hard work.

Overall, I’m extremely happy with the job done by Groundworks. The encapsulation has already made a huge difference in my basement’s environment, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of this type of work. A special thank you to Guillermo and his crew for their professionalism, hard work, and dedication to excellence.

Willy and crew were professional, courteous, considerate, knowledgeable and hardworking. Joe (project mgr) answered any questions I had along the way. Had 9 anchors and 3 steel beams installed on 11/2 foundation walls that needed work done. Also had an expansion joist installed in driveway to stop shifting. Financing was very easy. Whole process very easy. No complaints. Groundwork’s will come back and check in the near future and then once a year for 3 years and tighten if needed. After that we can take over or pay a small fee and have them continue coming out. I’ll sleep much better now knowing I don’t have to worry about our basement walls caving in. Thank guys!!

Matt may have been the nicest and most knowledgeable person that we have dealt with since moving to Nebraska. He surveyed and studied our situation with great care. Awesome experience with Groundworks (I work with Ryan). Inspection was smooth and very interesting, we went over the whole process and I feel like Ryan had my best interest in mind. They suggested a solution and scheduled the works for the week after. It was a smooth process throughout and I would recommend Groundworks to anyone having issues or doubts about the state of their foundations.

We bought a 100 year old home and were concerned about sloping floors. I called Groundwork’s to get an opinion and estimate if any work needed to be done. I won’t lie, I was keenly aware that whoever came could try to throw me a line and cost me a fortune.

Sergio Robles was at out house the same day I called in. He did a thorough inspection, asked me lots of questions, and educated us about what we were seeing. He was informative but not pushy. He let us know what he would recommend immediately, and what we should just keep an eye on. He had the work scheduled for us in just a few weeks. At the end of the day my mind was at ease.

We were so impressed by the quick response to our call. Mitchell showed up the next day to evaluate the situation and give us our quote. We were very appreciative of the thorough explanation of the problem and the solution on the day of our repair, Sal, Arturo and Ma were very informative, friendly, efficient, and cleaned up well after the job was done. Would totally recommend! And the cost was much more reasonable than we anticipated! We had an issue with our foundation failing in a certain area after a flood a year and a half ago There was sudden separation of the wall and floor of about 2 inches a month ago. When they were done, you couldn’t even tell it happened!!

Flavio, Grant, and Pay HToo, did a great job fixing our basement leak issue. They made sure everything was well isolated so no dust went into our vents or on our personal items. They were in and out quickly but were efficient. Very friendly crew! Thanks Groundworks for a job well done! 👌🏼

Juan Paramo, Manuel, and Julio did an amazing job over 3 days. There was a lot of work that needed to be done and they handled the challenges that came up along the way. They were polite and efficient. CJ was also great to work with while I was getting bids for the project. He was knowledgeable and caring with his approach. He gave me an education that only someone with years of experience can gave.

Sal and crew were very knowledgeable and professional during their work on multiple projects on our home. They encountered a few curveballs along the way but were able to adjust on the fly, explain the situation, and land good outcomes. They took care to clean up throughout the process and minimize disruption. Great communication from our field inspector Josh from start to finish. Cost beat competitor's estimate, and was reasonable given what I saw researching online. Will look to this group again for future needs!

I had a wonderful experience with Groundworks. I am selling my home & had foundation problems and my realtor helped me take care of this. We worked with Joe & he was great on keeping both my realtor and I in the loop on what was going on with everything. Rene was the person that did the work & he was great he kept me in contact every step of the way on what was going on & did an absolute great job. I got the pleasure of working with Mr. Sergio Robles. He was thorough while he was inspecting my crawl space and explaining the repairs that were necessary. He recommended a few repairs, that I opted out of, and wasn't pushy about repairing them just to get a sale. He was an easy going, respectful and knowledgeable guy. We ended up not going with Groundworks due to a cheaper for our project, but the service we received with Groundworks was amazing! Mitchell Davis was our inspector, and he was incredibly helpful during our estimate. He was clearly knowledgable and very honest with our project. He was incredible, and, even though we ended up not going with Groundworks, I still highly recommend their services.

We just had our basement and crawl space encapsulated by Groundworks. The crew of Way Lay, Payray and Myo did an amazing job. It was not an easy task as our crawl space was very tight but they went above and beyond to deliver a well done job. We truly appreciate their hard work and respect for our property. My crew at Groundwork’s was truly so professional and respectful. We had 7 piers put in to stop half of our house from sinking. They spoke to me at every step of the process and showed me what they were doing. They cleaned up and made sure that I was satisfied with their work. Mark Tramontozzi came out and inspected a room we had done back in 2019 by a different company before ground works acquired it. He was early to begin with, which was awesome, super nice, and very thorough. He fixed what needed to be fixed and then did a foundation inspection and checked the rest of the house for potential issues. Super nice and super knowledgeable. Would totally recommend!

Groundworks (Omaha) was great! We needed help with a house we had just bought, and Groundworks was recommended to us by our inspector. They were great working around our hectic schedules to get something scheduled! WayLay and his team arrived as expected and did great work!
