Bill and his crew are just awesome. Professional, punctual, affordable, and just an all around great group of folks. They were patient and answered all of my questions. As long as they remain in business they'll have mine!

We needed some ceiling lights and outlets put into the house and dependable electric did a great job. Bill's guys were thorough and got all the work done in good time. They cleaned up after themselves and was very cautious about placing tarps on the floor. We received 3 quotes and by far they were the most reasonable. I would definitely use them again for our next project!

Dependable Electric Co. is great! I heard about them via the Union Township FB group. I needed to get an upgraded electrical panel, meter box, a wired Ring Camera above the garage and new wires coming to the house from the street. Joe came by and took a look at everything I needed done. He took his time and explained everything in detail to me. He sent me a quote the next day and communicated the next steps if we decided to go with them. They took care of the permit and said they would be here on Friday morning at 7:30am. His guys Rob and Matt came on time and were great! They were professional and polite and did a great job in 92 degree weather. They tested and labeled the panel and cleaned up after they were done. I am very happy with the work and will use Dependable Electric anytime I need work done. Please don't waste your time looking for other contractors who do not come to scheduled consultations or send quotes if they do come. Dependable Electric is the BEST! Thank you!

A few years ago, Dependable Electric installed a cheap panel in our home, and we’ve had nothing but problems since. Recently, the situation turned dangerous—sparks started coming out of the panel, and now we have no hot water. This is an emergency, and the company has shown zero concern.

We scheduled an appointment weeks ago, but when we called to confirm, they claimed we weren’t on the schedule and tried to make it seem like we called the wrong number—which we absolutely didn’t. After we voiced our concerns, they canceled our appointment altogether.

The woman I spoke with on the phone was rude and completely incompetent. Instead of helping us during a stressful situation, she made things worse with her attitude and lack of professionalism.

This company is unreliable and unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

This company should be ashamed to call themselves “Dependable.” A few years ago, they installed a cheap, bottom-of-the-barrel electrical panel in our home, and it’s been a disaster ever since. Now the situation has become outright dangerous — sparks are flying out of the panel, and we’ve lost hot water. This is a full-blown emergency, and these people couldn’t care less.

We booked an appointment WEEKS ago, and when we called to confirm, they acted like they’d never heard of us — tried to gaslight us into thinking we called the wrong number (we didn’t). Then, instead of fixing their own mess, they canceled our appointment like we were the problem.

To make matters worse, the woman who answered the phone was rude, dismissive, and completely incompetent. No professionalism, no compassion, just attitude and excuses. She clearly had no idea what she was doing and made an already stressful situation even worse.

This company is a complete joke. Their work is unsafe, their staff is unqualified, and their customer service is nonexistent. They endangered our home and then abandoned us when we needed help the most.

If you value your safety, sanity, and money — DO NOT use Dependable Electric. They’re not just unreliable — they’re a liability.

I called Dependable Electric at 10:20 AM because of a potentially dangerous situation (smoke coming from an outlet). The person who answered assured me their crew was out on jobs but would come as soon as they were done, between 12 and 3.

I didn’t call anyone else because I wanted to give them the business and trusted they would show up. When I didn’t hear anything, I called back around 2:15 and left a voicemail. Later, I finally got a call back — at 2:30 only to be told they wouldn’t be able to come at all..!! When I reminded them they had told me someone would come, they insisted they only said they would “try.”

This left me without help for a serious electrical problem and wasted valuable time that I could have spent finding another electrician. To be told I should have called someone else after being asked to wait was extremely unprofessional.

I would not recommend Dependable Electric to anyone who values reliability or clear communication. Ironically, their name is the exact opposite of my experience.
