Repairman was on time, friendly, and efficiently performed the repair. The service was better than what the manufacturer of the appliance offered.

My washing machine was showing an error code and there was a significant amount of water I believed to have come from the washer.

I called Pay Less for service after finding them online and reading many positive reviews. I was given an appointment for the same day within a few hours. Demarco, who took my call, was courteous and attentive. I received a confirmation text and an email immediately afterwards with my appointment details.

Ty came on time for the service appointment and was knowledgeable, polite, personable, professional and thorough. He took the time to truly diagnose the issue and helped determine that the water was actually coming from a backed up sewer pipe. I’m grateful for his expertise so I can now avoid a more serious issue down the road. I was able to call my condo association and get a plumber here ASAP. The error code was also fixed. Ty ran several tests to be sure.

He also recommended replacing the hoses for the washer, as he saw some rust which could cause leakage down the road. The total bill was under $150. Beyond reasonable for Ty’s time and experience.

I highly recommend Pay Less, and I will be using them, and Ty, for any future repair needs. Thank you!

I’ve been using Pay Less for several years. In particular, Ty has been outstanding. He solved a problem with my fridge a few years ago that has extended its life. Today he worked his magic on my dishwasher. Always willing to go the extra mile. My pleasure to enthusiastically recommend this company. Any skeptics, you are welcome to try my dishwasher.

Ty was excellent! He quickly diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher. Although it was not able to be repaired due to discontinued part on old machine, I had the knowledge of exactly what the problem was. Thanks to Ty for his expertise and professionalism!

Ty was extremely professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend Pay Less Repair Services for any future repairs if needed for my household appliances.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews. Unfortunately, this business changed exhorbitant fees for very subpar service.

I needed a relatively simple repair on my washing machine. The mechanism locking the washer lid was broken — and needed to be replaced. I called the manufacturer — and they directed me to where the parts could be purchased. The manufacturer also advised me to utilize a professional appliance repair service, rather than attempting repairs myself.

“Ty the Repair Guy", the repairman assigned to me, had glowing reviews — and I was feeling confident about this business.

To start with the positives, Ty the Repair Guy arrived at 9:30 am. I didn't have to spend the entire day, waiting for the repairman to arrive. Ty appeared to be friendly and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, the amount that I was charged wasn't anywhere near commensurate with the quality of services rendered.

I was charged a total of $459 — for a simple replacement of a lid-locking part on my top-loading washer — and for the repairman to move the washer several feet in my basement. The repair service wasn’t transparent about rates.

This business charges $100 for the initial "diagnostics" — and this amount isn’t credited towards the cost of labor. Then, it’s $200 for the repairman's labor. Then, it’s $169 to move and install a washer — even if it's just moving the appliance a few feet — and without dragging any heavy equipment up and down the stairs. It’s what your neighbor would do for free — or in exchange for lunch.

Even ignoring the ridiculous prices charged, the repairman couldn't even make sure that the parts were evenly aligned. He insisted that the parts couldn’t be evenly aligned — even though everything was flush and even initially.

There was also some minor rust around the perimeter — which Ty said was very common — and which he didn’t have the products to remove. It's ridiculous that when a business charges you $450 for 1.5 hours of labor, the repairman doesn't even carry basic rust remover — while dealing with rusty appliances.

Ty had also left shards of chipping paint and rust in the drum of the machine. I’m extremely concerned that some residue might have gotten into the motor — potentially compromising it's function in the future.

When I pointed out that things were misaligned and that there were gaps that there weren't previously, Ty became irritated — and insisted that he couldn't get everything to align.

Watching him work, I was increasingly concerned that he might potentially damage something. I stayed silent — figuring out that he's the expert and knows what he's doing.

Ty was bumbling around, had no equipment to lift and properly align the parts — and I was concerned that he would break something, while trying to repair things.

On a positive note, my washing machine is working. Still, charging close to $500 for a very simple repair is outrageous. I feel fleeced — and wouldn't recommend this business.

My experience with Pay Less Repair was seamless! The price was fair and it was a job well done.

I needed to replace my Washing Machine gasket because it was leaking every time I Ran the cycle. DeMarco helped me order the part over the phone and sent out a technician to fix it within 3 days. Ty my technician was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and did an excellent job with the gasket replacement. Highly recommend !

Ty did an excellent job installing my washer and dryer. This was the second time that he had installed appliances in my home. He does a very thorough job. He inspects his work, and takes the time out to explain all the necessary details. Ty is an assest to your organization. I will continue to use Pay Less Repair Services for all of my future appliance needs.

Issue: my washer was leaking water.
    The plus points:
    They were fast to respond.
    The repair person was courteous.
Initial diagnosis was $89, which was great.

    The solution:
it was determined that my washer was OK the pipe behind was leaking. I asked him if he could get it from Home Depot (costs about $15 to $50 depending on quality, size etc). He was ok with it.

    The bad.
I thought he said 219 and later he said it was 290 (sounds similar). I gave him the benefit of the doubt and paid what he asked.

The irony: I could have gotten a new washer with 5 year extended warranty from Costco for 600 which would have come with the hose he replaced.

    My verdict.
    1. They solved my issue and perhaps made some quick extra cash on the side, because of their accent.
    2. They lost my future business because I believe I was entrapped. Perhaps, it’s their business model.
    3. I called them because Google verified them. Perhaps, this is why I don’t trust Google and would never buy their core products.

Very dependable and easy to work with Appliance repair service. (Except for Jessica, the AI phone assistant.) Ta Da Appliance Guy was prompt and figured out our Samsung Dryer problem immediately.

The repair guy was very friendly and professional. The dryer was over 20 years old and He really tried to fix my dryer. My motor went out. Although I was very satisfied with the service. Thank you. I would highly recommend PAYLESS REPAIR SERVICE

I have used this company a few times. The first couple of services were minor diagnostics, and the company was very helpful in solving the issues. Recently in May, I called them for an issue with my dryer, and for which I was charged $553.26, which solved the problem. This is less than 2 months ago, and now the same issue came back. I have tried to call them for days and left a message that the same issue came back, so that they can come, as the fix is still under warranty. I also left a message, so that someone can call, but no one is responding to my calls. On every instance, I am speaking with their AI bot. I will provide an update and upgrade my ratings, if they get back to me and solve the problem.

Zero stars would be more accurate. I called this company because of the excellent reviews. My 3-year-old refrigerator was accumulating ice in the upper corner of the door, on the freezer side. I could see some drops all over the side of the door due to condensation. This technician said it was the ice dispenser part that wasn't closing and it was allowing air inside. He charged me $559.69 for the ice dispenser and labor cost. Just the part was $269.99 when I checked the cost of this part in Whirlpool, it was $65. He charged me $200 over the regular cost of this part. He guarantees the work for 90 days. The next day after he changed the part, the problem continued. He charged me so much money for nothing. When I called to tell him that the fridge has the same problem and I expected that for the money he charged me he would come back and fix it. He said the labor won't be charged but if the part is needed I have to pay. I told him that I'm not going to be paying for more parts because he made a wrong diagnosis. He has a responsibility to give an honest assessment and charge when he resolves the issue. I'm not going to be paying for overcharged parts because he doesn't know what he is doing. I don't think I'm the only person who feels cheated and taken advantage of after dealing with this company. After dealing with this person, Im under the impression that all these positive reviews are not coming from real customers, or at least most of them. Do yourself a favor and don't get deceived by the name. You would end up paying more, no less. I feel robbed.

This business had positive reviews online so we decided to use them to repair our 3 yr old Samsung refridge which wasn't cooling the fridge but the freezer portion was work properly.

“Ty the Repair tech assigned to the case, had good reviews same as with the company. So we felt good using them for the repair.

Ty arrive on time as scheduled , very friendly and approachable. After chatting with him, he seem knowledgable in his field so we felt at ease.

After his inspection on the fridge he say a part need to be replaced and we were ok with it so proceed with the service althought the cost was highter than we expected nearly $700. He came a few day later with the part to complete the repair and said it it will take 24 hours to get back to normal temperature and not to open the fridge during that time. 3 days later we checked and it still wasn't working. We call again and he came again, he messed around with the fridge and said we need to order another part for an additional fee ( fee include in the cost I mentioned above).
He came again to install the part and said wait a few day before opening the fridge. We waited 2 day and agin it not working.

After much frustration and already having purchased a new fridge for temp use, we finally decided to issue a refund so we both aggreeed that would the best option.

I receive a partial refund of $350 due to Ty's limited ability to issue refunds and was told I will receive the difference at a later date.

On 8/29/25 I notified Ty the partial refund was received and to please proceed with the refund for the difference. As of today I have not received it nor have I been able to get in contact with him or owner DeMarco or anyone the office. I email the company numerous time but no respond.

Very disappointed but their lack of communication and poor business practice. As a result, my next option will be to report them to the BB for poor businesses practice .

Work of advise, do not use this company for any kind of repairs.
