Sales person literally disappeared after my install after promising to install bird guard. Had no issues contacting me while there was still paperwork to sign. Now I have pigeon feces all over my house and birds on my roof. Do not do business with this company without screenshots. Very shady would not recommend at all!

I was promised a $500 promotion and the installation of a critter guard—both clearly outlined in my signed contract. Nearly a year later, neither has been fulfilled. Despite repeated follow-ups, the installer now claims they were never paid by the prime contractor and therefore refuse to honor the agreement.

The system itself functions well, but the complete lack of accountability and blatant disregard for contractual obligations is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone.

UPDATE: 1Solar made it right. They sent me the check and at some point sent someone out to install the critter guard. The issues were mostly the installer so thank you.

The solar system that we got only covers half of what we need. So now we have a high solar bill and a high energy bill. I recommend you don’t trust the salesman to do the calculations. Do the calculations yourself add up the kilowatts you use in a year total and convert that to megawatts and make sure they offer you enough megawatts to cover what you use for the year or else you’ll end up being $400-$500 (solar and energy bill together) a month every single a month. If the system they are offering doesn’t cover what you use just say no. I realized that we use about 24 megawatts a year but the contract they offered only has 12. The system has not saved us any money and they can’t help after they’re done installing.

We are extremely unhappy with 1Solar and they are impossible to speak with anyone that has a clue. We “bundled” our energy efficiency to include solar, windows and appliances. NEVER were we told that they don’t actually schedule the windows, and we had to do so, so this was super delayed. We also used the company they said to which has since gone out of business and no way to figure out how to use that warranty on the windows now?!?! We still pay an energy bill on top of our solar (more than the $18 connection fee we were told we would pay). They also put some of our panels on our Portico that actually caused damage and now it leaks when it rains. The sales man we worked with upsold is the world and then they didn’t deliver on any of it and when we finally spoke with a a”manager” we were told the salesman essentially lied to us about everything. 10/10 DO NOT use this company!

I bought a house that the previous Solar Panel company (Titan) was out of business. Many unknowns with the non-working Solar Panel from the previous seller. Then I found Solar One company. I am amazingly happy and thankful for the incredible assistance from Ezra at Solar One. Ezra guides me through the whole process to help me to have a working Solar panel again. There have been countless help from Ezra, this has been a flawless and pleasant experience. Yeah! I have a working Solar Panel again. Thanks so much for your great help for the super smooth process, Ezra!

Tyler from 1solar gave my family and I outstanding service. from the very start to the end he always kept us in the loop making sure everything went smoothly. My only regret was not getting solar sooner. Thank you Solar1 for the great work.

Ezra was fantastic. I have been waiting a week to be scheduled for my Solar to be fixed, I am not generating any power and haven’t been since April. I’ve made several calls and have had no success to anyone returning my calls or fulfilling their commitments to follow. I spoke with Ezra this morning and asked for a manager. He stepped in and said that he will get it taken care of. He committed to calling me back within 40 minutes for an update, he followed up within that time frame to inform me that he was still working on it. He then called shortly after with great news that he was able to have someone out at my home at 10am. Amazing execution and follow up. You have a sensational employee.

I’m giving 1Solar a 2 star review even though I never actually was able to do business with them. I sure tried though. I wasn’t looking for a new solar installation. I needed a service call for some minor issues with my panels installed by a company no longer in business but whom 1Solar had a previous partnership with. The issue I had with 1Solar is that they are nearly impossible contact, especially by phone. They do not list a phone number on their website - anywhere. The only way to contact them is with an online form and it took 5 days to hear back from that with nothing but a promise to contact me in another three - which they did not do. I did exchange emails with a service representative but when I asked to speak on the phone to discuss scheduling for a service call the promised return call never came. Any phone number I found on the internet or email message just goes to voicemail and is not returned. After a week of trying to get a simple service call scheduled for solar services, I gave up and called another company. I hope someone else has better luck than I did with 1Solar.

I have to say this has been one of the very best experiences I have ever had. Ezra was amazing. He kept me informed on everything that was happening throughout the installation of my solar panels. They were quick efficient and did a great job. So anyone looking to install Solar I would highly recommend this company .

To put it mildly, this company is atrocious. From beginning to present, this has been an absolute nightmare. Installation appointments were cancelled without notice on three separate occasions, proper equipment to access my roof was not obtained. The owners of the company were emailing me daily, and they ultimately paid for my utility bills for 3+ months

Fast forward to present, my system has been down for almost a month and I still don't have a repair technician scheduled. Customer service told me I'd have to wait to hear from their repair teams to setup an appointment and that was 14 days ago. I sat on hold for customer service today for nearly an hour before the call disconnected and I wasn't even able to reach somebody.

They charge far too much for their systems and their ability to provide even decent service is non-existent. Spend your money elsewhere, or be prepared to have your time and money wasted by this company.

My boyfriend and I got Solar panels for out roof and we love them! We got a little more than we needed because we’re looking to get an electric car soon. We don’t pay NVenergy anymore and we’re producing more than needed. Kept us informed on the whole process and very professional. Highly recommend

I normally like to wait to review a company and if product to really see the value, I’ve had my solar system for a little over a year and it has been such an amazing experience!!! I am saving so much! I was on a equal monthly payment program for my energy bill and that had been replaced by a solar bill that’s about 30% lower.
I highly recommend 1solar, their customer service is truly remarkable.

I went solar in February and I’ve been having a great experience I got 2 bill this summer which was expected since I didn’t have credits but it was way lower than I expected and Travis has been very communicative throughout the entire process I never thought I would switch to solar but I’m glad I did

Initially buying our home, I was nervous about the decision to go solar. But after this summer in Vegas, I’m glad I did! Not only was the entire process easy and quick, but Genesis and Travis were great in communicating everything so the installation was ready to go and seamless. The people that walked me through this process made it a fun experience and in Vegas, we’re saving quite a bit thanks to those two!!

Company sales and the team that installs are complete scam and joke. They sold me new panels and installed used panels. They do nothing but deflect and ignore, once they get the money they dont care. Also dont deliver on what they agree to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! SCAM!!! RIP OFF!! U CAN GET THIS DONE FOR HALF THE PRICE ASWELL. They also dont honor warranty!

This company is a true scam frfr … please do not go through them … i just bought my house a while back ,they came to my door and sold me a dream … they said that my bill would be like 17-30 or so a month … plus my payment for the panel … then said i would get 7000 back on my taxes for them (lied) been receiving extreme high energy bill . They went up on my solar payment with GOODLEAP …. So i been callin the company regarding these high bills … saying something has to be wrong with the panels… a couple time the panel weren’t even. Producing energy …. I calll
nv energy to see how much the panel are saving me … they said they not saving me nothing . But bout 20 dallor off my bill remind you these 400 or more energy bills … i even called goodleap and told them what happening … “they said well the panel are producing and. U need more panel for your home which is another 30,000 loan to get “ …. I even ask them to remove them they was charging me for that and still pay for the panel still … so with all that being said I’m correctly filing. For a law sue with the company n goodleap for scamming me and not even tryna help me 🙄

One of the worst choices I’ve ever made was counting on this company to be forthright about who they are what they could do and how Solar would help me. They did nothing but bring people over my house who could give a crap about how they treated my home. Everyone washed their hands of any responsibility tied to their shortcomings. And now, even though I was given so many promises of how Solar would help me all that I’m doing is paying them $750 a month and still paying a regular electricity bill from Nevada energy even though I have a massive unit that should cover all of my electricity needs. The system is less than a year old and it has never done its job the way they promised. I am now getting ripped off monthly because I chose to go with this company. When I started with them, there was no reviews. There was no bad reviews about them because they were just starting off. After getting into a contract every single person I have read for the reviews that are from real people, they’re all saying the exact same thing that I am saying. Not anything that they have said to me has come true. The worst company ever.

I needed help with getting a Solar Panel Array approved by the county (on a time limit). Called around a lot and couldn’t find much help until I spoke to Patrick! He was the only person who was knowledgeable enough to help me through the process in a way that made sense. If youre looking to get something done you can call anyone, but if you want someone thorough, who cares about your end results, Id recommend giving Elko Engineering a call!

We brought in Elko Engineering for a data center upgrade. Patrick knew his stuff, handled the job efficiently, and kept us in the loop without over-complicating things. If you need someone reliable who can actually get the job done with tight deadlines, Elko is a solid choice.

Wish I could leave zero stars. I used this company because this was who my builder (Harmony Homes, another 1star rating) used as a subcontractor. I had a quick run through on how to use it and it is not a user-friendly system . I had trouble from the beginning cameras not working and now cameras do not work at all I can't get anybody who can figure out how this system even works and the owner of this company won't even bother to return my phone call this is a terrible company he installs the system doesn't know his equipment at all. I spent all of this money and the system is totally worthless I have to start over Run don't walk !
