Home Services reviews in Reno, Nevada

We’ve been using Corey’s for years. For all the services they offer. They’re always willing to work with our schedule and when asked, they will give me a heads up when they’re on their way to be sure our dog is inside. Last week Matthias went above and beyond to allow me to run home when I had a bit of a hiccup with my schedule! Thanks again for your patience, kindness and understanding Matthias! Much appreciated

Wow, first off… AVOID THEIR SERVICE!
I have been a customer with them for a few years now and they do the bare minimum. I do not “yelp” ever, but I felt like this deserved one.
After being a customer for 3+ years, I have had the full experience. I have had them come out weekly for front yard up keep. The quality was sub-par. We have uneven patches of grass throughout the yard due to improper care, and I cannot tell you how many sprinklers I have had to replace myself because of their recklessness. This is just the start.
Over a year ago, I installed a concrete patio and awning in which another company drove heavy machinery over our backyard grass. Almost every sprinkler head was busted in the process. I contacted Cory’s Lawn Service to replace every single sprinkler head and stem as 8 out of the 9 of them were busted. They sent someone out, which took over a couple weeks, and they replaced only 5 of them. BUT, they charged me for all 9 of them. When I turned the sprinklers on, it liked like the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas. I called to tell them to discuss how dissatisfied I was with their service. Eventually, after another couple weeks, they made it right.
We kept using them as they were consistent with their scheduling. A year goes by and I call about winterizing our sprinklers. They had the audacity to tell me, the home owner, they refuse to do any services with me but would be willing to interact with someone else because of the last interaction I had with them. The interaction in which they only did 50% of what they charged me for. Unfortunately, because of their receptionist (Aubrey I believe is her name) they have lost a consistent on time paying customer forever. The fact is, some people are always offended but never ashamed. I feel as if this should be the slogan for Cory’s lawn service. -

Good people to work with

Nice place, they even have their own Nursery.
-
Horrible staff that are constantly on drugs and abusive to employees, especially temp staff. Marginal landscaping at best.

I was looking for a new yard company and thanks to all the 1 star reviews I will look elsewhere. Thanks google reviews 10 stars

Wow! I called this place to start new service and they literally turned me down. They said they didn't want to do new services and only want to work with there contracted customers.

dispatcher/scheduler requires 3 to 4 calls before returning initial call. then requires additional calls to actually schedule work. onsite employees are excellent!

Don’t use this company. They ruined my front yard at Sierra loma and refuse to take responsibility for it. Pruning shrubs and trees in November who does that ?? And of course they are refusing to pay or replace the damaged trees. They even had the nerve to say the limbs broke from the snow even though in the photos it’s clear the limbs were cut.

My experience is on the road. Twice the driver of one of their trucks almost hit me, drifting into my lane, then cut me off. Watched as he drifted in and out if the lane, speeding, cut off another driver with unsafe lane change, then weaving in the lane. Guy is either on drugs, a sleep at the wheel, drunk, texting or just a really, really bad driver. This company might want to drug test their drivers.

These guys are hired by the Double Diamond HOA and they are spraying poison right into the wetlands. Too much work, I guess, to use a weed wacker to remove weeds, so they spray poison all over the place. We are seeing frogs and fish dying all over the place now. This company does not care about regulations or the environment. Don't let your kids play anywhere they are spraying (parks, wetlands, bike trails, etc.) When we all come down with cancer, you can thank Monsanto and companies like this.

This company is responsible for the maintenance of the front yards and common area in Wyndgate Village as well as some local parks and street areas. They constantly flood the grass areas and despite complaints do not fix broken sprinklers or drip lines in a timely manner or sometimes at all. Their contract requires that they edge lawns and remove leaves, neither of which have happened this year. However, I am most upset over an event that happened this morning. Three weeks ago one of the employees damaged one of my sidewalk lamps so badly it cannot be repaired. The damaged lamp was shown to the owner of the company this morning, Mike, and his response was, "How do you say 'I'm sorry' in Spanish?" That's all. So, choose this company, choose to have flippant responses to damage and poor service.

They are plowing a parking lot with snow and ice. Driving fast, backing up fast, not looking for cars. Literally missed us by an inch and only because we laid on the horn. Hot dogging with the truck and skidding around. Wow. Seemed pretty upset we dared to park. If National Landscaping staff want to play in the snow with equipment they may want to do this at 3 am before anything is open.

With 4 young kids standing around, and you have a cage tractor to load rock in buckets, why do I have to shovel my own. Plenty of social distancing. What do you pay them to do, i'm just curious???
