They were very professional and courteous. They explain everything that they would be doing. He evan let me know if it was ok to move some things, which I thought was good customer service. I would definitely use the service again. Thanks

Contacted 1800Heaters through Home Depot as I was dealing with a Rheem warranty for unit purchased at the Depot. Spoke with Claudia (sales) and Scott (scheduling/service). As this process was started on Fri(11/07), my new heater was efficiently installed on Monday (11/10). Mark C. the service tech was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and explained everything and answered many questions.
I was informed the old unit was being returned to Home Depot Edison, so I just need to follow-up and check on the outstanding warranty credit.
    Completely satisfied with 1800Heaters.

They were very responsive to our issue and got it taken care of very quickly. Our Tech that installed our Hot Water tank was great and stayed in contact throughout the day as he worked to be able to get this done same day.

We were out of hot water for several days until I called 1800HEATERS. The switchboard transfored my call to your dispatcher who said she can send someone here tomorrow morning between 9am and 12 noon. They arrived at 8:30 am the next morning and within 2 hours they done. They emptied the old tank making sure not to make a mess as they took the old tank out and made sure everything was clean when they finished. They did an AMAZING JOB and i would highly recommend 1800HEATERS for any of your plumbing problems!

I had purchased a new kitchen countertop, undermount sink, and faucet through Lowe's. 1-800-heaters was the plumbing servicer they use. They arrived on time once they were scheduled to disconnect my plumbing, and replaced the shutoff valves as well. The work was done very fast and done right. Once the countertop and undermount sink were installed, they came back the next day. They reconnected the plumbing, and installed the new faucet. Once again the job was done very fast. I would definitely use them again, independent from Lowe's, if the need were to arise.

They were prepared and accommodating and, although it’s only been a little over a month or so, so far, we are pleased with the result. We would do business with them again.

Excellent service from start to finish. The electric water heater installation was a tight fit in a closet, but the plumbers handled it efficiently and professionally. The job was completed quickly, the work area was left neat and clean, and the team was courteous throughout. Highly recommend.

I did not sign up for a quote of any sorts and for the last two days I’ve been chained called - 4 times yesterday and 3 times today starting at 6a. I reached out to be removed from the list and Laura not only had an attitude, but also hung up on me.

Called back and the gentleman that helped apologized and hopefully fixed everything.

You might want to think twice about using them because clearly they don’t know how to treat people properly.

Company was very responsive and thorough. Helped me understand the levels of quality in the water heaters to make a decision best for me. They were 600 dollars cheaper than what Pseg quoted me after they marked the old one unsafe, but I do know Pseg quoted for a better quality A.O Smith which I already had in my home.

They were to my house within an hour and a half of the call to install it. It took 3 hours to install. Only issue was technician stated they sent him with a tall water heater and I had a short installed so it would be a tight fit. I showed him where I sent pictures of the current water heater to the number requested prior to arrival.

He did get it in there to get it done and I’m happy with it. No mess no cleanup. There were some extra charges due to needing a new chimney pipe but that’s to be expected with old equipment.

I do feel the technician could’ve been a little more respectful. He was on the phone Thea lot of the time and I thought twice he was talking to me but he indicated he was on the phone. I didn’t realize because he had earbuds in. Also, he complained a few times to the person about the job and how his day was going. Otherwise he was a nice person and no other issue.

The installers did an exceptional job of putting in our new heat pump hot water heater. They removed the old one as well as an additional tank that was no longer in use. They explained how everything worked. And got everything all set up. The room was left clean and neat. The team was professional and courteous. We would definitely work with them again. And we couldn’t be happier.

I contacted Home Depot regarding a new water heater. They contract this company out to do water heaters. The guy who came to install our water heater on Friday, February 6, 2026, was ok but the service light was on after the install. He came back to the house but didn’t know how to remedy it. We were told to give it 24 hours for the light to go out. The next day the light went out BUT the alarm went off and it was blinking a code regarding a water leak. Of course the service light came on and remained on. We also had water on the floor. So, we called back and was transferred around and spoken to like garbage by one of their employees (I think Mark) who blamed us for the leak because we declined an expansion tank. We aren’t plumbers and the install guy didn’t make a big deal of it. Why would we know this was necessary and I didn’t need to be belittled. Why is this decision left to the homeowner is knows nothing about hot water heaters? Bad practice. Needless to say, a nice gentleman named Angel came out and installed the expansion tank. The service light was still on. He told us to give it a day or two. This was Saturday. On Monday, the alarm went off and the light was still on. We called and were told to give it a couple more days. On Wednesday, we called and was told they’d call us back. Two and a half hours later I called them back because no one called me back and was told a plumber was assigned. We’d hear from him soon. 45 minutes later I get a call from service and was told the owner said to give it a couple of more days for the service light to go out. I explained that our house is for sale and this won’t pass the permit inspection and will interfere with selling our house. If I was closing on our house tomorrow, I’d be in trouble. We’ve been giving it time since the expansion tank was installed on Saturday. This gentleman said he would contact the owner again and try to downgrade the unit to a simpler model water heater since I told him this unit is just not working for our needs. We also contacted Rheem and they said we can return the water heater because we have a 30 day return on it. It is now the end of the day and we have not heard a thing. I would prefer at this point to speak to the owner first hand instead of these third party phone calls. We are just not satisfied with the quality of work or the product. How does a company stand by a product that has this know issue. Even Rheem rep said it was problematic.

Total: $2,347 when originally quoted $1700.

100800 Heaters did an amazing job installing my hot water heater! It was a difficult job being that the hot water heater is on my patio and there was not enough room to remove it because the furnace was put in after the hot water heater and it blocked it in. 1800 Heaters had to disassemble the furnace to remove the old hot water heater. They did a great job and picked up a narrower hot water heater that still had the same capacity and installed with insulation which it never had before making it safer during the winter months. I attached a photo to show the cramped space they had to work in. I highly recommend them!

My 40 gallon gas hot water heater was professionally installed exceeding my expectations. From the removal of the old one to the installation of the new one the job was clean and efficient. The installers also briefed me in on important information about the hot water heater to help maintain it in good working order for years to come...thank you

I don't usually write reviews but here I am. I went through pseg route and I was told that they would handle the permit and everything in my town and that I would receive an email. However, there have been no communication from them. when I called them, I wasn't connected and there was no response from the voicemail that I sent. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this company. Better to install through local plumbers.

1800Heaters did an excellent job installing our new electric water heater. Charlie and his team were thorough, professional, and incredibly quick. Their knowledge and attention to detail made the whole process smooth and stress‑free. We couldn’t be more pleased with the service.

We had a wonderful experience. Even with the rough weather our technicians were on time and professional. Made it clear what they were doing and it was done very quickly. A clean job and a pleasure to have working on our home. Highly recommend this service.

I hired these guys through home depot. I got the Bradford White model that I wanted. It was installed perfectly the very first time. No fiddling around. Miguel was knowledgeable and courteous. He and his buddy moved the equipment in and out without damsging either stairs or walls. I will definitely hire them again.

The installer told me to open all the hot water fixtures before installing the new heater to let the air in and then close them. They told me to open all the fixtures and let the water run after installation to make sure there was no clogs.

I'm so glad I chose 1800HEATERS (through Lowe's, from whom I bought the water heater) to do the installation. Within minutes of signing up for the service, I got a call from them to get scheduled. They arrived when they said they would. They did the job and cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and professional, and completed the work (and consequently cost a little less) in less time than they had anticipated. I realize that can't happen every time but it was a nice surprise. :) I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

    Would go through them again!
-Service 5 STARS: Vince was amazing and I would rate him 5 stars easy. He was quick, professional, answered all of my questions and gave me an honest assessment of my setup.
    - Home Depot Scheduling 3 STARS: I would give 4 stars for scheduling. Home Depot says if you schedule before noon then it is same day. I called before noon to schedule and we heard the "well it's close to noon so we may be booked". If that's the case I would recommend changing "before noon" to "before 1130".
    - Customer Service: 5 STARS. The staff is very friendly and I would work with them again. Even though Home Depot said same day, the company was booked. After insisting I needed this same day (as promised from Home Depot), they were able to find Vince to come over.
    - Cost: 4 STARS: very fair cost except for 1 thing. I realized I paid 9 times the cost of a small tub to be placed underneath my water heater. Partially (well mostly) my fault for not getting one, but three digits for a part that costs less than $20 got me in trouble with my wife, so I had to say it.
