Contractor reviews in Las Vegas, Nevada

I've used Justin with Sigma Companies on several occasions now ranging from EV Charger installation, to convenience outlets, GFI breakers, and a Ring Spotlight camera. I feel that their prices are reasonable, and the work is always done in the timeline provided to the expected level of quality. When dealing with permits, I've never had any issues during inspection. I would highly recommend. Thanks!

Tried getting a home charger installed for my EV they showed up late and had no idea where I wanted it to be installed. Then insisted they had to reschedule because it wasn’t in their “plans”. Completely unprofessional. DO NOT USE THEM

I recently acquired my EUV and they selected to install NEMA outlet. They provided 2 hours installation window (8 am to 10 am), which I don’t really understand why, but anyway installer showed up at 9:30 am. Installation was done in less than 20 mins. Since the installation I have been having issues with the NEMA socket overheating and the charger amber light turns on due to overheating as well. I have been in contact with them, however all they cared about is to charge diagnostic fees for an installation that was done less than 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for them to send their tech to check their poor quality installation. DON’T USE THEM and ask for a different company.

Expertise and Reliability in Electrical Contracting Services When it comes to electrical work, we rely on the proficiency and professionalism of our partners. Since we specialize in low voltage and lack the license to handle high voltage work, we trust G3 Electric to get the job done right. Their track record speaks for itself – they consistently deliver top-notch service.

I recently acquired a car that included a complimentary Level 2 charger installation through Qmerit. G3 Electrical was selected as the contractor for the installation after accepting their bid and quote. However, my experience with G3 Electrical was highly disappointing and fraught with numerous issues.
Right from the beginning, I made it a point to clearly indicate in my order that I required a Saturday installation due to my limited availability during weekdays. It was explicitly mentioned in my order and even stated on their website that they provide installations on Saturdays. However, when attempting to schedule the installation, I was informed that they do not conduct installations on Saturdays. This inconsistency was frustrating, especially considering my specific request. Although I managed to find an available day on their automated calendar, I found it peculiar that I could schedule the installation on a holiday. Upon contacting G3 Electrical to confirm the appointment, they promptly informed me that they do not work on that particular day, necessitating a rescheduling for a few weeks later. Consequently, I had to arrange for my wife to take time off work to be present during the installation.
As if the scheduling challenges were not enough, further complications arose when reviewing the paperwork sent by G3 Electrical. I noticed that it stated an installation of an outlet instead of the hardwired unit we had discussed and agreed upon. When I raised this concern with the office manager, she assured me that it would not be an issue and encouraged me to approve the paperwork.
On the day of the installation, the assigned installer displayed a disrespectful and unhelpful attitude towards my wife. Multiple points of confusion arose, and when questioned about them, the installer repeatedly responded with, "That's not my job. I am just here to do what the paperwork tells me." The main issue stemmed from the fact that the paperwork specified an outlet installation rather than the desired hardwired unit. The installer further stated that they lacked the necessary wires and breakers for a hardwired setup. Following another conversation with the office manager, it was decided to proceed with the installation while planning to upgrade the breaker at a later date. Despite my wife's repeated instructions regarding the desired hardwired location, the installer negligently installed the unit on the wrong side of the garage, offering the excuse of running out of wiring.
After the disheartening experience, I voiced my dissatisfaction to the office manager and specifically requested a different installer for any future work. Additionally, I emphasized the need to rectify the installation error by relocating the unit to the correct spot. To my dismay, the office manager stated that they would be unable to move the unit and cited concerns about the holes left in the garage. Despite my willingness to overlook the holes, no resolution was reached, and the unit remained in the undesired location.
Furthermore, when G3 Electrical returned to upgrade the breaker, it was the same installer who had previously displayed a disrespectful attitude towards my wife. This was despite my explicit request for a different installer and the office manager's assurance that a different individual would be assigned.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against engaging the services of G3 Electrical. I can only award them one star, primarily because they managed to install the system, and it is currently operational. However, my overall experience with the company was marred by numerous headaches and disappointments. I regret not selecting an alternative company that would have installed the unit according to our specifications and provided a more professional and satisfactory experience. Additionally, I am concerned about the permit, which still indicates an outlet installation instead of the agreed-upon hardwired connection, potentially leading to future complications. -

Wanted to have electrical completed (including permits) for a shed and swim spa. After doing the work not up to code and not even pulling permits and, of course, taking my money. He (Scottie) disappeared, allegedly he got sick but ghosted me for a month or so and I finally am having to have another legit company come out and redo most of his work and get the permits required.
Burned me good…real good. -
In my experience, Scotty did an amazing job! He came at the last minute to help me at my bagel shop. Got everything running up smoothly, in no time! Even went above and beyond, and did more than I asked for!
I don’t agree with any of these reviews. There is a chance that someone is out to scam him. Maybe a competitor? In my experience, Scotty is top-notch! I would recommend his services! He also has a wealth of past experience working in New York as a union electrician. He left my electrical dilemma much better than before. God bless! i needed my kitchen put back together after a water leak had occurred. The water restoration company recommended J & J Contracting. So I gave them a call. They were able to come out to my house in a timely manner and look over the damage and get a bid together for the insurance company. Once I got the OK from insurance, the magic happened. They showed up, ON TIME for a handful of days, and put my kitchen back together. They were always courteous, friendly, and helpful. Answered any questions I had and explained what they were doing for the day. They kept a clean workspace and house always look pretty good when they left. I will be highly recommending these guys to family and friends in the future.

They were absolutely awesome! They fixed our water damaged drywall and flooring, replaced a toilet and kitchen sink and made it as easy as possible! They were able to text me while I was at work to communicate and completed all of the work quickly and efficiently! Hopefully we don’t have any future damage, but we would absolutely use them again!

J&J Contracting did an excellent job repairing my water damage sheet rock. Building a new door jam. And repainting all effected areas and my whole living room and entry.
Rodney started the ball rolling. Reassuring me J&J will do an excellent job and they did !!
Joseua then took over overseeing the repairs. Ivan did the actual repairs and painting. Ivan is an exceptional craftsman, his work is perfection. His co-worker Lidia did her part to perfection also. I could not be happier with the outcome of this project in my home.
Bravo, Bravo to J&J Contracting.
Sincerely, Barbara Raeder. -
Everyone in this company from office staff to project manager to all the tradesmen were so professional and friendly. They communicated in a timely manner about when people would arrive at our home, did top notch work, always cleaned up, and met all our expectations. The communication was the biggest plus as we gave worked w contractors who are good at their work but wouldn’t answer texts or emails. This was NOT the case with Josue and his team. Highly recommend this company. They finished the job earlier than they quoted which was a pleasant surprise
