My experience with George Brown at Brown Electric has been extremely negative!! I have asked Mr. Brown NUMEROUS times to please refund my $749.00 deposit. My estimate does not state anywhere that my refund is NON-REFUNDABLE. Furthermore, it was an estimate and not even a contract which was given to me. I have sent him emails, I have called and left messages and have sent him certified and regular mail requesting my deposit be returned. I have been asking him to refund my deposit since December 2012. I, now, have filed a complaint with the BBB and NJ Consumer Affairs, as well as consulted an attorney. I find it to be ridiculous that I have had to request for my deposit of $749.00 to be returned this many times. I have decided to utilize another company. I do not wish to work with Brown Electric and find it very frustrating that I must go through so forms of contacting them to request a refund. BROWN ELECTRIC, DO THE RIGHT THING AND REFUND MY MONEY!

Called Brown Electric on a Saturday when only part of our house lost power and was able to speak with the owner directly. George took the time to discuss the problem as well as possible solutions. Since it was not an emergency we scheduled an appointment for the next Monday. George both called before coming to let us know an exact time and was on time. Most importantly, George provided excellent and exceptional service.

Professional, thorough, expert upgrade to my 120 year old home. One of the few
Companies who would even tackle a knob and tube remediation. Other companies wanted to knock walls down which is last thing we wanted in a historic home. I cannot say enough positive things about George and his crew. They were excellent and knowledgeable and so friendly. I highly recommend George Brown Electric!

George Brown electric came out with very short notice and completed a job in time that had a hard deadline. The technician was very knowledgeable and the owner was very tentative throughout the whole job making sure everything was done correctly. The price was more than fair. I will be using them in the future and will recommend them to others who need electrical services.

Mr. Brown and his team were excellent from start to finish. They replaced my outdated electrical panel, installed a couple of ceiling fans, and added an outlet that I needed as a last minute addition. Not only was he the most affordable but also the most responsive. It took 3 days to hear back from the other guys. Mr. Brown’s guys were done under time, went above and beyond on professionalism, and left my house spotless after the installation of the ceiling fans left some dust. They were great and I will definitely be using them again!

Great job by George and helper. I got a quick call after submitting form online, and he came out that day to look at and give estimate. Then, they both came out on a Sunday and repaired the main electric line and meter box that are on the side of my home that was damaged by the storm. I attached a before and after. Run by a great bunch of guys that really know their stuff

I called for electrical repair and a rude old woman answered the phone and after I explained that I thought one of my fuses was blown she asked me if I was going to call around and when I said yes she said she didn't want my business. Skip the place.

I would highly recommend Lightworks Electric. They were a pleasure to deal with from end to end. From my initial meeting with Tony for an estimate to communicating about the contract with Stephanie, through the installation and completion of the job by Ray and George, it could not have gone better. I'm converting my garage from a storage area to a fitness room and a work area. Originally, the entire garage only had one receptacle on the ceiling for the garage door opener, and one very ugly, fluorescent shop light which didn't light the whole room well. The project entailed installing new lighting in the form of six recessed lights, two dedicated outlets for fitness equipment, and three more outlets on the other walls. They also installed three lights in my upstairs attic - no lighting there either. Tony, Stephanie and Ray communicated with me on everything, answered all my questions, and were genuinely nice and honest. They were the utmost professionals, practiced all Covid-19 protocols, were neat, and cleaned up. And most important - did quality work at a fair and reasonable price. Our garage is now much more comfortable and more importantly - USEABLE. I'm glad I found them and will definitely hire them again for other projects. I would sum up my experience with Lightworks Electric as quality workmanship at reasonable prices. I can highly recommend them.

I had an installation done at my home and needed an electrician to come out and complete a survey and a estimate for the project. Lightworks was highly recommended and now I can see why. Their service was top notch. They worked outside for 8 hrs in 95+ heat and got the top done. They walked me through every step of the way to ensure that I was comfortable and secure in their work.

Tony and Steph from Lightworks are great. Tony and his crew came out to run a 240v line outside my garage, so I could plug my EV in to charge at home. They made sure I had the extended weather protection cover, that it was in a conveniently placed location, and to make sure the outlet worked with my portable level 2 car charger. I couldn’t be happier with the work they did! I highly recommend calling Lightworks for any of your electrical needs!

Tony, Greg, and the entire Light Works Electric team are truly the best. If you've ever called a contractor of any kind, getting a call back and having them follow up is almost impossible. Not Light Works Electric - they call you back every time and their follow up is amazing!!! We had some major work done upgrading our lighting in our home and needed three new lines added. The work was done perfectly and on time. They are beyond professional, friendly, and very respectful of your time and home. Pricing is very reasonable, especially for the great work they do. I will only use Light Works Electric for all my electrical contractor needs. Don't waist your time looking around - make them your first and only call. You'll be happy you did.

Tony from Lightworks Electric installed an EV charger (see photo) at my residence including a new, 60amp 240v circuit and an additional outside 120v electrical outlet with a weatherproof cover. He went far beyond my expectations by researching the best EV charger to meet my needs after conducting an onsite inspection, preparing the permit application, obtaining additional parts, efficiently completing the installation, and thoroughly cleaning up afterward. Steph responds to email questions within seconds after I click the “send key.” As may be witnessed in this photo, Tony takes well-deserved pride in his meticulous work where he maintained the pristine integrity of my log cabin. Note to Tony and Steph: I ran out of your business cards for referrals with my 5.0 customer satisfaction.
