I absolutely love it when I come across a company that not only delivers top-tier service but also genuinely cares about helping their customers. That’s exactly what I experienced today with SOUTHWEST ELECTRIC, and it's why they are now my go-to team for all of my electrical needs going forward.

My under-cabinet kitchen LED light had gone out, and I needed help replacing it. Since moving to Henderson in 2020, I've been on the lookout for honest, dependable, and affordable technicians. After seeing the stellar reviews for SOUTHWEST ELECTRIC, I decided to give them a call—and I'm so glad I did.

From the moment I called, I was impressed. I spoke with RAY, who took the time to really listen to my issue. He scheduled an appointment for the same day and assured me that not only could SOUTHWEST ELECTRIC help with today’s issue, but they’d be there for any future electrical needs as well. I let him know that I write reviews and if they delivered great service, I’d be sharing my experience—and here we are.

Right on schedule, exactly one hour later, JOSE BARBOZA arrived at my door. He was professional, friendly, and respectful from the moment he stepped in. Within just five minutes, he diagnosed the issue and had my lights working again. Even though this was a small job, JOSE handled it with the kind of care and professionalism that truly impressed me.

This experience reminded me that there are still honest, skilled professionals out there who won’t try to upsell or take advantage of you. Thanks to RAY and JOSE, I now have peace of mind—and a trusted company I’ll be using for life.

Southwest Electric was very helpful. Ray was quick to dispatch out a technician and communicated with me throughout the process. Omar was the technician that came to the house. He was very cordial, polite, and thorough while explaining the diagnosis and the repairs to solve it. I then received a follow up call from Ray the next day to check if we were happy with the repairs and if there was anything else that we need. GREAT EXPERIENCE 👍

I was very pleased with the work that Southwest Electric has done for me. Our main panel had significant problems. They came out on a Sunday afternoon and was able to get us running, at least in part but not totally that day. We decided to update our main panel in prep for future solar installation. They did an excellent job.

We had outages at our business following a storm, which affected our ability to service our customers. Ray made us a priority, and got an electrician out to our site very quickly. The electrician diagnosed the problem, effected a temporary repair to get us back in business, and returned the next day to complete permanent repairs. When we subsequently discovered other (unrelated) electrical issues, Ray again got us same day service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Honest company. I called for 2nd bid, first company wanted twice as much. I learned they work on commission and upsells. Whi wver heard of upsetting electrical work. These guys are honest and don't pay for fake reviews!

Southwest Electric is an A+++++ company that provides excellent service and knowledge in all areas concerning electric and power. Ray and Tommy were friendly, professional, prompt and above all affordable. They understand the economics of these times and try to help people, NOT take advantage of them. I had a great experience with Tom from Southwest Electric LLC. He came out on a Saturday, diagnosed the issue quickly, and had everything fixed within an hour. Not only was he efficient and knowledgeable, but he was also friendly and professional throughout the whole visit. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for a weekend service call. I highly recommend Tom and Southwest Electric for anyone in need of reliable electrical work!

Tom at Southwest Electric installed my EV home charger and he did a great job! All things EV was new to me so I had a lot of questions which Tom answered throughly. He kept me informed on the delivery of the charging unit coming from Acura. There was a delay in delivery but Tom made the install a priority upon its arrival which I greatly appreciated. Tom arrived within the service window promised and got right to work, completing the job quickly. The charger looks nice and most importantly, it works great and I have had no issues. I did have another question after the install and Tom was just as quick to respond and was helpful. Should I have further electrical needs at my home, I will be reaching out to Tom and Southwest Electrical.

I wanted to take a moment to express how amazing these guys are. From the owner to the staff to the service techs and skilled people Southwest electric top to bottom is outstanding. Professional on time and clean. I would always use them and say that anyone that has the chance to do business with them would never be disappointed. Top of the industry in all ways.

Got work done from here for the installation of a home EV charger in our garage. Tom was our technician and did fantastic work and went above and beyond in the process to get a good installation. Would recommend to anyone getting an EV charger at their home

Absolutely fantastic! We had an emergency power outage due to a small electrical fire and they were out here within an hour. Expertly described what we would need to fix and replace everything, coordinated with NVEnergy to get it done. Estimated it would be an all day job and got it done in HALF A DAY! Great work guys, thank you for everything.

Tom was great, came out and gave me a an estimate the morning after I called. Got the job done quickly and for a fair price. It was important to knock this job out before some other things we were doing with this remodel so the quickness with everything is very appreciated!

My circuit blew in the middle of the day and I had to look up electricians near me. Found SW Electric online with great reviews so I called. Tom answered and said he could come the same day. He came, and after checking the panel box, he suggested a remedy and explained all that it entailed. Asked if he could come by first thing the next morning and he arrived, fixed the issue in record time! I appreciated his response time, his professionalism, and the price! Excellent encounter and will definitely call for any electrical needs in the future!

Jose (installer) punctual and arrived exactly at 8am. Tom (owner) also showed up to drop off some supplies, ensure Jose had everything he needed, answer all of my questions, and even helped with pulling cable. You can tell he cares for his staff and will go above and beyond for his customers. They were both receptive to my specific preferences on how I wanted my EV charger installed and, while my install was somewhat uncommon for a residential install, they were able to adjust accordingly. Jose performed an exceptional installation while, again, also accomodating my various preferences. Very personable guys who I had no issues communicating with during the ~4 hour job. Not much more to say about Southwest Electric; they do excellent work at reasonable prices and I would not hesitate to hire them in the future.

Penny Electric fit me in on short notice. I received a call from Shane that he was on his way. He showed up and quickly identified the issue and fixed my outlet. Loved the communication, professionalism and overall service. First time using Penny Electric and I will be calling them again.

Misael & William were prompt, introduced themselves upon arrival in a well marked company vehicle. They explained exactly what they were going to do, they set to work quickly and completed the job in a very reasonable time and were very professional. They were working on an outdoor project that included working with an existing outlet, adding conduit and wiring to new outlets and they assured that I understood where and how to manage the electrical power.

The customer service is spot on! text me the day before and let me know who is coming and when! Misael, was a 5 star electrician and very professional and did a Great job, thank you Penny Electric. I also had some work done again and Michael was very helpful with my problem, he was on time and very polite! Thank you again Penny Electric!!!

Penny Electric is an excellent company. When I reached out to them for an issue with my home, they were able to send someone the next day. When their technician, Ernesto Mejia Machuca arrived, he quickly assessed the problem and recommended what was needed. He was able complete the replacement quickly and conducted an inspection of the remaining outlets to insure everything was working properly. Ernesto Mejia Machuca is a consummate professional and Penny Electric has my business for the foreseeable future.

Ernesto Mejia Machuca was my PE technician today. He replaced a chandelier the builder put in for a chandelier more to my style. Ernesto was very personable, friendly, and professional. He ensured the light was installed at my preferred height and working properly. I always use Penny Electric for my electrical needs.

Jesus had come out to label our breakers and replace one that was bad. He was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. We also had Jonathan come out to bid a job and he was also friendly, courteous and knowledgeable . I would highly recommend Penny Electric.
