Reviews of local pros in Edison, New Jersey

Finding ICU and working with Steve and his crew has been an absolute blessing. Steve quickly diagnosed the problem with a video inspection and was able to change our entire sewer line with minimal disruption. They work quickly, efficiently and neatly. I cannot recommend them enough!

Outstanding experience. Steve and his crew were great. Despite numerous setbacks due from the age of the building and the lack of records (and finding railroad tracks buried under the street!) , they tackled every challenge and kept the sewer replacement on budget. When they were done they put everything back just the way it was. Highly recommend them for anyone dealing with serious plumbing issues.

Residential trenchless pipe bursting sewer line replacement

Fair pricing, nice crew, did an immaculate job cleaning up after. Would recommend to anyone needing a sewer line replaced who doesn't want their entire front yard dug up.

We had a Sewer Line that needed to be replaced in 2 places. Steve and his team were amazing. Came out the same day to run a camera and began work the next day. Took extreme care of our property while doing the work, including taking apart our front porch and putting it back together. Extremely professional, and Steve checked in with us throughout the day, each day of the project. A+ Job.

Steve was incredibly helpful talking to the insurance adjuster about a break in the sewer line in our house. He was great at identifying the problems and finding the best way to fix them. Really grateful for his help!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We’ve had sewer line issues for years and even had it “repaired” two years ago, which only made things worse. Then we found Steve and his crew at Integrated Construction and Utilities, and they were phenomenal!

Steve did a camera inspection before and during the job, explained everything clearly, and even fixed a section he wasn’t satisfied with — at no extra charge. The crew compacted the soil, replanted our little tree, seeded the grass, and left our yard looking untouched.

These guys are the gods of sewer repair! Honest, skilled, and meticulous — don’t make the mistake of going with anyone else.

I hired ICUNJ to repair our building’s sewer lateral in downtown Jersey City. From start to finish, we were blown away by Steve and his crew’s ability and professionalism.

Our building had been experiencing backup for YEARS due to the collapsed sewer line in at least two spots. I had been struggling to find someone that would be willing and able to undertake the project, and most importantly for me, to find someone that would do the trenchless/pipe bursting method for our case. Other plumbers would only take the job by either doing spot repairs or digging up every inch from the trap to the city main to fully replace the lateral. Spot repairs in retrospect wouldn’t have been effective and a complete excavation comes with huge costs— especially in a place like Jersey City where we’ve learned that sewer laterals are frequently buried 10’ or more. Spot repairs jobs were also quoted higher and complete excavation of course much higher than ICUNJ!

Steve came in and got the job done with next to zero disruption, and saved me and my building’s tens thousands of dollars, fully replacing our building’s century+ year old clay pipe with something I know will last until I’m long gone.

Do yourself a favor and hire Steve and ICUNJ for your job. I can’t recommend them enough!

If you’re looking for a trusted, knowledgeable, quick response, professional and good customer service to solve your collapsed sewage line don’t look any further ICUNJ is it. We didn’t have to break the bank and the personal at the seen were extremely kind. Steve the person at the helm clearly understood the nightmare we were living, through the process of excavating and repairs Steve kept us calm & informed. He also gave us great tips in keeping our sewage line clean. Steve, you and your team were God sent! Thank you!!

I don't usually write reviews but I have to write a review for Steve and his team. I called 2 other sewer companies before deciding to go with Integrated construction and utilities for my main sewer line replacement. From the first phone call I could tell right away Steve was very knowledgeable in his field. Our trench-less replacement took couple days with minimal interruption. Steve was onsite throughout the entire project. It is hard to find skilled contractors with integrity these days. Steve delivered what he promised unlike other companies with hidden costs. He was hands on and coordinated everything smoothly from obtaining the permits to getting the town inspector to sign off at completion. I am so thankful for Steve and ICUNJ. I cannot recommend them enough.

I have dealt with many contractors over the years, so I know good from the bad. Steve and his crew were 100% pros. It was beyond a pleasure to work with them.
I needed a sewer line replaced and they not only did a quality job. No detail was overlooked. When it came time to clean up and rebuild they left things better then when they found them. I only wish Steve did more because I would use him. When you find somebody whose work ethic you respect you stick with it. He had his nephew with him helping out. Also another class act like his uncle. I need my sidewalks replaced soon, and since that is what the his nephew does full time, I'm going to hire him when the time comes. Strictly on this job and the work ethic I saw displayed. 100% recommended.
